My numbers were only meant to draw attention to numerical arrangements.

5 7 5 and 6 3 3 are the number of syllables per line. There's other options besides syllables per line.

Because mystique's post followed discussion of IP:Original ratio and total house number, I was thinking the numbers represented original houses, IP houses, shows (or scarezones).

5/7/5 = Originals / Scarezones(+shows)? / IPs   <== This would be good

or

6/3/3 = IP / originals / shows?  <== This would not be very good

Mystique stated it was 5 7 5, not 6 3 3 that was Haiku.  Of course, I took it as above and ran with it.

Five IP Houses?

Yuck. Overrated garbage.

Non IP? Yes, please.

Gee, I guess 5 7 5 is Haiku after all.

By the way, Ifrit posted a new clue yesterday.  Everyone miss that?

Hellraiser?

No, I saw it as how much pull it would have at the event, FNaF NoES and Poltergeist being the biggest in that category.

Box office success rules out FNaF, but I'll go check the rest's box office numbers

Hellraiser did ok back in ‘87. But  Poltergiest and NOES(including dream warriors) did quite well.

Dream Warriors in today’s ticket price inflation adjustment would make over $100 million in the states.

Poltergeist would make over $200 million in today’s currency.

but my money that it’s Freddy.

With Fangoria Magazine returning, it would be fun to have a Fangoria presents house some day.

You mean like:

Fangoria presents: Leave it to Cleaver (HHN 2009)  <-- great house

or

Fangoria presents: The Spawning (HHN 2009)  <-- One of the worst houses of any year

Yup, was expecting this. “Yeah fuck you too!”

Am I being obtuse, or are Legacy's and Ifrit's clues saying this is the IP house that is replacing It?

I'm only recalling that It was thought to be coming, then not.

I think Ifrit is saying more than one IP, including IT, could have changed or been misinformation.

No new clues are given, I don't think

The Legacy clue could also point to Trick r Treat. That isn't a Simpsons Halloween special, but it is an anthology made up of several vignettes. It already is a loosely connected mash-up

EDIT- NEAT!

Seems my hint isn't working as well as I thought.

I mentioned the number of syllables per line.

There's another numerical arrangement per line.

The clue is indeed specific. The numerical arrangement tells you where to look.

Everything’s crooked!

Reality is poison!

I want to go back!

5, 7, 5...am I on to something or nah?

See one post above.

:)

If we’re talking TrT I mentioned it yesterday and it wasn’t acknowledged so I figured I was wrong again and whoever liked it or replied that it was only in regards to the big money makers question that was in the same post, not the TrT guess.

I think my post was liked because I went through the exact info that was provided to reach the answer. I certainly didn't get there on my own. Once again, this was a group effort. I also didn't include a bunch of other wrong things in the post as I often do. I had guessed Patient Zero long ago, but no one bit because I likely said a bunch of other crap too. heh heh

I just see the tweet as Ifrit saying one or more of his tweets were wrong. He hinted at IT, The Thing, TrT, and pretty much everyone except him has said that IT and The Thing aren’t coming. Makes me sad.

nice one @TheRobcat! Really looking forward to a TrT house, that film is great. Legacy also said that this will be the next announcement on IU.

Yeah, in summary (please correct me if wrong):

clue one - IT. Not happening

clue two - Trick r Treat.  Appears likely to be coming

clue three - The Lost Boys. No comments/news either way

clue four - The Thing. Not likely to be happening

clue five - Dead Exposure. Happening, but evolving from the first dead exposure maze

Gutted about IT, but one IP alone does not maketh HHN!

The clues, with Ifrit's comments (and mine in parentheses)

clue one - IT - We must forget

clue two - Stranger Things (already announced)

clue three -  Trick r Treat - Not mentioned in Ifrit's tweet (presumed next announcement)

clue four - The Lost Boys - Will have to go away

clue five - The Thing - Growing and changing

We knew about IT, too bad about Lost Boys and what the hell does The Thing bit mean?

I WANT it to be The Thing getting a megahouse, but wouldn't that be for ST if there even is one this year?

Would The Thing really require a megahouse? I can understand a SS for temp control but  2/3 of the film is suspense. The other 1/3 would fit in great at HHN, but I really don't think it has enough scenes for a mega-house like the past AHS houses have really required.

Plus, I'm betting it won't come this year, at least as a solo house.

could see ST being a mega-house:
-Mirkwood (Will's bike)

-Hawkins Lab (portal to Upside Down/opening scene elevator scientist)

-Hawkins Lab (El being experimented on)

-Byers house: Jonathan's room (Should I Stay or Should I Go)

-Byers house: living room (Christmas lights R-U-N)

-Herrington pool Upside Down

-Mirkwood (Nancy dragged through tree)

-Castle Byers Upside Down

-Corpse filled Upside Down

-Byers house: Demogorgon vs. Nancy and Jonathan ("flame" effects)

-Hawkins Middle hallway (Demogorgon "bursts" wall via strobes and boo door, similar to Mummy)

-Hawkins Middle classroom finale

-Maybe Byers house bathroom as a post-finale scene (changing to Upside Down)?

(If this belongs in the ST thread, move it there. I was just demonstrating that it could fit the mold of larger than normal house.)
