blacklagoontaylor
I saw they added group sales ( I don't believe it was an option before), so hopefully express will be around the corner as August creeps up next week.

Sleepyfawn
Now , I have not had the option to get FF+express... Does it work on a house multiple times a night unlimited for the whole event or does it only work like a normal express with one go per house per night? WESKER69
The FFP+ with express works just like a normal express pass for the event. Once per house for each night of the FFP.
dave
I'm planning on getting a frequent fear pass when I can, which is what I've usually gone with the last several years I've attended. I doubt I would take full advantage of rush of fear. Frequent fear plus gives you more options for a reasonable markup ($3 per Friday added), but then again Fridays are always more crowded. I'm not sure that I'll add express since I know I'd eventually see every house a few times each by just always getting there early and skipping houses with long waits. However, you never know how if attendance will be really high on all nights even in this economy. It's not a bad deal at all to add express to frequent fear when you look at the individual night prices. Definitely gives you peace of mind and a more relaxed evening. Thing is that parking isn't included with frequent fear, so factor in another $15 per night you go. Might be better off saving that express money for parking. I'm impatient though and 20 - 30 minutes is about as long as I care to wait on queue . . . probably come down to what my budget dictates. To anyone who hasn't been to HHN before that can only go to one night of the event, do yourself a favor and buy express if you can afford it. Especially if you're going on a Friday or Saturday. Double especially if you're going later in the month. Not getting to see all the houses because of long lines would be a real drag, even more so if you've travelled a long way. Rikku
The past few events I was only able to attend on Weds nights and those have been very light crowd wise but this year I may not be able to attend on Weds nights and have to attend Thurs and Sunday nights, thank goodness they aren't Friday and Saturday, however I expect these nights to be heavier crowd wise than a Weds night but I am just curious how much more and any particular Thurs and Sunday to avoid? Also when is Hell Week this year?

Also when is Hell Week this year? the first 2 Thursdays/Sundays and the last ones are normally fairly light on crowds. The days in the middle of October are insanely packed no matter which day you go. One particular Thursday is worse than Fridays and Saturdays and i believe that's usually the 18th or around that date.
Troiandan
the first 2 Thursdays/Sundays and the last ones are normally fairly light on crowds. The days in the middle of October are insanely packed no matter which day you go. One particular Thursday is worse than Fridays and Saturdays and i believe that's usually the 18th or around that date. I think Hell Week is one or both of the last two weeks of the event. The Thursday insanity comes from local schools having a particular Friday off, so all those little... darlings hit the park that Thursday. I don't have kids, so I don't know, but if anyone else local does, they might know the school schedules for Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, to know which Friday(s) they have off. I don't have kids, so I don't know, but if anyone else local does, they might know the school schedules for Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, to know which Friday(s) they have off. So I did a Google search on Osceola and Orange and it appears that the weekend will be extended on the 19th. So basically go till the 30th of Sept then avoid 4-7 'cause of Columbus Day then the Thurs and Sun of 11 and 14 should be okay then avoid 17-21 then okay again for 25 and 28 and I didn't go on Halloween last year but I had a friend who did and said it was very light so Halloween might okay as well this year? Thanks again everyone for all the help and info!!!

Aberwrath
Kind of a stupid question, but my finance and I are going to be in universal for our honeymoon...and she came to HHN with me last year because I begged her. She won't go in the houses when they are "LIVE" this year, and I feel inclined to not dragged her through it because it is our honeymoon haha. She LOVES the backstory and design of the houses though. Can we get tickets for the Unmasking tours and just do that, without buying HHN tickets? Or is it something where you need to buy HHN tickets AND the Unmasking tickets? I will probably go through HHN myself this year while she is in bed haha. Thanks for the help all

If you plan on staying in the park after the tour or going into the park before the tour, then you will need tickets for the park. Daytime tickets or an AP. When I went on my tour we did not need to provide information about attending the event, but the UTMH also wasn't available through the website. You had to email or call to book the tour. I would call and verify this before you buy your tour just to make sure this information is correct.

You are correct, If you do not have park tickets you are allowed on the tour but they will escort you out once it is over. you don't need to purchase HHN tickets either as it happens well before the event starts.
