Oh believe me, it's not that I didn't like it!

I thought all the houses were incredibly good this year.

I did only go through once, I'll have to try it again. Maybe it was just the one experience, but there weren't a lot of scares for me. The detailing was great though.

My rankings are the same as her's, except flip Hallow'd Past and Havoc. With that said, I think all houses are amazing this year and more important ALL scareactors are amazing. Love you all!

Everything this year was great in it's own way. The first five houses on my list I could walk through over and over again a million times. The last three are also very fun. The scarezones as well were all great.

Overall though, there wasn't a BAD house or scarezone in the bunch this year.

2) Catacombs/ Havoc Tie! seriously I can't choose i like both the same amazing actors great sets

3) Legendary Truth, really like the way this one feels, But, I really wish they had actors hanging from the roof like Dracula's brides

The rest is hard, they have great things but also great flaws...

5) Hallow'd past but only because of the actors and the warehouse part....

The event:

overall, I have to admit I was disappointed the first days, I guess I expected better, too much Hype, a horrible Icon and ok houses made me kinda feel bad about it, but after accepting what they brought and going to the houses more times I like it now, it's still not what I expected but is nice nevertheless

Ok first off I want to preface this post by pointing out that a.please don't take any offense to it if I rank a house or scarezone badly that you're in. Houses are completely subjective and I personally have had consistently bad timing it seems in the last two on the list of houses but I've seen a bunch of other people that seem to love them and I'm not saying that you guys aren't doing a great job overall just that my experience in those houses haven't been as good as the others mostly because of bad timing/ lack of scares directed at me compared to others and also b.I still don't think any house this year is really bad, they're all at least good, which is nice because every other year I've been going has had 1-3 houses I flatout hated and thought were really bad. This year has none like that.c. I love and respect each and every one of you scareactors for doing what you do. And Now finally the ranking themselves...

HOUSES

1. The Orfanage( I love the atmosphere of it and I have gotten alot of scares in this one plus I'm just a big fan of Cindy and the Cindy's in this house were awesome.)

2. Catacombs ( This one really only loses to The Orfanage because I'm more of a big fan of Cindy than I am of the Black Death. This one has by far given me the best pure raw scares of the event. It's atmosphere is pretty well-done too just not as good as Orfanage.)

3. Horror Nights ( ok this one has barely given me scares except for the icons at the end but it's really awesome seeing all of the old stuff. I just wish still they would have older stuff and not having most of it be the last few years.)

4. ZombieGeddon

5. Psychoscareapy

6. Havoc

7. Legendary Truth ( haven't gotten a lot of scares at all but I LOVE the facade and the concept I just need to be targeted more which in this house I'm not )

8. Hades ( see LT and add an extreme annoyance/hatred for the hanging hair stuff you have to go through and that you're walking on mulch for most of the house)

SCAREZONES

1.Fear Revealed ( I just love seeing all the icons basically)

2. 20 years of Fear

3. Zombie Gras

4. The Coven

5. Esqueleto Muerte

6. Saws n Steam ( Just way too much fog for such a small alley. This would be way higher up if it didn't have as much fog.

1.) Catacombs (My mom called this one Kitty Combs as soon as she heard about it, seems like great minds think alike. LOL)

2.) Zombiegeddon (This house is my speed. It has some intensity, and it's got some great dark humor.)

3.) Legendary Truth (Enjoyed the effects even if they weren't as impressive as my imagination depicted them.)

4.) Hades (Loved Medusa and Minotaur, though Medusa was the highlight)

5.) Hallow'd Past (Even though I didn't attend '08 I feel a bit let down as I wasn't able to see as much of the classic houses that I was unable to experience )

6.) The OrFANage (I actually really enjoyed this house, but the others were much more muchier.)

7.) Psychoscarepy (The jail cell hallway and doorway hallway were awesome, but it was just too depressing.)

8.) Havoc (Appreciate the intense scareactors but blahhhhh I've got some hypersensitive ears.)

For me, there are no bad houses or scarezones this year. That's not something I would say about every year, so that makes it a great year for me. I have gotten great scares and attention in every location, so if I rank your area lower than others, please know that it's not because I didn't like it - I did. Like all of us, I have my favorites and that which appeals more personally to me.
