ferox
If you're right and they go for Escape from NY/LA but horror, it would be a great fit for the square. Bad Moon Rising is being used to promote the next season of TWD, which I found funny for obvious reasons.

DTH316
Might as well tune in to TWD tonight to see what they'll put in the maze this year!
Grindhousehero13
Not much from the episode...even story wise... unless there is a gallon of pudding.
AsylumSB
How about Herschel's head on a sword. Or is that something a food cart vendor would sell alongside the turkey legs? ummphr....
Mr.HHN
. How about Herschel's head on a sword. Or is that something a food cart vendor would sell alongside the turkey legs? ummphr.... Hershel on a stick! Get your Hershel head on a stick! horror lover
I could see the Room where Carl faces the Walker and the Door with Walker Inside scribbled on it
Grindhousehero13
I can see it being written somewhere in the maze but I don't think we are really gonna see any scenes from that house...nothing really memorable really happened.
Freak
I'm going to watch tonight's episode, so I'm going to avoid the spoilers until I see it, but I could see them starting in the prison (All rummaged up), the cabin they could reuse from Evil Dead (And the bodies labeled "rapist", "Liar", etc.), the store with the raining walkers (They could reuse the helicopter), and whatever else might happen in the season. AgentOfChaos93
Anyone play Outlast? I think it would make a great maze. The popularity is a question though.
DTH316
Haven't even heard of it. Its popularity is not even a question :-P

Grindhousehero13
Purge 2 trailer tomorrow (via Facebook) and my vibes are getting more and more correct in my eyes....this screams scarezone/Terror Tram
DTH316
Terror Tram drop off anyone? :-P I actually think it'd be better as the backlot experience. They can do a video for that as well to set it up. Edited February 12, 2014 by DTH316
Grindhousehero13
I wouldn't be surprised if The Purge 1 is in the front like last year and Purge: Anarchy on the metro set or Terror Tram.
Freak
Teaser for the Purge: Anarchy is out. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=654794377914272 It looks like there could be some maze potential.
Grindhousehero13
first off as a fan of dystopia movies ala Escape from LA, and probably the only person alive who liked doomsday I love the trailer! second of I'm calling it this will be the Terror Tram this year if not one of the scarezones, but as far as maze I personally doubt it since as my hunches have been right so far it takes place more outside (at least from the trailer) I can see the tram "Breaking down and you have to escape the back lot. Also how cool would it be if they incorporated to dirt bikes!
ferox
A few good theories out there...here's a few to consider. Alleyways at night are easy enough to make into indoor settings. Since the Parisian Square queue is pretty close to the front gates, they could have posters warning about The Purge and put the maze in there. OR Metro Set dropoff, lead to a soundstage maze. Start off with the Purge 1 house (facade) have a facade scare of a purger hiding in the bushes or something. Go through the home for three rooms or so, escape the house and into the back alley horror. With a soundstage the "outdoor" thing can work out. Grindhousehero13
the thing is not only it being out door it's being out door in the open, like you said ally ways which can be pulled off ala Woodburry but from the trailer a lot seems to be open streets. If they can pull off a maze great but it would seem to be more in the spirit of the movie to try Metro set or Terror Tram more so Terror Tram. Also does anyone else see New York street remaining themed to Purge 1?
ferox
Yeah, good point. Hard to judge by the trailer though.
Grindhousehero13
yeah I'm just going off of the trailer and the plot description it would seem like a good Terror Tram story line...also I want Dirt Bikes!!!
ferox
I could see scareactors on bikes that don't move but "rev" as a distraction scare.
Mr.HHN
I like the theory ferox stated but I agree with Grind. It looks like more of a terror tram or backlot theme. Kinda hard to tell tough if NY will remain hostage by purges
Freak
I seriously doubt they'll do the Purge backlot experience (As awesome as that would be). I feel like they'll save the backlot venues for Walking Dead and another 3D rocker maze. I think we already know the theme of the Terror Tram and that the Purge scarezone will come back. I'm thinking they may add the "satanic" purgers in the scarezone though. Hey guys...Purge scarezone, Purge Terror Tram, possibly a Purge maze....can we say theme is coming back?
Grindhousehero13
I could see scareactors on bikes that don't move but "rev" as a distraction scare. that would be awesome I just don't know about it being a maze though, it seems wiser to put it as the Terror Tram and a Scarezone. Honestly it would be a damn good over all theme but I wonder if it will over TWD.
