Halloween Horror Nights 24 Speculation

Oi more freaking chemicals

I know zinc oxide... Use it every day. Diaper rash ointment AKA Desitin.

^This!!

After figuring out the other two items (both used to pigment paint). All I kept thinking was "We are painting a baby?"

The more important question:

Who is the boss?

Searching on Wikipedia, all three have uses in cosmetics, with the bismuth and iron oxide both being used as pigments (white and green respectively). Jack maybe? His face has white and green in it primarily. He could also be seen as "the boss" either cause he's the most recognizable icon, and/or since he now owns/runs that carnival.

I gotta post these. They are from voorhees on FB

about the previous clue:

These compounds are not methylamine. Yes, in organic chemistry a methyl group is CH3 and an amine group is NH2. But, these are more complex organic molecules.

The straight chain molecules are actually called 1,4-butanediamine, otherwise known as putrescine, and 1,5-pentanediamine, otherwise known as cadaverine (I had to look up the putrescine and the cadaverine parts). They do however have the same general characteristics of what has been speculated above - that of putrefaction in animals. Side note: 1,5-pentanediamine is found in the urine of animals with a lysine (a type of amino acid) deficiency, the same amino acid that Dr. Hammond and Dr. Wu eliminated from the diet of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park to ensure they would die if they escaped the island.

The ring structure is indole, which has the odor of human feces because it occurs naturally in human waste. However, it gives off a flowery smell when in low concentrations. ("Just look at the flowers.")

The second ring structure is 3-methylindole, also known as skatole (I had to look up the skatole part). It is simply the methylated version of indole and is also found in high concentrations in feces. However, skatole is also a key component in pheromones, insect sex attractants.

As a final note ... it is ironic that H2N can also indicate HHN! :)

About the last clue:

That clears up a lot! Clearly Jack and The Walking Dead

Dibs on that book title BTW ^

So summing up the mystery clues:

Halloween

Alien

The Walking Dead

Jack (in some capactiy)

Minus TWD I'm cool with that. Heck I'm super jazzed about Alien and Halloween is due. how have we had every major horror icon get the spotlight but not the one the popularized the slasher films?

TWD... as long as it is confined to a house I'll deal.

Jack is not my favorite BUT it has been a while since he has had a big role and I'll take ANYTHING over TWD everywhere. Jack, a murderous accountant... anything

It makes sense though I thought all the references to him last year were odd and out of place. Hadn't been seen since 2010 and suddenly we have him in a house, on a vinyl, and pin.

The mystery person is Cassilda Carcosa per what Mystique has told us. With the New Jack tie, my thought was: A female character calling Jack Boss? Chance. CC = Chance the Clown?

I'm sorry if Jack comes back then I lost all faith in marketing... What happen to the new age of Dark, I mean IP's

Probably something to do with hhn 21-23 not having the same reception as really any of the previous years.

I do have a bit of an idea, though. Jack and the "prop master" could be two separate entities.

Maybe the prop master is "Fear?" He appears in the video on the hhn site, which is weird to me, on top of that the scene with him looks like new footage, although I'm not sure.

That and Jack and all of the other icons served under Fear making him their "master."

Then again, its probably just Jack because "dats wut da fannzz want lel."

Cassilda Carcosa is an anagram of "Cardiac Colas ass".

Cardiac = Bloody

First African American Model for Coca-Cola = Mary Alexander

Ass = Back

Bloody Mary's Back!

Kidding aside, I did a quick google/Wikipedia search on the name Cassilda Carcosa and found some interesting things involving the horror genre that could be possible clues. Cassilda is a character and Carcosa is a location in a book of supernatural/horror short stories called The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers (The King in Yellow gets referenced by everyone from H.P Lovecraft to Steven King, so it might ring a bell). Give the Wikipedia page a scan, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_King_in_Yellow.

Also an interesting excerpt from it involving masks:

Camilla: You, sir, should unmask. Stranger: Indeed? Cassilda: Indeed it's time. We have all laid aside disguise but you. Stranger: I wear no mask. Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda.) No mask? No mask!

Right Carcosa has been used by a lot of authors including H.P. Lovecraft. The mask reference makes sense as aren't Jack and Chance in the morphan lineage?

Also... hmm something else I have to check out.

I wouldnt mind Jack coming back... why not? He is an HHN mainstay.

And if the TWD comes back I just hope all the mech isnt TWD themed. How about some other stuff mang? Nam sayin'?

If Jack and TWD are coming back, then chances are we are going to see at least a 50/50 or 40or so/60 split between merch with Jack and TWD. Jack being the low end.

Anything else will probably just a be a house shirt.
