Halloween Horror Nights (Hollywood) 2013 Speculation/Predictions

Recommended Posts

Ferox, it was after that initial quote. He went on to talk about the person related to Johnny Cash. it was this person who reportedly had a connection to trickster.

sorry, not very proficient with phone posting.

From April, when the original hint that was given.

Have you ever seen HOTC? I'm 99% sure it's a movie and not a song. The movie didn't make references to his music (just a bunch of better horror movies) and the maze only played one of his songs, which he wrote to be the theme for the movie. The maze had no references to his music career, aside from the theme song. The content of the maze matters more than marketing, right?

Boo. Hiss. Changing your post after we discussed this. Shame Shame, Mr. Ferox.

Which one of these is not like the others.......

A. Ozzy Osbourne

B. Alice Cooper

C. Rob Zombie

D. An orange

How awesome would it be if Trickster was really just a maze about the real life "Trickster" character who came to John's middle school?
And it was filled with heavy metal music and strobe lights and some retard in a crazy wig telling everyone in the house not to watch horror movies or do drugs.

And the whole time John Murdy would be sitting behind a one way mirror laughing is ass off...

What did I change about my post besides phrasing? When did Murdy say there was a connection between Sun Phillips and the Trickster? Why are you confused about HOTC being a movie?

The clues start to get subjective after awhile and either we or John Murdy get confused with the hints. "JOHN" had an added hint after the maze was announced. It was supposed to be "person A knew person B, person B is no longer alive, person b is related to Trickster". It became "person A is dead, person B is dead, Murdy worked with person B concerning person C (who is dead), both knew person D, who is related to "John". Huh?

So, if it is Ozzy, it would not surprise me. We have had a formula of two consecutive rockers over the past four years (even though Ozzy had been suggested).

plus the hint is the theme has never been suggested before never said the IP like DTH has pointed out it could be Ozzy but the theme could be Giant Flamingo's led by Ozzy terrorizing South Gate California the clue would not be a lie. As Far as Ozzy goes I'm just gonna say this until the annoucment, first off has anybody taken it that maybe the clue is about Ozzy but the maze is Black Sabbath, and last think about it guys all of a sudden OZZY came into the mix this week when most of us assumed it was Alice Cooper, don't you guys think there IS a reason out of no where several of us are connecting Trickster to Ozzy that maybe we are not COMING up with this out of the blue?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7keQRCzNpk

the song and movie were written at the same time the movie was filmed in 2000 and the song released in 2001

but I get what you mean about HOTC being a maze about the movie and not Rob Zombie.

I'm not really sure how people think HOTC was a maze about Rob Zombie's music. I mean...they saw the movie right? When Johnny Cash was referred to as an actor did they have a similar mental block? If they heard that David Lynch was releasing a new album do they think it's a movie?

nk_theol_wight_spider_painting.jpg

Listen! It's a song by Marilyn Manson! I mean it's a painting yeah but since he is best known as a singer that is clearly a song. Kinda quiet though. Just like Ozzy's live concert series "The Osbournes."

it's officially called Rob Zombie's House of a Thousand Corpses. Is there another Rob Zombie that directed this picture?

USH made a maze off of Rob Zombie's Movie, but used his notoriety as a Musician.

IT WAS BOTH!

Let's all agree that it's somewhere in the middle.

BLESS YOU GRAY AREAS!!!

Now, on to more pressing conversation, anything else!

Pumpkin has 70's people in it.

No, it's Rob Zombie. Rob Zombie who directed the movie. I can break it down for you.

When Rob Zombie is singing into a microphone along with a band, he makes music. That is Rob Zombie being a musician. Rob Zombie had a maze based on his music back in 1999 called The Thrilling Chilling World of Rob Zombie. When Rob Zombie is sitting in a director's chair and directing a movie, that's him being a director. Something he directed, which was a movie, was HOTC. That movie, which was not a piece of music but rather a piece of cinema, was the basis for the maze. It was called Rob Zombie's House of a Thousand Corpses since he was the person who directed that movie. The same way that the official title for Hostel was Eli Roth's Hostel. Because Eli Roth was the director of that movie. For better or worse, Rob Zombie was one of the biggest names in horror movies at the time. I hear people say that Rob Zombie is their favorite horror director pretty often. Not me by any means, but people really do say that. The two HOTC mazes had nothing to do with his music.

And if there was a tweet where Murdy said Trickster had a connection to Sun Phillips, I'm still waiting on that.

Or at least people that look they are from 70s, and are on some kind of screen. Leading theory before was AWIL before Jimmy crushed that dream. One theory I have is AHS, but that's just one theory.

We can't post photos on mobile huh?

And I think I have a pic of that leisure suit lol now I'm searching for any 'horror movies' or shows that might be set in the 1970's and involve some type of leisure suit. What else would they do around that period? Any horror events/occurances?

70's isn't too far off from the 80s... Could be that too.

I'm thinking it might be some news report that we're going to pass by on a television in one of the rooms of the maze....

Or, it's the porno scene from AWIL and Murdy's going to play the pissed off British guy. hahaha!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-nhJ3dqkxout since we're going to hear his name (which is inspired by a Soup if you listened closely) I'm leaning towards news report.

Did any of you get to see Eli Roth's Goretorium?

He did something like that with a vintage news report before you entered the maze. Twas sick.

HHN Is trying to hard to make their death scenes look real.

haha

So I'm taking it there's nothing about a Trickster/Sun Phillips connection or Murdy switching up the hints for John? If there's more info we all want to hear it.

Edit: RE:AWIL.

If Dr. Jimmy ends up being wrong and Hollywood does get AWIL, it would make sense. But it's Jimmy...so it's better to assume that AWIL and RE are off the table. But the description of Murdy's outfit could fit in a few eras, 1970s being the most obvious. This doesn't mean that the maze takes place in the 70s though. It's the maze he's releasing the least amount of hints to, which is interesting.

Hey, if there's hints about Trickster that are out there I want to hear them. I just want to make sure they actually exist.

Another quote from Murdy about Trickster...it's also the property that was never suggested. Not just the theme. Which does make Black Sabbath still technically fairish game. BS would make more sense than Ozzy since they are actively touring/promoting an album and Ozzy hasn't done a solo album in three years.

I did say that to my knowledge this theme\property has never been suggested for the event....take that as you will....

Are we realy arguing over Sun Phillips guys? we have more important matters to attend to. Like Pumpkins and Tricksters and Jellybeans.....

Anywho I would'nt count on:

AHS

AWIL

Alice Cooper

or

Exorcist

so says crazy Ralph

It seems like Pumpkin is too much of a coincidence for properties like Halloween or Trick R Treat. Would love either, though. In fact Grindhouse, I would not mind having any of the ones you mentioned that were not likely to be at HHN this year.
