An all-encompassing force or whatever, but I think that the fans (aka the paying public) like having a singular icon that they can "meet" and they're going to stick with it. I'd love for a ghost or something that had it's hands in every house and was projected in there, indirectly, and NOT a person at all....or my idea of multiple icons...but just something FELT in all the houses. Like a spirit that would brand each person it possessed and all the scareactors had triangles branded into their foreheads...and triangles were spraypainted all over the park...and carved into stuff....and "hidden" in props all over the park. I'd love that and the "easter egg" aspect of searching out the triangle/symbol. Just don't think it's possible given what the general public wants. Hmmmmm, if the houses were to go in chronological order and be the "progression of luck/chance/whatever" with different manifestations in each zone/house/scare zone I'd be in heaven. That would be what I've been hoping for. Show Luck or Chance or Fate or whatever back in the 15th century when Columbus was sailing around the globe...during some Catecomb-like period...during Prohibition gambling...during WWI...during Salem Witch Trials....etc. Having a different version (Icon v1.0, Icon v2.0, Icon v3.0, etc) of the Icon/Theme along the way. EDIT: And of course, you'd need some Easter Egg / Cliff Hanger when you exit the park hinting that Luck/Chance/Fate has always been around and he/she/it will be there in the future, so watch your back! We can only see one of her faces now, but all cards have a second face on the bottom and that one is hidden from our view. I think you have a good point there, Sarah. I do still believe that we'll get an icon this year. Maybe we won't be getting a house to go directly along with he/she, but, again, I agree with all the rationalizations about the event more than likely having a face, and that face probably being seen somewhere in the park. It'd be neat if they combined the two ideas of a "Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde" psyche and our speculations of an iconic character or demi-iocn for this year. You do notice that when you do beat one of the games, only half of the poker chip is brightly colored while the other half isn't, right? Since there are eight chips and if there are going to be at least 3 more games to come, then why would all the chips be half colored in instead of the whole chip? I think that there might be alot more games after the next 3. My theory is that they will have a game based on all 6 scarezones and the 2 shows, 6+2=8. The eight games could fill in the other halfs of the poker chips, and it will be the perfect time to reveal the entire site after they do that. Because if this is true, (theories, not fact) the next 11 games could be be reaveled one game a day from now on, excluding saturdays and sundays. The last game could be revealed on the 29th, which would be around the same time the entire event is revealed. Would this be a good theory? There is still no consensus on which soundstage is which (see below). There is no consensus on if Sprung two is a casino or a Poe house. There is no consensus on the "theme" of Sprung 1. There are the type of maps where the logos/names are at the locations, or there was the XX one with just the lantern and a number (with the logo off to the side). Luck usually refers to gambling, fun and games and oft events that have a positive outcome. Chance might be looked at as something that's either good or bad, i.e. a 'chance encounter' or 'the chance of a lifetime.' Fate, however seems very definite, and usually refers to something beyond one's control, i.e. 'your fate is sealed.' Just think it would be interesting to see the digression of our Icon, if we have one, as something that they've lost control over; that we as guests or victims were pawns of and something greater than our Big Bad took control.
