  1. *TOP 3 HOUSES* 1. Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood- I was targeted by actors everywhere! It's a beautiful house yet can be very scary if you hit the scares at the correct timing! 2. Halloween- ITS SCARY. Nuff said. 3. AVP- Cool sets, scary puppets, and large predators make this a must see house! 4. Roanoke: Cannibal Colony- I must have hit this house at a good time. Me and my friends literally walked in with nobody in front of or behind us...All the actors targeted us. 5. Dollhouse of the damned- Its just a very weird and creepy house. THE SMELL IS JUST AWFUL! 6. From Dusk Till Dawn- Its a unique concept but not good enough to provide a lot of scares. The only scares I got was from the more creature looking scareactors. 7. Giggles & Gore- I must have hit this house at the wrong time because I didn't get any scares. I was kinda mad. ...And as for The Walking Dead, I have yet to see that house. I will be returning to the event soon and I will make sure to see it. Though it probably won't make my Top 3. Scarezones 1. FaceOff- This is such a fun and energetic zone! Which is why its my favorite! BTW I Love the music!! 2. The Purge- Insane. Jaw-dropping. Scary. 3. Bayou of Blood- Beautiful props and sets. But I havent really recieved or seen any scares. 4. MASKerade:Unstitched- Its mostly just a bunch of glamorous scareactors dancing to freaky masquerade ball music. Not so scary, more pretty and fun.
  2. Houses: 1) Halloween 2) Roanoke 3) Giggles & Gore 4) AVP 5) Dollhouse of the damned 6) Dracula Untold 7) TWD 8) From Dusk till Dawn Scarezones: 1) Bayou of Blood 2) MASKerade 3) Faceoff 4) The Purge
  3. This year sounds really great so far! Its really hard to tell if we will have a suckish house this year! Im beyond happy that the unique and diverse scarezones are back!! But the back-half of the park will be a total dead zone which is sad... This year reminds me a lot off HHN 22 (not saying the houses at HHN 24 will suck like most of 2012 houses) but the fact that there is not really a theme or icon its more of just a variety of different/random things. Even the 24 logo is similar to the 22 logo. Overall Im excited for this year. NOT thrilled with the return of TWD but it being the LARGEST house is pretty awesome. FDTD..I dont find slutty vampires very scary so im not sure about that one. AVP sounds like an awesome action packed gore fest! Dracula could end up being a phenomenal house. Roanoke I can tell is already a favorite of mine. Giggles & Gore Im hoping for a Jack cameo. Dolls of the damned will probably be very creepy and twisted but I think the house name is boring. And Halloween well is just awesome. Most Anticipated Houses to Least Anticipated: 1) Halloween 2) Roanoke-Cannibal Colony 3) Giggles & Gore Inc. 4) Alien vs. Predator 5) Dollhouse of the Damned 6) Dracula Untold- Reign of Blood 7) Walking Dead- End of the line 8) From Dusk till Dawn
  4. Can I get a signature with Sylvie from myX and Howloscream??
  5. Ugh. I love the ideas of Nightingales 2, having an Icon, and even Scarezones returning...But my god do we have to have another year of the walking dead?!?!? This season has sucked big time! There is nothing interesting or new about this season at all!! I feel like having it would be a waste of a house considering it would pretty much be last years house all over again. Im tired of seeing the same old zombie masks reused since 2012...Last year was an overkill. And has anybody noticed that TWD is really repetitive? I mean they start out in one place then they must leave and search for a new place oncethey settle there they have to leave and find another new place to live...TWD is boring.
  6. Instead of a Top 10 my list will consist of my Top 3 houses from each year I've been (2010-2013)... Cabin In the Woods (23) American Werewolf In London (23) Evil Dead (23) Universal's House of Horrors (22) Dead End (22) Silent Hill (22) Nightingales: Blood Prey (21) The Forsaken (21) Saws N Steam: Into the Machine (21) Catacombs:Black Death Rising (20) Horror Nights: The Hallowed Past (20) Havoc: Dogs of War (20) And the Worst houses I have ever been in since I've been going (2010-2013)... Walking Dead: Dead Inside (22) Walking Dead: No Safe Haven (23) Penn & Teller newKD Las Vegas (22) Resident Evil: Escape from Racoon City (23) Alice Cooper: Welcome to my Nightmare (22) Afterlife:Deaths Vengeance (23) Any House from 2010-2013 that was not listed falls in between The Best and The Worst houses because I loved these houses, they were not horrible, but other houses were just in ways better
  7. This right here ^...is exactly what I want. NO MORE WALKING DEAD! I will be so sad if it gets a third year...Like seriously its an overkill. I mean it already took over the streets this year who knows what it would do next year if it came back. I wouldnt even bother going in the house it if came back. Seriously like Walking Dead ruins having a strong theme/storyline and any chance of having an icon and it also takes away from us having great merchandise Im fine with IP Houses (except walking dead) as long as we get an actual theme/storyline and icon..I mean they did it in 2007 & 2009 why cant they do it now? Why do we have to copy Hollywood? Having themes, storylines, tie-ins, and icons is what really makes HHN Orlando different from any other Halloween Event in the world..Cause if you think about it there are some other events out there with IPs and detailed houses. I would like to see 2 or 3 IP houses and 5 or 6 Originals if they cant do that then at least make it even with 4 originals and 4 IPs..because having 5 IPs can be a bit of an overload and takes the attention away from the 3 originals. Next year needs to have complete DIVERSITY in the Streets! NO ZOMBIES. ZIP. NADA. The streets at HHN 23 were not entertaining and not scary at all. Seeing a few zombies walking around was a bunch of crap and extremely boring...I'd rather have TONS of actors and less extravagant props. I missed having streets like The Legions, 7, HHN 20 years of fear, or Fear Revealed. The streets are suppose to be interactive and fun...That wasnt felt at all this year. Also bring back Rocky Horror Picture Show (Its the best!), Bill & Ted, and maybe a 3rd show to chew up the crowds? HHN 24 needs to have... A Theme,Storyline, and Powerful Icon. A fair even amount of Original Houses and IPs/ or Fewer IPs and a little bit more of some Originals ORIGINAL DIVERSITY AND MORE ACTORS in the streets Rocky Horror, Bill & Ted, and a 3rd show. Gringotts Open. Unique Merchandise Insidious as an IP House
  8. My vote for House is Cabin In The Woods! It scared the $%#* out of me! My favorite house(in my opinion the best)! American Werewolf In London was a very close 2nd it was intense and overall entertaining and very well detailed every scene was right out of the movie!! Evil Dead finishing the Top 3 for me this year it was also pretty intense and just like the movie! As for the streets...Well considering I hated the walking dead streets this year I dont have a favorite..But since you have to vote for a street to make your House vote count I randomly put the Fall of Atlanta.
  9. Well then I guess we can kiss goodbye to having an actual theme/storyline, icon, and good merchandise for next year...Cause you know if this returns again next year its going to be pasted all over the advertisements lol
  10. I really hope this IP doees NOT return next year...I mean its a good show just not scary and Im already tired of having it after 2 years
  11. After seeing all these amazing signatures I want one of my own! Heres what I have to work with: Cerebin Nightingales Universals House of Horrors(The Creature FTBL) Cabin in the woods
  12. So heres my HHN 23 review! I went on 10/20 and it was really crowded...But it was UCF night so it was expected. I managed to see everything I wanted to see. So lets start with the houses!(in order from greatest to least) 1) Cabin In The Woods 10/10- My absolute favorite this year! It was so scary and intense I wanted to cry! It felt like I was actually in the movie! Such an amazing house! 2) An American Werewolf In London 10/10- Brilliant house! Very scary and the sets were so emmersive and exactly like the movie! Those Wolfs almost gave me a heart attack even though theyre just animatronics... 3) Evil Dead 10/10- Another perfect house! Everything in the house was exactly like the movie down right to the dead cat scene! Lots of good scares! 4) Urban Legends: La Llorona 8/10- Ive never seen such a beautiful house in a tent before(besides Nevermore) and the mirror room was intense! But overall the house was just creepy not too scary. I loved how you entered her under water world that was really creative. 5) Havoc: Derailed 8/10- Not as intense as the first Havoc house from 2010...But it was pretty cool. Theres some scenes that are pretty amazing for a Disaster Queue house..It was only "scary" at the very end. I was expecting more but its still a good house. 6) Resident Evil: Escape from Racoon City 7.5/10- This felt like it was suppose to be a comedy house...There were some unique things like the pause scene and wide sets..But even the characters look kinda goofy lol. Not many scares and kinda short. I feel like if youre a fan of the games you will like it. 7) The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven 6/10- I didnt care much for this house but it was better than last years house I guess. 8) Afterlife: Deaths Vengeance 6/10- A very disorienting house...Better than Penn & Teller but not as good as The In-Between. Now onto the streets...THEY WERE POOP! 1.) In all four years Ive been this year has had the least actors in the streets. 2.) It gets boring seeing the zombies over and over again...Thats why the streets usually strive off of diversity...one central theme in the streets will get boring and repetitive. 3.) The Zombies werent very interactive like the Legions or past scarezone characters were. 4.) They were not in the stores, restaurants, or waiting outside of bathrooms or ride exits this year. 5.) The Walking Dead theme song was cool with the bass drop but even that eventually got annoying hearing over and over again. rating: I dont even know what to rate this... Overall Event rating: 9.5/10 (Because of the houses.) THINGS I WOULD CHANGE FOR NEXT YEAR: 1.) Bring back the Themes & Icons- This year attempted to have a theme but it ultimately fell flat do to some Walkers...I really want a theme that ties everything together and tells a storyline and a powerful icon that has an overwhelming presence as though they are the ones controlling the event creating the chaos for that certain year. Remember Universal you can still have a mixture of original content and IPs while having a theme/storyline and icon. You managed to pull it off in 2007 & 2009 why cant you do it now? 2.) NO MORE WALKING DEAD. It was an overkill bringing it back as a house and making it the whole entire street experience this year. It would hurt the event even more bringing it back a 3rd year. I feel as though TWD is whats getting in the way of having a theme/storyline and icon. Evil Takes root had potential but failed as the theme. So thats it for now...Cant wait for HHN 24!! Oh and Rocky Horror and Bill & Ted were excellent shows!!
  13. 1. Cabin In The Woods 2. American Werewolf in London 3. Evil Dead 4. Urban Legends: La Llorona 5. Havoc: Derailed 6. Resident Evil: Escape from Racoon City 7. The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven 8. AfterLife: Deaths Vengeance
