  1. here's another video of 3-d projection that my home park did this year. Good example of what can be done in an urban park with lots of light pollution. especially an awkward surface (they're projecting on a mountain...) particularly check out ~ 5:18
  2. You could probably grab the titles shown on the house image and it'll give you a good base: The Tell-Tale Heart The Fall of the House of Usher The Black Cat The Raven and then I'd assume they'd have other tales like: The Pit and the Pendulum maybe The Premature Burial? or The Masque of the Red Death?
  3. Never been to HHN before, and I haven't been to Universal in years, but I've seen this come up a few times now and just have to ask (inquiring minds, you know...): Is there something wrong with the Jaws queue? Why is it hot?
  4. The Tell-Tale Heart? From Twitter this morn... It's also the Dark Blue card on FB Hints section Full Resolution
  5. New game is up. Light Purple colour. Leads to The Thing house. Since I was a little slow on that update I might as well add that even after beating all 8 games The House doesn't seem complete
  6. I'd have to agree with you Zombieman. I barely go to the website at all this year. It's obvious, you need to be lucky to win anything, but why build a website that purposefully frustrates it's fans? When I started following HHN in 05 the site was great and it hooked me. Now I'm to get other people into it as well, especially since we're going for the first time this year, but every time I introduce the site or the hints to anyone else, they play one round, get banished and say it's stupid & doesn't make any sense. Pretty hard to build hype for the trip down to Orlando when our main attraction has banished my fellow trip takers from a good portion of its website. That being said, I'd like to believe they have a reason for releasing information this way and the conclusion of the Take a Chance game will justify all the banishment and commitment required to build The House.
  7. Another hint on Twitter/FB We’ve been grinding out more HHN clues for you as the clock ticks toward the end. Appears to be something from Saws & Steam? And yes, they remembered to remove the title and info tags from this one.
  8. Maybe if the scarezones can change, then it'll be more like the games on the site. It's never the same each time you go through there, so you always have to take a chance on which path or which side to walk, and luck decides your outcome.
  9. sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I figured website updates would be best... Did anyone else get the mass email from Universal with the subject "Test your odds of surviving Halloween Horror Nights 21" I'm surprised they had a whole different chance game attached to it just to get to a purchasing tickets link. Is this the first email like this to go out? I find it odd since I've never had a promotional email from Universal before...
  10. Around the same time as Columbus' first voyage. It still seems like the maze could be more of a "Lost Ship" theme instead of a pirate ship.
  11. The "how fast can you type an email" contest just happened on the FB wall. ‎"'To wait for luck is the same as waiting for death.’ – Japanese Proverb. Be one of the first 21 people to email HHN21@universalorlando.com with your full mailing address, and then just wait… And you think you’re just waiting for cards. As fate would have it… there’s more… much more to come to those fortunate enough to be the first 21 each week…"
  12. Good eyes. It almost looks more like a Big Six wheel, with playing cards instead of money. there also seems to be a number 13 at the end of one section.
  13. Looks like another roulette wheel in the background there.
  14. Their latest tweet seems more like misdirection. They warned us they would taunt and misdirect, and suddenly they post 'hey, take a look at this...again'. That being said, why is this the only staged photo they've released? and why did they post 2 youtube videos related to it?
  15. I know I'm not adding much, but apparently the cleaver in the picture is a Winco KC-301 Heavy Duty
  16. Perhaps it's still half coloured so you know what colour the chip was originally and still get to see that you 'completed' it?
  17. Seems like at least 1, yeah. Unless they're using 'face(s)' in the sense of geometry (faces of a building) or in cards (face cards?). Also, when did they add a Leaderboard section to the FB page?
  18. You're right! The colour of greed, or money.
  19. I still find it odd that they're only using spades, which represents war or luck. They chose to have the Ace of Spades and Queen of Spades, not the jack to make it black jack. Ace of spades has a war connotation to it and Queen of spades supposedly represents Athena, greek goddess of war.
  20. Hmm, on closer look it may match Orange a bit better
  21. Red (edit: or orange) card on the FB page. Seems less like a pirate ship and more demony to me. and wow, the photo they posted to twitpic is very high resolution...
  22. Not sure if they have difference procedures for different tours, but I emailed to book my Arcane Insights tour this week and their response was to call them directly to book.
  23. Yep, or if you run out of time (shown on the left)
