JONNYFXM
This is a valid question, as it's a "defined" thing from the past. A "Party Zone" is a zone that isn't specifically focused on scaring. It's more of a fun respite, with club lighting, dancing music and stilt-walkers/performers posing for pictures. The were fairly normal before 2005, when they suddenly stopped and (to my recollection) haven't returned since. I remember those! I feel like the closest they've come to that recently is the freak show zone. I can't remember what year it was, but it wasn't focused on scares but the make-up and photo ops

kimlovesfl
Can't help but think of presidents for these clues. Woodteeth - George Wasington Dwarf - James Madison (the shortest pres at 5' 4") Grass - Clinton (" I did not inhale") Top Hat - Abraham Lincoln When discussing this with a friend, I said exactly the same thing, noting that love could be JFK. Why, it's the Hall of Dead Presidents! My other idea, and mind you, this is tongue in cheek, is that the sprung tent with bug eyes, etc, is that it's an Atlantic City casino house, and bug eyes is the Mafia don running the house. It would include whiny senior citizens gambling away their SS checks at the slot machines, and eating at a lousy buffet with overcooked food. We'd also need some slums and a dirty, seedy beach. Wouldn't it be funny if I was right? TBH, I have absolutely no idea what any of those code names mean. And I think that makes it more fun.

kimlovesfl
If this has already been mentioned, please excuse my stupidity, but I don't have a whole lot of free time to read all the speculation. What if Chance is back? Chance-luck-gambling; get it? And why would we need spanish speakers? Is this taking place in Puerto Rico, where there are casinos? And maybe pirates? kimlovesfl
I think either a Mafia-run casino theme, say taking place in the 50s, or an older, Caribbean, pirate-based theme would be fun. What about Casablanca during WWII? There are many possibilities on where this theme could go.
killswitch22
I was looking at http://hhnrumors.com/?x=casting and one of the new roles caught my eye. One entitled GM Victim in SS23B. I looked up GM in an acronym dictionary and saw that GM could stand for Genetic Modification or Genetic Manipulation. This lead me to believe that we could see either another "Thing" house because of the movie coming up, or a "Havoc" sequel. Both would be awesome in my book. Whatever may happen with the casino theme, I really do hope they stick with and add to the music presented on the website. Big Band/Swing circa 20's, 30's and 40's, my absolute favorite! And I like the Casablanca idea - put my favorite film with my favorite music, then scare the bejeebers out of us!

But anyways, to more speculation. I am not sure what to think about LT. It seems to me that whenever we had a year with a theme that had history behind it, (BM- 1958-2008, The Usher and the Palace Theatre, and the history of the icons last year and Fear) LT had been included. I think because we have another old-timey 20's feel, LT would be back to investigate or something. Also, i see many people talking about heaven and hell, and the word Himmel. All I can think about are the representatives for LT. Please correct me if I am wrong, but i thought the girl's last name was Himmel, and I know that there was a representative named Gabriel Fell, which has both allusions to heaven (gabriel) and demons (fell). I don't recall them being used too much last year except for that facebook episode; so, maybe we will learn more about them this year or in years to come...? HHN1234567
Or it could be like in Chucky with the stuffed animal wall where the scareactor is literally a part of the wall in the house. Keep in mind that the original translation of rune means "mystery" which doesn't really give me any ideas but maybe they quite literally don't want us to know what the "rune room" is and then I found this "3. ( mysteries) the secret rites of Greek and Roman pagan religion, or of any ancient or tribal religion, to which only initiates are admitted." which reminded me of Hades? dante
What if there was a mixture of the themes??? If they somehow incorparated the mafia style casino with the old pirate casinos?

I was thinking a lot along these lines as well, especially considering all the talk of the afterlife with heaven, hell, purgatory and such. But then that line of thought always leads me back to LT making a comeback. Edited July 9, 2011 by JONNYFXM

strangeoneout
So in the spirit of SPECULATING I'm going to offer my two cents. I agree Lula. The names evoke a fairy tale sensibility. Also, I personally feel our three people in heaven clue points to a story teller. So I feel these roles may be fairy tale related and might be a new twisted take on fairy tales different from the Scary Tales franchise. Disaster Overflow Queue (B67) Woodteeth = Tooth Fairy Dwarf = This is an incorrect role title. The correct spelling is Dorf. This can mean many things. Dorf is a common word for midget but also means village in german. Considering the individuals cast for Dorf are above 6' tall I highly doubt it has to do with a short person (unless thats the point) so I think it might be Villager. Grass= Gnome Top Hat= Mad Hatter Love= Queen of Hearts Watch= This role is fake. Egg= Humpty Dumpy Edited July 10, 2011 by Reaper

People forget all the characters that were in the books (i.e. Humpty Dumpty) and only focus on the characters from the Disney movie. Maybe the Dorfs could be the Tweedles since they are normal thought of as short and fat, but HHN has made them tall and skinny in the past. Plus the whole Queen of Hearts and deck of cards would work into the theme well. I was gunna say if the watch role wasnt fake it could have been the white rabbit lol. I just hope if they use anything Alice that they go in a completely different direction than Asylum or Scary Tales.
