A&D's actually planned an extreme house for YEARS and almost got one fully built in 2003 before the idea was canceled due to legal worries. Theres just seems to be somthing about being tempted, lured , enticed on the fb posts and the website that lend itself that a woman will be behind all the mayhem. Dave, my husband, watches the poker championships on TV pretty religiously and I heard that this is called 'the biggest trouble hand in poker'. Apparently, as good as a hand as it is, so many other combinations trump it that it has a reputation as a game-killer. It is a good assumption that with them using a queen on the HHN website that the icon could possibly be a girl. ie. Fate or even Chance... Oysterhead00 Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 After seeing the Website update, I want card-based Scaractors all over the park. 4 guys dressed like crazy Kings 4 guys dressed like Jacks (maybe some medeval armor) 4 sexy queens And of course, 2 CLOWN Jokers (non-Jack of course) Then, various other scareactors with emblems or patches on them designating some as 8 of clubs, or 4 of diamonds. Then some kind of "easter egg" contest where if you get your picture taken with all 54, you get a limited edition shirt declaring you a dealer. If you get your picture taken with all the face cards, aces, and jokers you get some plastic necklace that has a deck of cards on it. Give the die hards with the FFPs something to try for. These could be simple variations of existing merchandise, but I think it would be a cool thing to add and it wouldn't be advertised on the website or anything, just a newsletter to those who subscribe...or a text to those who signed up for updates. I think this would be discouraged since the actors are there to scare and not for photo ops. Yes some will pose but they are not required to. Bloody Mary had no real live presence in the park, same with Storyteller. And Cindy never became a real icon. I would like a female Icon like Terra Queen, where we can go tot he park and see her in person. I like the idea of personifying Luck, I think it could be cool! Dann93 Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 When I think of a casino I think of two places: Vegas and a cruise I'm expecting they'll be making a haunted maze that resembles an old Vegas casino, I'd be surprised if they didn't. However, I wonder if they'll make a maze with the theme of a cruise boat using props similar to the ones used in the S.S. Frightanic / Ship of Screams.
