SHOE
You mean Sting Alley... I'm embarrased to admit this but......I don't know why Sting Alley is called Sting Alley. I've been working HHN for 4 years (come see me in Horror Nights; Hallowed Past) and don't know the reason for it's name. Anybody? SHOE
Legacy
Thanks HORRORLANDO. But yea, is that all there is to it? Yes. They're moving the "New York" scarezone to Sting Ally. The saws will be at both ends of the ally with other SA in the ally itself.
Jumboshrmp
I'm embarrased to admit this but......I don't know why Sting Alley is called Sting Alley. I've been working HHN for 4 years (come see me in Horror Nights; Hallowed Past) and don't know the reason for it's name. Anybody? SHOE I am curious about this too. I always assumed it was just a scary name and they decided to use it, but if there is a reason behind it I would love to know. Yes. They're moving the "New York" scarezone to Sting Ally. The saws will be at both ends of the ally with other SA in the ally itself. This is such a great design idea. Force people to walk by the chainsaws by placing them at either end of the alley. I am so so excited for the scarezone now. I hope they do something different for the costumes, instead of just the typical ripped plaid shirt covered in blood. The Sprung facades are finished. Catacombs isn't much of a facade, but trust me, it doesn't need it.

SHOE I believe it is called Sting Alley because it is modeled after a set from the 1973 movie "The Sting". A great film non the less. It is also nice to see the pumpkins back, they set a nice atmosFEAR

SHOE I believe it is a reproduction of a set used in the movie "The Sting". It makes a helluva great scarezone; I've had several top-notch scares there over the years. I'm really interested to see how this is going to be pulled off and how they will introduce Fear The production team is describing Fear Revealed during rehearsals, but presently nothing is up for the zone. eyeballs
Posted a few more pictures on the Screamchasers twitter. Zombiegras http://twitpic.com/2mirg6 http://twitpic.com/2mirdp http://twitpic.com/2mirj4 Overall, no floats just yet. However there are fog boxes, garland and streamers to help with the Mardis Gras feel. Central Park http://twitpic.com/2miy5o (Jack) http://twitpic.com/2mf7hy (Caretaker) http://twitpic.com/2miy5c (Usher. Excuse the finger, it was pouring rain and I was covering my phone with my hand.) http://twitpic.com/2mitet (Director. Rain made this one blurry.) http://twitpic.com/2mitzj - (Rain shot. Looks pretty atmospheric, if you ask me. ) http://twitpic.com/2misxz (XX Pumpkin. There was another one of these up in the trees.) http://twitpic.com/2mit7b (Not really sure what this was.) http://twitpic.com/2mit74 (Jack pumpkin number two.) Central park seemed a little over half finished with the pumpkins, with the majority of the ground stuff done. I did not see a Storyteller pumpkin, although I may have missed it given the crummy weather situation. The Coven http://twitpic.com/2misfd (HHN's answer to Howl-o-Scream's Alone - Empty: the Scarezone. ) I would assume this will be finished after Rock the Universe, with some minor stuff going up beforehand. I'm not really sure what you think you're showing us here but, those cars are there year round..and I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Legacy
Anyone have pics of the finished Tent Facades? They better not, considering it's backstage. Havoc is the big black thing, but it's not black anymore. Catacombs is extremely nondescript. There you go... descriptions of the facades.
JDW
well.. pics can be obtained without violating the backstage policy... just need a telescopic lens. Eh but so close to the event... what the point. Edited September 9, 2010 by JWFearman
