Seems like it could be fun! It's nice to see we have a really "solid" theme this year. I don't know why, but it feels like 2005 and back for some reason to me. Sadly, still no 15 dollar islands of adventure add on in the tickets section :(

Does anyone think that hand in the intro to the website is the hand of our possible icon???? ( by the way he's smoking a cigarette)

No, because it actually looks like the hand has been separated from its owner and it smoking like it was burned off.

well well well a website update! Exciting isnt it ghoulies?

Gotta say I love the music on the site now; very twenties esque. So......now we await to see who our big icon will be.......an evil blackjack dealer, it looks like. Or maybe lady luck herself? Or maybe...just maybe....we'll be running from the house itself. Who knooows? ;)

Everyone is assuming that the Spade and the number 21 denotes casino or gambling, but that's not a definite. The number 21 and the Spade are an easy/catchy image to use for marketing purposes, but it does not limit the theme really. The use of the cards could denote taking chances and risks or fate dealing the cards of life...etc etc. Don't underestimate the depth of the event based upon the first teaser of the season. I have a feeling there is a lot going on here and we haven't even seen the tip of the iceburg. Trust me guys. Keep your eyes and ears open. ;)

Watching the intro again, I can see how you would think that "gambling" may be the theme, but I don't think we are going to see a roulette based house or a house of cards etc etc. I could see some sort of play on waging your life to experience the different themed houses. They could still use a variety of street, house and character ideas within the scope of waging your life against the house.

Cleaned up the thread. Please keep the discussion to a minimum level and use the speculation thread to speculate. Thanks.

Please be patient with me. I just got a smartphone on Saturday and I am learning how to use the hnn app. My question is why can't I see an update on the hhn website on my phone but I can see it on a PC?

I was having the same problem while I was on vacation. If you try to pull up halloweenhorrornights.com on your phone's browser it will only send you to a generic information sight, and houses are still up from last year. I haven't found a way yet to view the actual sight on a smart phone (ateast an iPhone, which is what I'm using)

For some reason its says Forbidden when trying to see the website. On the actual Universal Orlando page under Events and then Halloween Horror Nights it says "at Halloween Horror Nights 2011, the house always wins"
