Ras13 Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 You know, after seeing the overview video one thing stuck out and reminded me of something. The last icon we had, Lady Luck, we never got to see her casino. I'm hoping this year if they do bring back multiple icons, which I'm thinking this is more than likely going to happen, that they do some sort of icon house where we go through pieces of all their houses, and maybe we can finally see Lady Luck's casino in one of the scenes. It's just a hopeful thing for me, I personally didn't like Lady Luck as an icon but I thought she did deserve more than just a very bad half assed scarezone in the New York alley =/. I've probably let on that I'm less picky than some people on this site. Hell, if this year was just sequel houses to things we already had, I'd probably still go. Got nothing better to do around that time and my area's halloween experiences are non existent (no decorations, no lights on at houses, no trick-or-treaters). But I'm betting you there are people who probably have less taste than I do that thought last year's experience was less than they bargained for. The area up from the HP side of things had nothing going on and I thought I was in a part of the park I wasn't supposed to be in because of it. The only reason I'd go up there is because I had to for some of the houses. Something like that again wouldn't wow anyone at all, I'd think. Especially not twice over. Disaster is still filled with G&G (some props still there). It's being used by Dig Escape right now. My guess it would retain the same configuration for this year. I would be a lot like: Minus Nazarman's. I don't think the Parade and sprung's would be used. If they are, they would most likely close off the entire right half of the park. A lot of walking otherwise. But you have plenty of ss to use. Disaster can house another house if the remove train extended temp queue. Discovery center can be used again. Triceratops trail. I can't believe they changed the damn dates back after all the trouble we went through to be able to go the 1st week of October instead. Furthermore, now that the days have returned, our dates are on the back end cusp of the Rush of Fear Pass. Assuming that pass still exists, I hope they still keep it as the 1st 3 weeks of the event (including Oct. 4, which is a Sunday). Why would they put faulty dates on their website in the first place? hunnylvr Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 It's really good to be back reading all this conversation. I've been fascinated for the last two hours reading about 30 pages of commentary. I am hoping that some of the speculation here will truly end up being true - meaning NO MORE WALKING DEAD! I like AHS - while I am not sure I'd be thrilled with multiple AHS houses, I think that show has plenty to offer for some really GREAT houses. However, this being the 25th year, I anticipate some kind of tribute to times past. How could you not? If you're hyping a major anniversary, just bringing back Jack isn't enough. There has to be more. I'm already a huge nerd for this event, and I will probably be certifiably insane by the time the event actually begins because the build up is killing me, and it's only March. I was so excited, I was tempted to buy all my airfare today, but I'm going to hold off and start begging for extra vacation time to see if I can squeeze in a couple bonus Wednesdays! I'm sure this year will be the fastest October of my life. For those of you who live in Florida, be grateful you can go so often. Three long weekends is my max. <sigh> With all this speculation (and I have't read it all), can you just tell me if you think LT will be back for sure? There was mention earlier of 6 antenna arrays being built around the park for wireless internet. Hopefully they'll be used for something to do with LT. However, they also could be used for the Compound, some other new promo, or something that's not even related to HHN. Also... If you want a prediction, here's one... (my gut says) THE WALKING DEAD WON'T BE BACK THIS YEAR... There, I said it. Each season ends with plenty of unanswered questions and the showrunner seems like he's trying to pander to every possible demographic in order to get viewers. In the past teaser videos we've gotten, the footage of Jack was re-edited past footage of him. This looked brand new. Possibly a quick shot of this year's commercial? It's an awesome thought. So I'm not reading too much on the footage from 21 being used in it.Now Mike also said on twitter there will be teases, and without a doubt Jack is one of them.
