Halloween Horror Nights 24 Speculation

Recommended Posts

To be fair, I can also connect his first clue to Killer Klowns (if I really want to). The lyric, "Masquerade / Painted faces on parade" could just as easily apply to this scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7ClWsueo54

Also of note, there is this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1979370/

Listen, I am not saying I want KKFOS, I am just pointing out that we can connect a lot of IPs to the clues we already have. I am hoping at least one of Dr. Jimmy's clues is to an original, non-IP house and he is implying theme/setting.

He wasn't fully dressed without a smile either. And since his parents died (depending on the films you are speaking of) he was an orphan. And speaking of tshirts, Jimmy's "New York" shirt could be a clue hinting towards John Carpenter.

I just came across a breakthrough in speculation!

I'm watching 24 right now and this is HHN's 24th year. You know what that means...

HHN 24: Jack's back! This time, he ain't no clown! Jack Bauer would make an amazing icon.

I'm just going to throw my two cents into here (for performance #1).

Its a fairly common horror trope for the mentally deranged to believe a mask to be their own face.

I don't remember watching Halloween at all, any of the movies so I couldn't tell you if this was a plot point in the movies, but it can be easily assumed that Myers is fairly attached to his mask beyond wanting to keep anonymity.

Perhaps this ties into "faces on parade?"

Or alternatively it could tie into this quote: "I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply…evil."

Hey that sounds like Horror Night Fans 9 times out of 10 :P

I'm on Team "Screw the Walking Dead"

I'm on team TWD = The Walking Dude!

I can easily associate much of last season's imagery with The Stand.

Therefore, I'm going to pretend it's a Stand house, if TWD does indeed return.

Certainly a lot to consider in Dr. Jimmy's tumblr & with the blatant red herring pic at the end, you don't know exactly what could be a hint or just that.

Connections to AHS Coven, TWD, The Purge, Halloween, Alien(VS. Predator), Nightengales, The Boogeyman & a potential Dracula or Vampire house are all present.

Of course it could always be the hints in the other images that could also provide clues(scarezones/street experiences maybe?) Eyes Wide Shut, Geishas, Charlie Chaplin, A Hockey Face Off, A Chet Zar painting. Or then again there could be nothing at all behind these images, either way kudos to you Dr. Jimmy for making us all think.

Someone tell me I'm wrong:

The chemical above appears to be Methylamine.

This occurs in biological chemistry during putrefaction.

Putrefaction is a part of decomposition.

Rotting corpses = TWD

I would suspect you're right.

If/when TWD comes back this year, is this the swan song & we get AHS to replace it as the horror tv IP for 25?

Or maybe.......*gasp* two horror television IP's can exist at the same HHN 24 event. Might wanna ask Mayor Quimby....

From what I remember, AMC has a fair amount of creative control with Walking dead, even when its being used by Universal.

This was exactly why the first house was so tame, it functioned basically as a walk through commercial.

I suspect that Universal and AMC may be under a contractual agreement that Walking dead has to appear a certain amount of times, I'm suspecting that three is the magic number here but without REALLY being on the business end, I can't be totally sure.

I would look more into hint 3, though. There's a lot of horror related things that deal with chemicals, especially chemical weapons.

Perhaps it actually refers to Resident Evil?

Maynard's other band "a perfect circle" was featured on the Resident Evil afterlife soundtrack.

That and with the final movie coming out in 2015 or whatever, it makes sense from a business stand point, but I don't know.

Then again, this is just me trying to grab for things that AREN'T walking dead.

Clue 3

2qum81y.jpg

The words are lyrics from the song Schism by Tool.

Other possible paths for this clue:

The music video for Schism was directed by Tool's guitarist Adam Jones, who is also known for being a SFX makeup artist in a number of big name IPs including Jurassic Park, Batman Returns, Terminator 2, Edward Scissor Hands, Predator 2, Ghost Busters 2, Pet Sematary, and Nightmare On Elm Street 4.

It's been forever since I've taken High School chemistry, but I think there are also some molecules of Cadaverine (H2N(C2)5NH2) in the background ,which is also related to decomposition/putrefaction (if you couldn't figure that out from the name alone).

It seems that this hint doesn't have anything to do with a song like the last one, but the interesting thing to me is the "stain pattern" on that paper seems to form the shape of a skull.

I haven't really worked much with chemicals myself so I don't know if that's just a small detail or whether the chemicals have something to do with that.

Edit: I've run a google search, not finding much and apparently there's nothing on what these chemicals would do when combined, but I ran a google search for "iron oxide 5605" and found that apparently there's "green iron oxide 5605 pigment" on sale on the internet. This is literally all I could really find on it: http://asianironoxide.en.alibaba.com/product/502100806-212716072/green_iron_oxide_5605_pigment.html

Zinc oxide has a few interesting uses, a food additive apparently and it is also used to prevent corrosion in nuclear pressurized water reactors. It is also used in mineral makeup and various skin creams.

Bismuth subnitrate (or at least bismuth) has the dubious honor of chemically resembling arsenic and is used in cosmetics for eye shadows, and various other beauty products.

Talc is also used as a food additive, prevents rashes and is used in baby powder. As well as, again, pharmacy related products.

Wikipedia articles:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zinc_oxide

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talc#Uses

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bismuth

So far all of these have had to do with beauty products and the previous hint mentioned something about putrefaction.

So, I googled the chemicals and putrefaction together and apparently there are quite a few patents and old pieces of medical literature that mention them all.

For example "http://www.google.com/patents/EP0589047A1?cl=en

I can't really piece these together, as they constantly link to either medical books and or patents for something.

Whatever it is, it seems to "relate to the business of beauty products."

If all of this is related, my bets are on Resident Evil, but I'm too tired to do much of anything else with this stuff right now.

I'm just sort of hoping this has helped someone else out, because I don't really know where to go from here.
