I know right? Come on...with the budget Universal has, the Dollar Store is the mecca of decor stores. Rats, fine with 'em. Snakes, fine with 'em. Hell, even spiders, yes, fine with 'em. But if you put silverfish in a maze, I would go freaking bat shit crazy. Dude, relax. This event is a fun thing, and not something anyone should take so seriously. It sounds like you and I are arguing for the same point, so let's just leave it at that, lighten up a bit, and enjoy the rest of the pre-show! Very cool! Maybe instead of a circus tent over the whole park, they can put spider webs over the whole park. And a paper skeleton in every window! And don't get me started on silverfish. They will have to escort me out for trying to smash every last one of their "props." Don't say that or the next rumor we hear will be "Did you hear there is going to be a freaking huge spider web over the entire park? I hear they are buying it at the Dollar Store!" If they ever had a house called "Silverfish" I wouldn't be able to even step foot inside it. I can handle every bug and creepy crawly out there, but those things. You kill them and they disintegrate...WTF is up with that?!! why do you guys hate Silverfish so much? what's wrong with them? they look like prehistoric little bugs, I only saw some once when I got a book from a store, they were inside, but why do you guys hate them so much? what's wrong with them? are they dangerous? If you squoosh a bug, there should be evidence that it is dead...like a corpse. When you kill a silverfish, they disintegrate like they never existed. That is a huge creep factor for me and like Ryan said, their fast and they give me the heebie jeebies. I can deal with all other bugs but silverfish...those things are just nasty. I can deal with all other bugs but silverfish...those things are just nasty. lol, I would think roaches are much more disgusting, they actually carry dirt and nastiness around, and can make you sick, plus they look disgusting, I am not defending Silverfish because I don't really see them, but they seem to be easy to kill and they don't bite or anything, Spiders, like Brown Recluse Spider or Wolf Spider, (which we get in my house) those, Now Those are Nightmare creatures, they are faster than roaches, they are Big, they move like Facehuggers from Alien, and they bite, and if you are allergic they could kill you, your skin rots or something, some injuries the skin of the person looked like Jello... anyways, those, are really scary, if they made a house with those I would not go in it lol. maybe is because I don't deal with Silverfish that I don't mind them, why are they call that anyway ? But get me near one, and I go on a mission to get it before it gets me. I blame Arachnophobia (the movie). I wonder if and how many recycled costumes we'll see for this legion, since they kind of encompass just your average bump in the night thing? Wasn't there some earlier talk about costumes being tailor made to the individual? I wonder if that was just for specific things, or park wide. Or, will we actually be getting staples of Halloween, and characters that are directly influenced by the traditions and iconography of the holiday? Muhahaha I love the traditional Halloween trick or treater concept...but you put someone in a silver fish costume, THAT would be more terrifying to me than anything I've ever seen at HHN. At one point one of the actors with a bell came up to me and rang her bell, stuck out her hand and pointed at an unused ketchup packet at my table. Their interaction was completely unexpected, but really entertaining. Some examples include: - Pumpkinhead sitting down next to a guest and talking to her in character - The trick-or-treater in the fox mask squeaking her horn in another trick or treaters mask ear. - Pumpkinhead "scaring" the same trick-or-treater and her acting scared and running away Not only that, but they managed to mix some good scares in with the entertainment.
