  2. I really hope this is the house of the year, just to see people's reactions.

  3. And Canyon... which was the Nightmaze costume with a different mask. And Luck... which was an off-the-shelf green dress, wig and horrible mask. And Zombie Gras... which was old Mardi Gras costumes... I could go on forever!

  4. This made me laugh a little, no lie, becuase I broke out a rather bold dress from the closet yesterday for the occasion. We shall have to wait and see. Last year, "sexy" meant being a bat with cleavage. lol

  5. Honestly, if that's the case, I don't mind it too much....but I am still really BLUH on P&T being involved at all, though.

  7. As for me, not really interested in it as a street show; I just really want a herd chasing me right into the CDT. Or vice versa. That's two roaming SZ that would be overwhelmingly happy-making.

  8. We speculated several years ago (long before TWD) Deatropolis roaming horde fighting the CDT would be cool. Even throw in some victim tourists. Transpose TWD on that idea Viola!

  12. Purely speculative on my part, but seeing similarities to Thing rumors and TWD rumors, I'm also thinking first would be a TWD reveal. (Off topic, but seriously loving Un Chien Andalou you've got there)

  13. The Walking Dead is definitely an IP and if I had to wager a guess, I would say that Uni would be revealing TWD on Friday if they reveal anything at all (especially with Comic Con happening right now). We probably won't hear anything about the event theme until late August, closer to the full reveal. Isn't this about the same time The Thing was announced as a house last year?

  14. well college program has to work 5 days a week no? so it would be hard to be available, and giving shifts is not as easy, I don't know Unless you say you want to be Active Backup, talk to your managers and try to either change shifts or give them away, but, it won't be as easy oh okay so it was Firecrew that I heard, so Active Backup only works 5 days? and even then you might not even be needed? wow, it that is the case I would totally try to audition, do they tell you what days you have to show up?

  15. I have quite a predicament I have my audition coming out for Halloween Horror Nights but I'm Disney College Program too, I'm scared that my Disney schedule is going to interfere with HHN If they do want me as a Scareactor and it sucks because i really want to do HHN, and I dont know what to do any suggestion???

  16. The shark is located next the bigger plane prop. Its still there though. The "crowded room" was actually not as large as it looked. It was a bunch of dummies on either side of the path with only 2 scareactors in the scene, one on each side. As for seeing them, the whole house was designed for the "camera flash" to illuminate the zombies, in the case of that scene, it strobed...

  17. ^yes Museum of Horror was a dual run. One side classic horror, the other side modern horror. It was originally supposed to be a triple run house. Charles has the layout posted on his Designing The Fear FB page. (VIP lounge album) From what I know, the plane, shark & the other large prop pieces can only be shoved here/there, but not removed. So it can only have one house in the queue and the house has to be designed a specific way to accommodate the props.

  18. I honestly don't know if Disaster! can be used anymore. When they did two houses there... all those fake props were not in the queue. Back then there were real props that had price tags (you could actually rent them). However they were on movable shelving units.

  19. It's essentially two houses in one. It shares a common theme (A boat, a movie theater, potentially a pair of magicians) that shares a queue and facade but has two unique paths.

  20. Well the nurses have very tight form fitting outfits. The were so tight on the actresses in the movie they had to pretty much sew them onto them. If you watch the Path of Darkness (around 6:40 in the below video) ... He talks about putting the dresses on with velcro and zipties

  21. Let me try to say this as delicately as I can....seeing as your gender is listed as female under your avitar, and Wesker said that the exact size requirements was for SELECT roles, I'm hoping for some nice, tight, skimpy outfits for the lady scareactors Well, that or super tight outfits that have "zombie skins" on top so they can have detailed, graphic strips of prosthetic flesh hanging off the horde of Zombies I hope to be outside of The Walking Dead. Either one would make me a very happy (dirty old) man.

  22. After more conflicting reports last night it seems that it will be 7 houses after all. Apparently the call sheet had as house locations SS 22, 20a, 20b, Disaster, Tent 1, Tent2 and the Parade building. This last was assumed to be a typo as SS 33 was listed under house rehearsal times instead of the parade building. The 8th house confusion was that one of the new zone locations LG (whatever that means) was also listed with the house rehearsals.
