A lot of the lines jumped up in time pretty fast. Everything seems to have jumped up 15 minutes. Mellie_Monster Posted September 20, 2014 Share Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Again, I'll say as I said in another thread, save Dracula and Face Off for the end, per maze times on EP night and tonight, and having been through it twice, don't waste time if the line is longer than a 20 minute wait, and honestly, do it only if you've got time to kill or really want to see it. It doesn't surprise me that Clowns has been holding steady, everyone likes 3D, and it is close to the entrance to starway. Nothing went over 2 hours, which I can say is a success compared to last year both TWD and BS reaching 2 hours and 30 minutes at some point on opening night. If mazes are all about an hour at the most one year, we won't even need a game plan anymore and I'll happily do things at my leisure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That was my theory at least. I'm somewhat hoping Clowns holds steady at (one of) the longer waits, only because in a selfish way it draws folks away from AWiL and AVP (if you time it right). All in all I'll say opening night wasn't bad at all, I almost feel like EP was crazier than opening and I'm excited to see what tweaks and changes they make over the coming nights. Negative, AP pass discounts (from what Ive seen and read online and at the park) are only good online, however you CAN buy your friends tickets online using your AP. As far as I know, tickets at the gate are as they are price wise. Ive always started with TT and then moved to lower lot/back lot then filter to the upper lot. It worked well, as it usually does, thanks to maze placement like Clowns being where ED was (close to starway entrance/exit) it was popular all night long. The upper lot minus select scare zones seemed like a ghost town until about 11pm when Face Off (where HoH is) and Dracula (over near Despicable Me) went from 10-15 min waits to 30-45 min waits in the matter of a half hour and stayed pretty steady until almost closing. I did notice that the upper lot mazes, most of them anyway, are flanked by SZ which is kinda cool and gives a little extra OOMPH to walking out of mazes or to mazes.
