HHN XXI Speculation II

And that's three saying the same thing.

Now we can move on to something else...

EDIT - Moving on.

Street locations are listed as Hollywood, NY, Lucy, Shrek, and IFB.

No idea what IFB is.

I recall hearing somewhere that IFB can stand for "Invitation for bid." Maybe they haven't decided yet? Idk, maybe I'm just thinking about it too hard, but I can't think of what IFB means either.

I'd hazard a guess that Lucy = Plaza of the Stars. That's just too juicy of an area to leave dormant. It does sound like we're getting a show at Mel's, though... I'm very pleasantly intrigued... still only 5 zones, though. Will they pass the new show as a zone? (Doubt it...)

Also wondering how Chance is going to be shoehorned into this year. Seems like such a copout, but whatever. I'll be looking forward to Fate more than anything.

First of all, an "Arrival"-type show has not been confirmed, nor has any type of stage show across from Mel's. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Secondly, the "Lucy" location is less interesting to me when compared to "IFB" and the fact that only 5 locations were listed.

I won't rule out a show across from Mel's, but that area becomes a giant cluster**** whenever a show is placed there. The spot was last used at HHN for a show during '07 and the crowds were a huge logistical problem around the stage. But in any event, I'm sure that we will know what they have in store soon enough.

But what about the idea of the new show taking place on the Beetlejuice stage? I don't remember if it was said that Mr. Bushwood was coming back this year in the same spot he was in last, which was said stage. Although it would be much easier to theme a blank stage to a Vegas/Atlantic City casino backdrop for a showgirl show than it is to try and add to a dark, dank castle.

Yet going from six zones down to five is a bit awkward if it meant they weren't focusing their attention to more detail to go in for the other zones or houses. I'd bring up the 9th house idea again, but I'm afraid that dead horse is gonna come back and beat ME to death.

Kinda... Lucy is closer to the Park Entrance, so will probably be a scarezone as soon as you enter.

And IFB is probably International Fair Bridge, so either right in front of Simpsons or on the Bridge itself.

I don't see them doing a scarezone on the bridge, as it would not be really safe. In front of The Simpsons, maybe. I would think and hope it is down further more towards the Simpson Store.

Agreed what a nightmare. It would almost have to be a mini house to force everyone through in an orderly fashion.

Brushwood has confirmed he's not coming back.

Well that is good news, I love him but I don't see him working this theme very well. It was a great addition when the carnival came around and it was pretty cool he came back for the 20 years, just sort of a bon voyage. But now, I don't really see a magician working this event, except if it is that shock performer I've seen a couple times. He does a lot of very edgy gory illusions, not to mention topless women! :P

To be fair, a magician working a casino/gambling theme would've been perfect. But it's not happening, so that's that I suppose.

The Vegas style show would be an intresting change from a magic show.. I mean it was good last year but not 2 years in a row
