Legacy
AMC's "The Walking Dead" Returns To Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights With The Most Iconic Scenes From Series History ORLANDO, Fla., UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (June 3, 2016) – Don’t Enter…Dead Inside. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. This fall, Universal Orlando Resort is bringing back AMC’s hit series, “The Walking Dead,” to Halloween Horror Nights, propelling guests into the most horrifying highlights of all six seasons – all in one unbelievably terrifying haunted house. Guests will walk – or run – in the footsteps of the show’s cast of survivors, fending off packs of flesh-hungry walkers at every turn. They’ll step inside instantly-recognizable locations, such as the hospital from Season 1 where Rick awakens to a world overrun with the dead, the unnerving home of the Governor in Season 3 and the seemingly-safe refuge, Terminus, from Season 4. The experience will culminate with iconic scenes from Season 6, where guests will trudge through a decomposed sewer and try to evade the brutal pack of villains, The Wolves, after they’ve invaded Alexandria. Along the way, they’ll rush to avoid the bite of the show’s most memorable walkers – including some that have never been seen before at “Halloween Horror Nights.” Click here for a sneak peek of the terror in store for Universal Orlando guests. A popular “Halloween Horror Nights” staple at Universal Studios Hollywood, “The Walking Dead” has turned into an immersive 365-day experience inviting guests to step into a no-holds-barred zombie apocalypse. Brought to life with immersive detail, the new theme park attraction and “Halloween Horror Nights’’ offering is a collaboration with AMC and series Executive Producer and Director Greg Nicotero, whose special effects company, KNB Efx, raises the dead on the blockbuster TV series as well as for Universal Studios’ new permanent daytime attraction. Coupled with authentic walker make-up effects, sophisticated animatronic walkers, substantially more detailed set design and costuming, and highly recognizable props replicated from the series, Universal Studios Hollywood’s “The Walking Dead” attraction will deliver an uncompromised realistic environment that brings guests even further into the most watched show in cable television history. Please click here for more on “The Walking Dead” permanent attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. “The Walking Dead” is one of the most successful cable television shows in history. Based on the graphic novels by Robert Kirkman, its passionate fan base continues to grow and follow the story of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world filled with ferocious walkers. The show returns for a seventh season in October, enabling fans to relive their favorite moments at “Halloween Horror Nights” before watching all-new episodes. Universal Studios’ “Halloween Horror Nights” is the ultimate Halloween event. For more than 20 years, guests from around the world have visited “Halloween Horror Nights” in Orlando and Hollywood to become victims inside their own horror film. The streets of each coast’s event are transformed into highly-themed scare zones where menacing “scare-actors” lunge from every darkened corner. Multiple movie-quality haunted houses are erected throughout the event, based on anything from iconic slasher films to hit horror television series to haunting original stories. ForeverEvil1
So if this has scenes from all 6 seasons, THIS has to be the Grand Finale of Walking Dead, right?

criticalanalysis
Imagine how shitty it'd be for the actors who have to work it. "Hey, there's all these cool properties but you get the repeat boring fucking house."
Johnny Topside
Unpopular opinion incoming in 5,4,3,2,1.... this house could be good. I think it shows potential than just a house based on season 6. Also I'm thinking this is the send off for TWD...but I'm not holding my breath.

I feel like this HAS to be the send off....we said there's nothing else they could do with it after Mega House, which I guess was wrong with this. But what else can be done with TWD after THIS? Nothing, unless they pull some HOS ideas AKA ZCU 15 Laser Tag thing. And I doubt they ever want to do that, due to the upcharge likelihood. Besides, the idea of compilation house feels even more "endgamey" than a Mega House.
criticalanalysis
ZCU is also awful.
ForeverEvil1
For the sake of putting it down, the already confirmed scenes from the Uni Close Up Blog, with house / season they're from listed, which I'm placing in spoiler brackets, for the some that may care..... Hershel's Barn (Season 2) (Dead Inside) Governor's Walker Tanks (Season 3) (No Safe Haven) Terminus (Season 4 / 5) (Presuming the ending scenes from End Of The Line (Mega House)....) Stormy Forest (Season 4) (End Of The Line) Alexandria Sewers (Season 6) (New To This House) Alexandra / Wolves Attack (Season 6) (New To This House) Saviors Forest Scene (Season 6) (New To This House) (Probably the finale in all likelihood.....) Some scenes I PRESUME would be in this house that haven't already been revealed: The Hospital (Season 1) (Dead Inside) Woodbury (Season 3) (No Safe Haven) The Prison (Season 3 & 4) (NSH & End Of The Line) (Guess they would pick & choose for this one...) Supermarket with Helicopter (Season 4) (End Of The Line) The Church (Season 5) (The Living And The Dead) (Just because of "plot relevance", though I don't know how much that matters in this case.) Food Trucks (Season 5) (The Living And The Dead)
zombieman
Am I the only one excited to see TWD returning? Oh, wait. I'm not. Uni is making the decision to fly across the country more and more difficult; the original houses used to make it a no-brainer for me. Everything is booked yet not paid for this year. Sincerely thinking about cancelling. Either we have it already in Hollywood or I've seen it before in Orlando. ForeverEvil1
For some reason The Hospital wasn't mentioned on the close up blog. Though that was probably an easy to guess scene just because it was the first ever Walking Dead scene, in terms of both the show and the HHN mazes.

I think you didn't read his full comment, he said it's either coming to Hollywood or it's already be there in Orlando, and he's not exactly wrong. TCM: been done before on both coasts Exorcist: Coming to Hollywood TWD: been done to death Halloween: been done before on both coasts Krampus: most likely coming to Hollywood AHS: most likely coming to Hollywood You also should know he hates ip houses
