Halloween

Let me begin by saying hello. Long time lurker and I get all my info from this forum. Lots of knowledgeable folks here.

With that being said, I would have to say that this is definitely my most anticipated house this year. I don't see A&D botching this at all. I'm also curious to see how it plays out in a tent. I see myself going through this one several times.

It's a shame that this leaked early. I'm sure they were looking forward to this reveal.

Is this a leak? Geez how many leaks are going to happen lol? I mean I love early reveals but there is something about leaks that feel more disappointing than excited. Ah but I shouldn't be fussing, it's not like we didn't knew it was coming.

Anyway, I can see much potential in that sprung tent. If what I remember about Nevermore is correct then Halloween will be just like that, having a huge feel inside that small tent. I have a feeling I will love this house.

I'm gonna be grumpy and say that doesn't look like an official leak. To be honest, it doesn't matter really as it's a given that Halloween is coming. That picture just doesn't look like it would be a leak. It feels like we just saw a photo with Halloween and HHN on it, and said "Well, there's a photo with Halloween and HHN on it, that's gotta be a leak!". Maybe I'm being negative, or maybe I just REALLY hope that's not an official leak. Either way, real leak or not, I think the house will be awesome. With Halloween being one of Hollywood's best, I feel like we could do it twice as good (No offense, of course. You guys on the Hollywood side have done some mazes better than us, from what I've heard).

The fact that this came from @HalloweenMovies Twitter account makes me think it is, or was going to be, official. This is supposedly an official account. But I do use the term "official" loosely. Who knows.

But I agree, I'm just glad its finally happening.

I am going to guess its probably just the first movie. Although I wouldn't mind seeing some of the 2nd one in there just for the hospital scenes. That dark hospital has always seemed creepy to me. It would surprise me if they have enough room in the tent for both movies. I'm just glad its Carpenter's version and not Zombie's. No offense to RZ fans. I just didn't care for his remakes.

The thing is it was posted to their FB, Twitter, and Official page. Not only that they are going to do some promotion giving ticket away to the event. So... yeah a leak.

On top of the fact we've known for months it was coming and the facade being spotted while waiting for Diagon Alley to open.

Much like when the evil dead DVD release came with and Flyer for the house at HHN.

One good thing about it being in a tent is that they can blast the classic theme song outside while guests wait in line. Similar to how they played Johnny Cash for Afterlife.

I was just telling my family that once I hear that Theme song I'll probably die of excitement!

My friend shared the fb post the other day and when I tried to find the link it was gone that same day just hours after he shared it. So far this is the house I'm looking foward to! And just wondering if Halloween was at HHN Orlando ever?

a single scene in a monster mashup house I believe it was 2000 but it's been a loong time.

Halloween appeared in many of the Universal's House of Horrors/Museum of Horrors type houses that were at the Event from 1995 - 1998. Most of these houses featured dual runs with Classic Monsters in one and Modern Horrors in another. I don't recall exactly how many of these Michael was in, but at least a couple. He also appeared in the streets a few times around those years as well.

The first time he appeared at the Event in Orlando however, was in the very first Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure in 1992.

Hollywood's Halloween: The Life and Crimes of Michael Myers was executed (pun intended) well and featured scenes from a few of the films. There was even a nod to Halloween III with the Silver Shamrock commercial! I am not sure if Orlando uses peripheral characters in your houses, but Dr. Loomis was in a few of the scenes in the Hollywood's maze! Excited to finally attend HHN-O this year. Been waiting for Halloween's return since 2009.

All Nite Die-In in 2003 too.

That was the one I was thinking of. But, now that I think of it there was another. It had the skull pumpkin and music. Was a 3D monster house which was... 97? I don't remember Meyers though.

Doc you have better memory than I. Lol
