JunoSynth
This would probably be one of my dream line up ideas. I would still love to see another Western Horror house like Ghost House also. Houses A whole Sci Fi theme with a Alien Race Icon that tells stories of the Universe. Have like 2 IPs and 2 video games in there Houses 1. Alien/s (based on movie) 2. Event Horizon (Based on movie) 3. Dead Space (based on video game) 4. Black Eyed Kids (Urban Legends Series) House will take place in parking lot then moves to abandon outside movie thearter/something like that 5. ISV Kran Decks 1-2 (Unreal Video Game house) Spaceship horror house with level music and all. Interstellar Terror comes to mind 6. 70's inspired sci fi house (Star Frontiers RPG artwork/ Buck Rogers show/ Logans run movie inspired) Also add 70's type disco future music. 7.Zeta Reticuli (Typical Grey type alien house doing abductions and experiments. Maybe have a "Creatures House" type theme with southern type setting. End the house in their ship to their planet) 8.Alien Creatures house (Bigfoot/ Chupacabra/other wierd aliens. Maybe make it like a a secret Lab setting and creatures break lose at end. Kind of like Cabin of the woods. As for streets. I don't know I haven't thought that far ahead yet. I just thought of this stuff in last 15 mins. lol
foREVer56
Only properties i want are: American Horror Story to actually happen this time and based on season 3. Voodoo queens, witches and torture chambers in New Orleans. Yes. Please. Insidious. It looked great in Hollywood and i've wanted an Insidious house since the first movie. Then 6 originals. But let's be realistic, that's not happening. If we had to split 4 IPs 4 originals, my biggest wish is for the love of everything holy NO. MORE. WALKING. DEAD. Two years was bad enough. And while the second time spawned a pretty good house, it dragged along an entire takeover of the event by TWD and i don't want to see a single zombie for a few years at least. Two years in a row is stupid, THREE years in a row is unacceptable. Now that TNA's coming back, the Soundstages might be shifting locations. I don't if it's going in SS21 again or SS22, but if SS23 is able to be used next year along with 24 and/or 20, they should be fine. I would love for actual separately themed scarezones to come back. I normally don't pay all that much attention to them, but zones like Grown Evil give such great atmosphere and zones like 7 are just plain fun. I would love for them to add a ninth house, but locations are becoming less available making that virtually impossible, and on top of that they probably wouldn't spend the money on the budget, even though they make more than enough to justify adding another house. On the show front, they should bring back B&T as always and RHPS, have something in the lagoon, have another show in Animal Actors and either open Horror Make-up during HHN or put Chucky's Insult Emporium in there, but they'd never do that.
UniversalStudiosGeek
8/10 @ juno If you don't like IPs you'll probably not like this list. Ones I think should be a in a soundstage will get an SS (I don't know how many SS there are I think 5) Icon:The Director (IoA) & Usher (USF) Minor Icons/New Big 3: Ghostface, Michael Myers, and Norman Bates 9 Houses Scream: Terror in Woodsburo (Based on 1-3) -IoA Psycho: The Revenge of Norman Bates -USF Halloween: The Shape Returns (Carpenter version) [Hollywood's Halloween maze is my alltime favorite I'd LOVE to see to Orlandos try at the Franchise] -USF SS Universal Palace Theatre -USF SS Urban Legends: El Chupacabra [continue the series] -IoA All Night Die in: Take 3 (Sinister, Hostel, The Conjuring, Grudge) [if the director comes he needs a maze based on newer movies] -IoA SS Alien (based on 1st and 2nd) [i'd love to see the detailed Aliens and great translation of sets] -USF SS REC [one of the only movies in the past 8 years that has terrified me] -IoA SS Original based on Egypt -USF Shows Bill and Ted Rocky Horror Picture Show Magic Show that isn't raunchy Show parodying horror movies Chucky's Insult Emporium Edited October 31, 2013 by UniversalStudiosGeek

This right here ^...is exactly what I want. NO MORE WALKING DEAD! I will be so sad if it gets a third year...Like seriously its an overkill. I mean it already took over the streets this year who knows what it would do next year if it came back. I wouldnt even bother going in the house it if came back. Seriously like Walking Dead ruins having a strong theme/storyline and any chance of having an icon and it also takes away from us having great merchandise Im fine with IP Houses (except walking dead) as long as we get an actual theme/storyline and icon..I mean they did it in 2007 & 2009 why cant they do it now? Why do we have to copy Hollywood? Having themes, storylines, tie-ins, and icons is what really makes HHN Orlando different from any other Halloween Event in the world..Cause if you think about it there are some other events out there with IPs and detailed houses. I would like to see 2 or 3 IP houses and 5 or 6 Originals if they cant do that then at least make it even with 4 originals and 4 IPs..because having 5 IPs can be a bit of an overload and takes the attention away from the 3 originals. Next year needs to have complete DIVERSITY in the Streets! NO ZOMBIES. ZIP. NADA. The streets at HHN 23 were not entertaining and not scary at all. Seeing a few zombies walking around was a bunch of crap and extremely boring...I'd rather have TONS of actors and less extravagant props. I missed having streets like The Legions, 7, HHN 20 years of fear, or Fear Revealed. The streets are suppose to be interactive and fun...That wasnt felt at all this year. Also bring back Rocky Horror Picture Show (Its the best!), Bill & Ted, and maybe a 3rd show to chew up the crowds? HHN 24 needs to have... A Theme,Storyline, and Powerful Icon. A fair even amount of Original Houses and IPs/ or Fewer IPs and a little bit more of some Originals ORIGINAL DIVERSITY AND MORE ACTORS in the streets Rocky Horror, Bill & Ted, and a 3rd show. Gringotts Open. Unique Merchandise Insidious as an IP House Edited November 2, 2013 by hhnFEARfan

foREVer56
HHN 24 needs to have.... Gringotts Open. Oh god they need that open. That'd be an amazing crowd eater. No. This year's was great fun, but not again. There is no point in having a third year in a row with TWD in it. People will get sick of it. This year, for example, had WAY less people talking about/getting excited for TWD than 2012 did. Everywhere i went and heard people they were always talking about TWD in 2012. This year people were most concerned with Cabin/Evil Dead/AWIL/RE, so i think the demand for HHN to have TWD (in Orlando at least, cuz that house got to 170 min last night in Hollywood) has gone down enough to not justify bringing it back again. I hope so anyway.
Aaronupsidasium
Terra Cruentus Tribute A house based on SNL's skits with Merryville broken animatronics that come to life. The Exorcist (original movie). At the Mountains of Madness with Guillermo del Toro designing. A PsycoPath house in a sound stage with the motel and house in the facade. They Live 3D house. Chupacabra built in the Triceratops Encounter. American Horror Story (best scenes from seasons 1-3, must have Rubber Man, Bloody Face, Minotaur, dismembered Adam Levine, ect) Also, Bill & Ted moved to Toon Lagoon so the extreme pyrotechnics can return. Rikku
Dream line-up? I want an Icon and my dream icon is a creepy Asian mystic thing up in the mountains, that would be awesome to me. It is something I feel like hasn't been done that much before and especially not in HHN. Houses: -Icon House, and if I get my icon I would love it to be in the Himalayan Mountains or whatever and the mystic Asian feel. -Video Game House, this year have it be Devil May Cry/DMC (as a gamer the idea of video game houses is awesome to me and something I can get behind) -Urban Legend House, if it matches the amazing La Llorona in story and creep factor then I am all there -Originals, Gothic, Nightingales, Winter's Night, Dead Exposure sequel or something of this nature -Outer Space, nothing is quite like the great vastness of space and the unknowns it can bring -NO TWD, as much as I enjoy the show it has over stayed its welcome at HHN and now it must sashay away, and nothing else on TV is inspiring enough to me to become an HHN house. If people want a house based off Horror Story just for the Voodoo then I want HHN to come up with their own Voodoo House and I think they should as HOS Death Water Bayou was fabulous and I want HHN to take a stab at the Voodoo doll -Banshee/La Llorona-esque house, I love creepy ass women and they can't repeat La Llorona but I want another female strong house -IPs, there aren't any movie IPs that I am dying to see (that I can think off the top of my head, although I want video game IPs) but there is some that I probably haven't thought of that I would probably love SCAREZONES!!!! I want diverse zones with much more actors and littered through the entire park. This year was way to weak on the streets and need way more throughout the entire park, it felt way to empty and sad. Ande
1. Nightinggales 2: civil war (really loved the first house and waiting for another) 2. Leave it to Cleaver spin off 3. Extream House 3. Urban Legands: El Chupacabra 5. American Horror Story: seasons 1-3 6. (Completely original and unique house) 7. (And house with a different themed room from past houses. This house would be like a montage of the best HHN houses.) 8. Lastly i'd say another origonal house
Legacy
Eight of my original concepts... Is that cheating? In lieu of that: Horror Unearthed: Legendary Truth (Yes, a house based on the legions... in the graveyard... with LT on top of it...) The Horror of Lovecraft Catacombs: Quarantine (The CDC goes into the catacombs to eradicate the plague doctors... modern plague doctors versus ancient plague doctors.) True Blood (I want a True Blood house... and I don't care who knows it.) Midnight Syndicate (Why have we seen Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath, but not the true masters of horror music?) An "active" asylum-esque house (not Shadybrook where the patients have taken over... I want the guests to be the patients... maybe 3D?). Ghost Town: Return to Thunder Gulch (It's been ten years... it would be great to go back to one of their most creative and effective houses) Fatal Frame (If we're going to have a video game house, let's do something completely different)
JDW
Dream Lineup? that's tough Still want an entire event based on Literary works. In that vein: Willy Wonka (reimagined darker and I want it in Posiedon's fury, projections on the water tunnel for the scary tunnel) Something Wicked This Way Comes Love Craft house (Preferably Shadow over InnsMouth or At the Mountains of Madness) Shirley Jackson's - The Haunting of Hill house Hell house Salem's Lot The Shining Dr. Jeckyl and MR. hyde That's one of many lineups I'd like to see though. Cooger and Dark
Theme: Time Icon: The Watchmaker Houses: 1) Catacombs: Quarantine (taken from Legacy because I like it) 2) Nightingale's: Medieval Madness (during a castle siege, the people turn to the nurses for help...only to find the attacking army may not be their only problem) 3) Ghost Town: High Noon (during a hanging, the ghosts of past criminals arise to terrorize a western town) 4) Insidious: Into the Further (semi clone of the Hollywood version only incorporate more the idea from the movie that time does not exist in the Further) 5) H.R. Bloodengutz: Midnight Movie Massacre (sequel to Bloodengutz involving the master of the night taking his killing pattern from that of his favorite midnight movies) 6) Philadelphia Experiment/Nikola Tesla (I do not have a name but the concept would be based around either the missing ship stranded forever in time; see the comic RASL for a creepy reinterpretation of that fateful ship) 7) Army of Darkness (self explanatory) 8) Time to Die (a journey into The Watchmaker's twisted world where he tries to force people to function in a timely, precise manner and if they won't, he attempts to augment them with gears until they are more machine than man) I am not sure about scarezones but that is a rough cut of some of the house ideas I have. Sort of a Half-Life, spirits within, Event horizion mashup and each house to have a theme of an "oridnary world" place mashed together with a different facet of another dimension. Could give a new spin to boring and played ideas.

Could give a new spin to boring and played ideas. That would be my thinking for this house. In the comic RASL the ship reappears and most of the surviving crewmembers ended up being fused with the ship while the rest have gone insane and the government covers it all up. The comic lays the blame at the feet of Tesla, so I would find it interesting to see something along those lines. I realize I put either in my post and did not explain what my other idea was, but it really was more of a Tesla-centric alternate dimension thing, like JDW is suggesting. Let's face it, Tesla alone could probably occupy a whole house with his crazy science experiments. PeoriaBJJ
1) Aliens house - Geiger, Geiger, Geiger! 2) Sasquatch house - camp sites, trails, etc. HUGE monsters. 3) Predator - one of the greatest movies ever, set would be epic. Jungle, city, space ship, arctic. 4) Nightingales - like said above a Civil War setting would be cool. Or maybe the American Revolution. 5) Classic Uni Monsters - I know we just had this but I LOVE the classics and would love to see an all out house with all the originals. 6) Urban Legends - a compilation house. BEK's, hook hands, all that shit! 7) Stephan King house - Silver Bullet, Christine, etc. Different room for a different book. 8) Serial Killer house - cover the big one: Gacey, Dahmer, Gein, Ramirez, etc. I think having a narrator talking about their crimes while they commit them would be cool. Very voyeuristic. Like a zoo for serial killers.

hunnylvr
I have to say it - and echo others here - for the love of god and everything holy - NO WALKING DEAD! Nothing, not even a zombie FART! I'm over it. I've mentioned this before, but I'll say again - I was so sick to death of it after HHN 23, I stopped watching the show. If I see a commerical for it, I flip it the bird. So there you go.. Yes, I'm very mature. Aside from that - I used to be a huge original concept fan - and I still am. However, if they can do an IP like they did with Cabin and AWIL - I'm ALL FOR IT! Those were my faves last year, and they just impressed the hell out of me. We know they must have IPs, so go with: Trick R Treat, Halloween, and American Horror Story. I'm also very old school and would NOT be pissed off to see a house based on one of the Universal monsters again (Dracula or Wolfman being my preference). I'd lose my mind! Give us another urban legend house - LaLlorna was GREAT!! I'd take another creep factor like that any day Go back to originals like Gothic or Winter's Night - I still miss those houses terribly.. while the Afterlife house this past year seemed like it could be cool, it kind of wasn't. It didn't have the wow factor that Gothic or Dead End or Winter's Night had.. I'd take a sequel to any of those. A Legendary Truth house would be AWESOME! Talk about generating insane excitement!! Hell yes. Honestly, I don't have to be specific about scarezones other than, ahem, NO WALKING DEAD, and just mix them up. I'd kill for Grown Evil again though. That was such an amazing scarezone - goes down in my mind as one of my top 3 of the last 8 years I've attended.

HHNTROGDOR
My dream event for HHN Orlando is a two park themed set up. With both parks in operation it would allow for an increased amount of mazes, shows, and scarezones. My post will be divided up into a few categories Theme, Icons, Houses, Scarezones, and Online interactivity, story line and game. Theme - The Tagline for the event would be "Revenge Has Never Tasted Sweeter." The Back story of the event will revolve around the return of two icons that were thrown away and never used or allowed to show their true full potential. These two characters are Rebooted versions of Eddie, Jack's Chainsaw wielding brother, and Cindy Caine, The Caretakers undead little girl grown up. These two have teamed up into type of symbiotic relationship with one another with Eddie being the strong, aggressive, and dumb over protective pseudo father figure that the caretaker never filled in Cindy's life. While Cindy uses her own powers and abilities to control and take care of her murderous cohort who had been abandoned by his abusive older brother Jack for the Carnival of Carnage. These two have teamed up not just to help fill the void left in their very life's by those closest to them, but that they are out for revenge and to end the lives of those who left them. The event will feature all the past icons in some shape or forum with Fear itself hung dead from the entrance of The Studios and Lady Luck or her remains hung in-front of the Islands entrance from the studios. Both Bloody Mary and the Story Teller will be featured as Cindy's minor Icons while The Director and The usher shall be featured as Eddie's minor Icons all in their own team up houses. Now where will jack and the caretaker be you ask? Well they will be featured in their own houses getting truly what they deserve. Icons - Main - Eddie and Cindy Minor - The Usher, The Director, The Story Teller, and Bloody Mary House's - The Event will be split with Cindy taking over The Islands and representing the Original and Literary properties while the studios focuses on I.P.'s with Horror movie Buff Eddie at the Helm. Studios Houses - The Purge: Anarchy has come (Disaster Que) - based on the popular film franchise will you be able to survive the night once the american population has a lust for blood and they are coming for you. The Exorcist: Evil Is Eternal (SS) - Live through the terrifying events of The Exorcist and witness Reagan's very decent into evil it's self. Alien: Isolation (SS) - In space no one can hear you scream, especially when a xenomorph is on the lose and is not just hunting Ripley and her crew, but now it's stalking after you. Halloween: The Night Michael Comes Home (Parade Building) - Witness the events of the night that he came back to the small town of Haddonfield Illinois and he brought hell to their very door step. All Night Die In Take 3: Resurrection (Sprung Tent 1) - Walk into the remains of the old Universal Palace Theater and witness a satanic cult attempt to resurrect The Caretaker and The Usher into the bodies of two unwilling victims. As they are brought back from the grave walk through the scenes of some of cinemas most terrifying paranormal films such as Sinister, Insidious, The Grudge, and The Woman In Black. But that's the least of your fears once you have to face The Director and The Usher at the end of their house and they introduce you to their new rising star of horror Eddie!! Carnival of Carnage: Jack's Back!! (Sprung Tent 2) Walk into Jacks Carnival of Carnage and witness all his new freaks such as the Witch Doctor, The Minotaur, Zombie Trick R' Treaters, and Jack's killer clowns and Carnies. But once you reach the end of this freakshow something has changed and it's evident that Eddie and his chainsaw wielding friends have different plans for this twisted Carnival. As you exit you'll run into a tied up Jack yelling for his very life and the sake of your's as well as you face Eddie taking his full revenge on his menacing older brother one last time. Houses in Islands - Nightingales 2: Jungle Storm (Carnage Warehouse) - The Nightingales have returned and are bringing even more Havoc to the Vietnam war, but this time no one get's out this jungle alive. Scary Tales Return (SS) - Bloody Mary and The Story teller are back together to weave you into terrifying versions of our childhoods most beloved fairy tales including Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, The Polar Express, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Beauty and the Beast, and Jack and the Bean Stalk. Screamhouse: Destruction (SS) - Enter Screamhouse one last time and witness the cannibalistic crazies that The Caretaker has in his employ these days. But something wrong has happened to the Caretaker as his very house and his cohorts start bursting into flames, and once you reach the end of the house you will witness a father and his daughter reconnected in death and flame for one last time. El Cucuy: The Boogeyman lives! (Discovery trail) Enter into the lair of the Boogeyman himself El Cucuy, and witness his very destruction brought onto the children of a small mexican town below his isolated cave. Scarezones - The Purge - Infront of Disaster que The Walking Dead - In New York area Treehouse of terror - In front of Simpsons and MIB Trick R' Treat - In Central Park Treks and Foons return - Toon Lagoon Classic Universal Monsters - in front of the mummy Marvel Zombies - Superhero Island Havoc: Mission Recon - Jurassic Park Rest of the parks will be decorated in halloween themes including jackolanters and other halloween decorations. As for the Online Legendary truth will return to study all the old icons and to find away to rid the world of them once and for all. You will reveal clues through an online game that will hint at the houses and scarezones. Edited June 3, 2014 by HHNTROGDOR
