Halloween Horror Nights 26 Discussion
JunoSynth replied to Mark M.'s topic in Halloween Horror Nights 26
I agree here. I've never had a problem with the people the previous years but I've already been around several groups of drunk people this year that were really annoying. I even saw some girl go pee behind some fence while a little boy was watching her. I was like wow. Really? -
Didn't get around to it yet and I leave next week to HHN. I'll try to drop them off at Costco though before I leave so they can be ready soon after I come back.
-
I already bought my ticket so i guess it doesn't matter at this point if the review is bad. I might as well not waste my money.

It sounds like this year is going to be great!

So its a Cannon Elura 65. They can do that? I guess a camera store could do it too.

Oh wow i didnt realize how cool the billboard was that year. I dont want to take sides but I have to say that was the best year overall for me since going from 2004. Edit: critical maybe on to somthing due to this. I don't know. Maybe it's part of a reflection of how much passion and attention to detail they put into the event that particular year. I mean everything was good. The website, billboard, houses and scares zones. Even the entrance was pretty cool with that big screen of her. -
Oh yeah. Right before it gets dark too so you can see some detail in there. Edit: I will add though its not perfect due to It's my first time recording with a cam so its sometimes shaky and some parts out of focus. But I guess I've seen worse.

Cool I just pulled the cam out of the closet and I have like 1 hour and half footage of it. Including All of bill and ted show All of the parade Like 30 mins of borg people All of the scare zones. A few minutes of Queue lines from some of the houses. I need to figure out best way to transfer it though so may take a few weeks.

I have a lot of cam footage of that year with some of the scare zones before it gets really dark. Maybe i should post it to give a better idea how they looked. And I have like 15 mins of the borg people. Those guys where great with their witty comments. I really wish they would bring them back.

Looks like critters. LOL

2 things for me. 1. The cool glow in the dark cowboy sitting at the table drinking his whisky. He looked really cool! Please bring him back! 2. The creepy girls that were against the wall doing their weird possessed dance. I've never seen anything like that and haven't seen anything like it since. It just looked cool. I am so pumped for this house. The original is my favorite house of all time.

This year looks like it might be one of those special memorable ones for me. Like 2004 and 2008 -
Yep. I agree with the review to some extent. But Life is what you make of it. You can go to the event and be Debbie Downer and complain about how great it used to be. Or you can just accept it for what it is now and enjoy it. I choose the latter. Also who am I to say its crap. Some people might really enjoy the HHN of today. I don't want to take that from them by raining on their parade.

I would love LOVE a "The Return of the Living Dead" house with Tar Man and the music and all. Man would that be so awesome!

I just like female clowns in general so I'm all for giving Chance a Chance. Ah man Bloody Mary was one of the best years! -
Best of HHN Years
JunoSynth replied to RockinSight's topic in General Halloween Horror Nights - Orlando
2004 (HHN 14) - My first year and it will always be one of my favorites (Ghost Town is still the house to beat for me) 2007 (HHN 17) - The IP houses were really good this year. I was pleasantly surprised. TX Chainsaw: Flesh Wounds was really creepy and I don't usually get scared. 2008 (HHN 18) - Prob the best year overall for me. The majority of houses were good and most of the scarzones were good. This is the year to beat for me. -
What do you pledge for HHN this year?
JunoSynth replied to criticalanalysis's topic in Halloween Horror Nights 26
I envy you. My girlfriend who I really like thinks horror movies are demonic and will never go in a house with me at HHN. Anyway I pledge to try to go every year now since I can afford it. Even if I have to go alone. -
1. Ghost Town - (My fav house of all time) 2. Leave it to Cleaver - (One of the few houses I was truly immersed in) 3. Deadtropolis - (only zombie house I like so far) 4. The Hallow - (Best tent house I've seen so far.) 5. Intersteller Terror (Yes we need more original Sci-Fi!) 6. Creatures! - (Reminded me of "Redneck Rampage". Loved it!) 7. H.R Bloodenguts (I missed it but it sounds good and exactly what I like!) 8. Scary Tales - (Creepy fairy-tales done right!) 9. El Cucuy - (Looked like a good house from vids I saw) 10. Revisit some 2005 houses. (I missed that year and it looked good)

This may have already been mentioned but I would love a "Ash vs Evil Dead" House.
