DTH316
I'm trying to remember where that Fear Factor building was. Could've sworn I remember being persuaded to enter into where the VIP lounge was to do that show.
Trevler
Its the room across the little walkway from the pub on Baker Street. Its been the breakroom for the scarezones in the area since 2006. I wonder how theyll do breaks this year.
electro_killer
Super excited for this maze. I loved La Llorona both years, and this has the potential to be just as good if not better. And I agree about that kids party scene, it sounds morbid as hell, and I cant wait to see it.....So I can run. lol.
Grindhousehero13
besides the morbidness I can't wait to seee Murdy's Cameo!
TeenagerFromMars
Murdy via Twitter "We decided early on in the concept phase that El Cucuy would not only steal and eat children, he takes souvenirs from the children he visits There's a room in his lair we call "The Trophy Room" Our prop team did an amazing job in that room...its out of control! Even the curtains between scenes in El Cucuy's lair are themed...look closely at them and see what he made them out of????" This maze just got more intense. What do you think his curtains are made of?

ferox
That made me shutter. In other words, that would be amazing. Ugh...just imagine the texture. Jesus Christ.
Freak
Someone just told me that El Cucuy is not going to have much of a facade. If there is one at all, this should be the weakest facade of all of the mazes.
DTH316
I think they used hair for hanging down things in the Grudge maze. Looked creepy as hell (sadly, only one of 3 mazes at Knotts I haven't gone through since 2001 - the other 2 being Beowulf and Trapped).
DTH316
And nothing can be as bad as the Silent Hill facade... That is, unless Evil Dead is literally just trees. At least SH had a sign and a car out front haha.

the ghost
<----- Forgets about Horrornightnightmares for like, a year, looks at concept art, is kinda genuinely freaked out. I can expect how Zombies will act, I've seen Evil Dead and Insidious, Sabbath will have metal playing I'm sure which isn't scary to me, but this... this is fucking MORBID! I can't wait!
Grindhousehero13
yeah did'nt it say somewhere that the facade was gonna be a theater?
DTH316
Yeah, I remember that too. I imagine there'll be a marquee, the ticket booth used for ACGTH (which I believe was the booth used in the facade for Hostel but I could be wrong), and then a basic entrance. ferox
From Theme Park Adventure... The exterior facade of El Cucuy will be an old Mexican movie palace at @HorrorNights
Grindhousehero13
well now that, that's settle.... anways this may be the most disturbing maze since TCM: BIB.

Freak
I'm liking how morbid, disturbing, and gruesome this is sounding. I feel like over the years, HHN has felt a tad more cartoonish and less serious (From the SZs, Alice Cooper, and UMR), but this maze is helping bring the morbidness back. I'm liking what I'm hearing.
Grindhousehero13
well to be honest the most morbid mazes we had were Asylum back in 06, TCM: BIB, and Hostel, The Thing and La Llorona were disturbing, like you said everything else was either cartoonish scary(HOTC, Alice Cooper, MBV, and just basicly everything in House Of Horror) Nestolgic scary (NOES, Friday The 13th, Halloween) or more action-y/suspensful scary (The Walking Dead, Silent Hill, SAW) this is the first in my opion that is litteraly both disturbing and morbid and thats a good thing.
