DTH316
Why does that picture remind me of Freddy........?
Ridesandstuff
maybe its because they did something similar with Freddy for 2008's scarezone? Didnt they have him disguised as various things like a doctor, policeman, and even a couple? Edited August 27, 2013 by Ridesandstuff
Freak
I just realized something.... The fans waned to see an original maze....they got their wish. The GP wanted to see Freddy back...but they sorta got their wish. We have reached a creative compromise.
JillValentine
I didn't realize "shapeshifter" translates to "put on funny disguises that don't disguise at all". Lol

ferox
You mean the kinda vaguely alien humanoid versions of him? Yeah. I can see it.
DTH316
I'm kinda thinking they should've left his look to be a surprise ala The Thing in '11. That was more movie related, but still... he looks the same in every pic. Kinda bums me out. Should still be great though.

DTH316
Yes! Kinda reminds me of that scene in Signs with the kids screaming cuz they can see the alien by the garage. And in my opinion, that's the scariest scene in any film EVER.
ferox
Well, we haven't seen all of his designs. There is something deeply disturbing about unassuming and/or trustworthy people turning out to be a monster though. Gives me the heebie jeebies.
ZackT
I can go ahead and say that the Cucuy I am cast as isn't there, so there are still surprises to be had. Edited August 28, 2013 by ZackT
Grindhousehero13
the sack of children kinda cemented what I was thinking, this is gonna be a gruesome maze, so stoked for this one!
TeenagerFromMars
Reminds me of the drowning kids scene in La Llorona. Any time kids are involved it just ups the intensity.

EXCATLY, seriousily that disturbed and freaked the f**k out of me. yeah agreed, I loved the way they approuched it.

DTH316
I think it'll be by Mel"s diner so technically in between. I'm just wondering where the exit will be.
Freak
I think it'll be by Mel"s diner so technically in between. I'm just wondering where the exit will be. It's going to be French Street. Murdy said that maze will go into the former Fear Factor audition building. I saw the construction go into the building with a brick wall leading in there. Am I the only one who's excited to go in this maze just to go inside a building that most/all of us have never been in? I don't know, there's just something about having the maze lead into a building that adds on to excitement and anticipation; it gives a further sense of mystery.
DTH316
So its crossing the street and Cirque de Klownz will be a dead end? Edited August 29, 2013 by DTH316
Freak
So its crossing the street and Cirque de Klownz will be a dead end? It won't. Murdy said on Twitter when this was announced that it would go from Mel's, Persian Square, into the Fear Factor audition building. Said nothing about crossing the street. If they did, I think they would have done so by now being that the event is now in a matter of mere weeks.
