SPOILER FREE VERSION OF MY REVIEW:: The *beeeep* was awesome, so was the *beep* as well as the *beep* i didn't really care for the *beep* but thats ok because the *beep* will get better in time, oh and the *beep* was SO epic you cant miss it!

not attempting to read anything but.. I'm very surprised that not only did many people make it through all the house but that all houses, for the most part, are getting great reviews. That is the first time in a lng time I've heard of EP going off so well. Sounds like a great year.

HHN 23 REVIEW:: CAUTION:: SPOILER ALERT:: Streets: Much better than last year. the Walker's seem to have a little more flexibility with what they can do. the Barn scene is AMAZING, it's kind of like a "mini-house" which is a nice touch. Look for the truck. The walker pickup/dropoff truck was an awesome experience to witness. I also REALLY enjoyed in New York the Helicopter, and how the walker's flock to it. There were points where I felt there weren't enough walker's through the park, hopefully this is something they fix. I would also like to see the chainsaw people throught the park, and not just by MIB. The deer scene is awesome... Houses:: Now, with Houses, I was not anticipating much, with us having FIVE IP's this year. My expectations were Low, and I am glad I was met with what I was, because I left almost every house saying "wow". Cabin In The Wood's:: This is the house I was LEAST anticipating. I hated the movie. I however, LOVED the house. The effect's were great. Seeing Jack was awesome (Keep your eyes UP.) I loved how we started in the cabin, but quickly transfered to the "lab" and the Purge scene was awesome. LOT'S of Gore, which was neccesary, and epic. It wasn't Gore for the sake of gore, but rather with purpose. 8/10. Resident Evil:: I loved the movie's, but don't play the games much. If you watched the movie's you will recognize the Characters....for the most part...but it is evident that this house is mostly based on the games. The monster's were awesome within the house. The dog however, felt to unrealistic, it was easy to tell that it was a puppet someone was controlling. This was probably my least favorite IP House out of the 5, yet I still really enjoyed it. The "Pause" room is really awesome. 5/10 American Werewolf In London:: WOW. Just wow. The puppet's/animatronics are so lifelike...I was left speechless after this house. It was EPIC to see. I went through this house 3 time's, and still, wanted more. The animatronics are AWESOME. They nailed the scene's from the movie. I walked into the slaughtered Lamb and felt like I could order a pint. The subway really struck fear with the shadow on the wall, the XXX Theater was amazingly done. Everything about this house was awesome. 8/10. Evil Dead:: If you like the remake of the movie, you will love the house. It SCREAMS Remake, Right down to the tree-rape scene. When I walked in and heard "Your all going to die tonight" I was in Love instantly. It was the most amazing sound I have heard from a house, mainly because it's my favorite line in the movie. The acting was great, and they did a great job of telling the story of what happened in the movie. You REALLY felt like you were in the movie... the pages on the wall feel really gross...like skin that has aged, it was awesome to feel. Hearing famous lines... (KISS ME...KISS ME) epic. This is one of my favorites this year. 9/10. Havoc Derailed:: I was a huge fan of the original, so, i had high hopes for the return. They were easily met...but I would like to see the actors bump up the level of energy. I can see this winning house of the year, if the scareactors turn it up a notch. Fantastic set design's all the way through... 7/10. Afterlife:: I think this was my favorite use of 3-D in a house I have ever experienced. I generally don't like 3-D houses, But I was satisfied with this. The tunnel will be found here. Also, (I missed 2011, but) I was told that you see some masks from 2011 in this house. The laser's on the walls are cool, as are the see through glass in the Headlines room. 7/10. La Llorana:: Not much I can say for this house, it's really something you have to experience. I went through it all by myself, because the park was dead. It felt a lot like a mashup of Catacombs, spawning, and something new. You could tell a lot of prop's were reused, and repourposed, but that was ok. It's a neat house, but sit's kind of low on my top list. 5/10. The Walking Dead:: I think very few people were pleased with this return...Yet, after seeing the house, it's a MAJOR improvement over last year. The set's are FANTASTIC..and you see a LOT of familiar places, and even a few familiar faces, which is cool...but I still feel TWD is to much of a drama. I still really enjoyed this house, and I really enjoyed the design. It was decent for what they had to work with... 5/10. Overall, I am VERY pleased with the lineup, my expectations were met, and I can't wait to see the level taken up a notch in each house, to make this event AMAZING.

The park looks nice and dark this year too (especially with no Transformers Construction lights mucking up everything) :-)

So not wanting to post a review yet, but major improvement on last year. My favorite of the 4 I went through was American Werewolf...one if the absolute BEST houses I've seen at the event. Streets are a major improvement from last year. The event as a whole is a huge improvement from last year. Can't wait to see Resident evil, evil dead, havoc and cabin in the woods.

Definitely a massive improvement over last year, and can't wait to experience some of these scenes in person. The bad masks are there but there is also some pretty good makeup that looks believable. Love the added scenes all over the place, which I'm sure this video didn't capture all of. Some areas definitely need more walkers but the theming is spot on like Clear. Also shows full video of the opening scaremony and the walker van. If you click on the pictures, it shows the facades of nearly every house and shots of the Cabin In The Woods que video.

If you love the game your going to be in heaven. The sets are wide! I was under the impression their would be more monsters and less zombies. Though I felt there was a bit too many zombies. The pause room is exactly what you think. Nothing more and nothing less. It is a short maze. I do believe in time the monsters will work on their timing and maybe a fix here and there. Leon and Nemesis were awesome looking.

Yeah the only problem with that is the main characters look so different in the comic that most people would be confused at what they were looking at. Which would kinda defeat the object of doing it in the first place. Can you imagine hearing the GP constantly asking "Why has Rick only got one hand? Who's the bald Asian guy?". The only way around it is AMC pay the actors which would mean AMC charging HHN for their use which means less budget to be used elsewhere. It's a shame but personally I think that house last year suffered due to lack of scareactors not lack of characters.

my HHN personality's often a "lone wolf" type. in the fear factor dept. I'm rarely scared of the event, although there have been quite a couple of random moments where I do flinch every once in a while.

It's team members attending the event that get fired... And yeah, typically about 10 scareactors will quit before the night is out.

The Skool... 1 room Thats a tough question. 8 is up there with lowest room count. But I heard the rooms are huge so it probably balances out.

Lewd, raucous, billigerent, drunken, or otherwise unsavory, over the top, behavior. Last stat I heard on it I believe was an average of 80 people each year.

My HHN personality is being a little bitch, XD Whether the scare was good or not, i still freak out. Just cuz i have so much adrenaline and what not, its awesome haha. I also think HHN is the only month out of the year where my life is somehow perfect in every way possible. Thats them HHN gods watching over me ;D lol But at HHN im also the Pissy dude, Fuck with the scareactors, and we're gonna have a problem. I HATE PEOPLE WHO MISTREAT THEM. Yes they're wearing a mask, or maybe you're some big tough guy who doesnt get scared. But dont get all up in the actors face, or laugh at them, or try to look cool for other people. It just makes you look like an asshole, and you ruin the experience for other people. But yea, at HHN im a happy little scared-y cat.

"That's what she said" jokes aside... That is so much bigger than I thought it was peeping through the trees. That facade I think is the biggest tent facade yet.
