  1. The tank top guy is from the purge! The other two in black are modern vampires, like from cirque du freak
  2. They will not pull them. That's a fact. I'm working the zone and I have been told while big photo opp areas, they still will stay in the zone no matter what. If anything come Thursday they will be establishing a way to minimize some big photo crowds around them.
  3. If anyone has any photos of me as the Night of the living dead zombie in All Night Die Inn, that would be amazing! I'm the one in the cardigan!:)
  4. We have about 30 in our zone. A lot of the classic monsters actors have been moved to New York so we have fire crew coming in. Also love this photo so much!:3 30 in total as they told us.
  5. The location for our zone, All Night Die INN sucks. We were suppose to have Mel's but they have the stage. It's the damn crowd flow.
  6. Hey guys! I am a scareactor in the zone! In regards to Freddy and Jason, they are coming, we have small issues and costumes problems but they will be here hopefully by Thursday. But I need to say in regards to recycled monsters from 2009, the only ones we have is the thing, the cheerleader, the strangers, the exorcist, and Frankenstein's suit. We were told this. The rest of these monsters are all new however some have been seen in houses like House of Horrors. Just wanted to let you all know! Also yes the zombies here at The night of the living dead zombies!
  7. The time for HHN is back! This is my 6th year of going and I can gladly say I am very impressed this year. Bringing some of horrors biggest names to life, along with original horror that has never been done before, this marks a year to truly remember and begs a special question. But let's run down all the entertainment! Houses 1. AVP: This house is what I like to call a kickass action packed house! Though it is not the scariest, I can gladly say after going into it 3 times, that this is on my top HHN houses! Right there with AWIL. It seems houses with puppets and based on cult movies always take this spot and I can see why! The action in this house, perfect! The effects and puppets, creative and menacing! The feeling, the best nostalgia 80s feeling ever in my eyes, from a early 2000s kid! Great overall house! Halloween: While I said AVP wasn't the scariest house this year, I only said that because that award goes to Halloween! Truly this house was the missing slasher Orlando HHN needed, seeing how we got Jason, Chucky, Freddy, etc, and he has finally came home. Being a fan of the original Halloween, this house is another favorite. So much detail in what is usually a small house area. It really beared a soundstage feeling. This may be the only house I did once, but it was worth a trip I'll never forget. Dracula Untold: This house really has grown on me to be honest. I don't know what it is. Maybe the gothic spirit, maybe it's the actors and how crazy some can get, or maybe it's that it's a soundstage house. Not much to say on this one, but I honestly enjoy this one and find it a fun badass looking house. Roanoke: While I did like this house the first time in, after three times, this house has kind of become more eh to. Don't get me wrong, the setting is a good new one, the use of the wendigo is clever, and it is a gory house, but I am just not into the colony idea in general. I honestly would have loved a jungle canibal house(please 2015 HHN) but this house is still a good ride. Side note, the music is actually not bad! Dollhouse of the Damned: What the **** was that? I kept saying that in this house. It was a damn great house, but a strange one. I loved the details in here, along with the actors, but this is a plain disturbing house, smells, sights, and idea in all. Personally my favorite original house in a while, or at least close to it, next to another great original idea! Giggles and Gore: The next original and my first true all clowns house for me at HHN. While I can't say it's the funniest house, although it's dark humor done right, this is a nasty, great energy, type house. Lots of creepy little details and high energy all over. Clowns in general never get me, but this house may have changed all that. And yes, there are Jack references here. From Dusk Till Dawn: Is it wrong to say that I love this house? Maybe I am just a sucker for the movie, but this house felt crazy fun as well. The house really has so much energy in it and very high level at points for HHN Orlando, front guy and some bloody girl . The finale itself was a great reason to just go in! Shots being fired and truly a epic finale. Another IP done right! The Walking Dead: It seems every year this house goes low on the list, even though I didn't rank houses in a special order this year, but I will say, this house did good. Not great or amazing, but good. I think this is due to the long line which I find ridiculous, but the house really was an improvement. The Big Spot was a great big scene, along with the finale, but the rest, just seemed long and dragged on. Maybe walkers aren't scary any more, or maybe it's that this property is officially over used. Please HHN let this property rest. Or at least show us true damn human characters. Scarezones Purge Anarchy: The biggest and most hell like scarezone done by HHN ever. A great hell area where all out chaos is. Chainsaws, dirt bikes, guns, fire, auctions, trucks. It's everything a purge could be. The way the actors mix in with the crowds is a fun crazy time, and the actors are improving every night. A great IP scarezone! Bayou of Blood: From opening night, to my third time going, this scarezone has grown and become a favorite. The witch doctors and voodoo queens make this a fun zone to enter and at time, very morbid. The only main issue, which may be temporary, is the show went missing. No more sacrifices?! Why? Universal let's keep seeing it. Face Off: Basically 7, with Face Off monsters, and actors. Eh. Fun, sometimes, creative, not really, good photo opp, yes it is! Masquerade: While it is a small scarezone, it's a colorful one! The actors are becoming more aggressive, but I wish this scarezone was somewhere else in the park. Shows Bill and Ted: Hands down a funny show this year and really stabs at Disney! I recommend you all wear a magical tracker! Overall HHN 24. This looks like for me a home run from the last 2 years. This years not only features bigger horror names, but all the houses, even TWD, leave you with a feeling of badass and wanting more. Same goes for the scarezones. This years HHN left me with one question leaving, what other classic movies can HHN do next?! This year takes the cake for me. While I really am sick of TWD, Face Off seemed force, and is it bad to say RHPS is done for me, AVP, Purge, Halloween, and From Dusk Till Dawn are IPs I love seeing and makes me curious what else HHN will do next!
  8. This house and halloween are my most anticipated houses yet. I feel like a great scare we could see used is people attacking us with facehugger masks and maybe hand puppets coming out of bodies of the chestburster. I also think we could have air effects being used as if spears or blades are flying right by us. And yes! The Alien queen would be a the cherry on top!
  9. Any word on what IPS we may see now? I keep hearing the list changing all over
  10. Wish List Houses based on the Predator series, dawn of the dead, or maybe a hole Child's Play series house that captures keys scenes from each film! Since AWIL happened, seems like anything is possible now
  11. AWIL: 3 RE: 4 CITW: 3 Havoc: 2 TWD: 1 AL: 1 LL: 1 ED: 2
  12. The time for Halloween Horror Nights has finally begun and HHN came back with a blast! Following last years event, which fell short due to extensive wait times, bad marketing choices, overwhelming construction and budget cuts, and the idea of just slapping the name "The Walking Dead" onto everything, I really didn't have high hopes for this years event. But following the reveal of 2 IP's I have wanted to see for a while, my hype grew! I hit the opening night and here is a house review! Spoilers may come out and opinion may change following more nights. Houses 1. An American Werewolf in London: Seeing this was one of the first horror movies I ever saw, this film has held a special place in my heart for 7 years. Now, Universal has finally brought it to life, and I may regret saying this is the long future. Best HHN house is my 5 years of going! Some of the great highlights included the attack on the moors, the transformation scene, and anything with the Werewolf. As said in many reviews, and I completely agree, the wolf puppets. The cast did great, the setting was perfect, and the ending was a great finale for a soundstage. This house is amazing 2. Cabin in the Woods: The Less said with this house, the better. Such a realistic house that made me feel like I was in the movie. Some scenes we're actually scary, manly in the cabin itself, but the purge. Man o man, this was crazy fun and gory! Loved seeing the house and all the many creatures, also look for some past HHN characters near the end! 3. Evil Dead: I loved the remake, and this house rocked. It was gory fun, scary at moments, and had a good voice over through the house. Not much more to say, just be ready to be shocked. 4. Resident Evil: Yah I know people are rating lower on there list, but like AWIL, this had a special place in my heart. As a huge fan of the series, manly the games, this how's made my dreams come true. Yes I could say the lickers were a bit odd, nemesis only coming out once, and the hunters were odd, but the feeling of the house was all there. And I got add-least a good scare from the machine gun fire. I think this how will grow over the events run. 5. Havoc Derailed: As a big fan of the first house, I really liked this one. The beginning was slow, but it enjoyed the ending when the train crashes. Lots of gun fire and light flashes. What made this house lower was how long we waited. This was not worth almost 2 hours to get in, but that may just be the disaster que. Worked good setting wise, and loved the pumping power from the que video. 6. La Llorona: Got to get into this one early as part of AP night. It was a ok house. Scare wise it was good and setting wise. I think it's just the approach they took that felt off. I would have maybe seen this as a SS house. But it was a great setting and the sounds used made this house a good one. Hope to see it grow some more and I will probably take it on more times. But like I said, the sounds really sold me in this one. 7. Afterlife: O boy. This house was a mess, but no terrible. 3D sucked for me and really, it was too dark. The story was also a big mess. Also lots of old costumes from The Inbetween and seemed like some stuff from Penn and Teller. But I would hit it one more time. 8. Walking Dead: At the moment, due to 70 minute wait times . So I will add a review later on. Scarezones Really rather than review each of these TWD areas. I should just say they were all great in there own right. The walkers really blend in great with the crowd and the "survivors" interaction is crazy to see. So many great street props such as the tank and the barn! I felt like TWD invaded Orlando, and it was done right. Really fun and crazy, but one problem struck this experience. The Big Event Issue: This year, I noticed on major flaw. It was not the amount of IPs, or lines, or anything like that. It was lack of TV show survivors. No Rick, Carl, Glen, Governor, or even Daryl. Not counting his crossbow. I really wish universal could use them. And I feel like if universal using TWD more, feature human characters more. Overall this was a fantastic year, so far. Since I have a FF pass, I will experience this event a lot more and excited to see how houses evolve and grow along with the streets. This year was great. 9/10
  13. O God yes. I think that would make my dad. One handed rick, riot gear, kill them all, governor, shaved glen. The best looks yet
  14. I wish AWIL had its own shirt. Would have been great instead of La Llorna. But happy with everything. Any possiblity of Umbrella/RE stuff like hoodies or hats
  15. Where did they confirm this, because I'm really happy to see chainsaws back in action. Also is it possible we could see them in riot gear or something?
