Eh, you have a point there. Also if you don't know how to translate the goosebumps books into a haunted house can i do it instead? (Just Wondering)

DOOM IT YOURSELF

Let's talk about the story behind this house. Namely, why I can't decide on one. It's because, to be honest, both a yard haunt with a dark secret and a rushjob from Development seem like good ideas. But, since TMT chose the yard haunt, I guess I'll go with that. Besides, just a change of facade and some of the elements, and you have the Rushjob variation.

Your kindly old neighbor loves Halloween, and every year he puts up a display that takes up his entire yard. Seeing you as a potential apprentice, he decides to show you his methods for making the dummies so lifelike, the gore splatter so perfect, the animatronics so unnerving. But some things are best left to the imagination, and you refuse his offer. Now, he's going to make you an important part of a Halloween tradition, one way or another.

ROOMS:

  • Facade: The front yard. Zombies are rising from the grave, vampires are having a wedding, a band of skeletons play, and Death watches from the rooftop. The queue goes through the yard, and guests enter the garage door.
  • Garage: The neighbor greets guests, and offers to show you the ways of the haunt. There's a workspace with some store-bought props, a replica of a horror movie car, and a door that goes to nowhere, but every so often a muffled voice will bang on the door, but be shut up by a shotgun blast.
  • Enter the Workshop: Guests enter a basement. In the basement, are some backdrops. Near the end of the hallway, a bound and gagged victim runs out, only to be caught by a worker.
  • Dummy Making: Guests enter a larder, where a few corpses turn out to be not quite dead yet. The guests then head to an area where the "dummies" are prepared, placed in costumes, or torn up for a Frankenstein's Monster. Then they enter a dark room where corpses hang, and men in coveralls spray a preservative agent on the corpses, filling the room with a horrid chemical smell. The coverall guys will attack through the fog.
  • Detailing: Workers work on setpieces and backdrops, not really bothering to attack guests. However, in the next room, a victim is tied up, and bled for blood. Guests then enter a room where blood is spread on props for that last bit of detail, where they are attacked by a worker with a squirt gun. Guests then enter a costuming room, where a technician tortures a man to apply blood to the costumes.
  • Pumpkin Carvers: A small room where some younger workers carve Jack-O' Lanterns. One of them will lunge at guests with the carving saw.
  • Animatronics: Guests enter a cramped, strobe-lit room filled with corpses rigged to machines that make them act like Halloween store animatronics. A few animatronics will lunge at guests. Guests then enter the actual animatronic workshop, where a few corpses are cut up and rigged to make them look like animated groundbreakers that reach for passerbys. A man with a circular saw will attack.
  • Skeletons: A smell of bleach eminates from a vat where a coveralls worker dumps corpses and pulls out skeletons. A nearby worker cobbles the bones together.
  • Finale: Guests go through a warehouse of old "dummies" and broken skeletons, where workers and scaracters will try to kill the guests. At the end, the neighbor bids farewell, and promises that he's not done with you - "See you next Halloween!"

There would be more scares than I listed, but plenty of atmosphere rooms. The music would be stuff that would play at someone's workspace, played through radios and speakers. Heck, it could even play ads and bumpers like an actual radio station. But the point still stands, this is a haunted house about people making a haunted house, so the backdrops and setpieces can be a little sub-par, but the workshops should be as realistic as possible.

It's July, and you know what that means:

Christmas Idea Layouts in July!

EDDSWORLD Presents: WRATH OF ZANTA CLAWS

Every household has a Christmas tradition. For Edd and his friends, that tradition is trying to keep Tom from getting so drunk he tries to destroy every festive decoration he can see through a sniper's scope while on the roof. But they have the misfortune of repeatedly encountering an undead St. Nick, an entity known as Zanta Claws. Will they survive the onslaught? Or will they be on Zanta's Naughty List?

ROOMS:

  • Facade: Guests enter a WRATH OF ZANTA CLAWS poster. It advertises itself as having THREE SHORTS IN ONE (Small letters: So you don't have to get three houses based off of an animated Christmas Special, which would upset our fans), and features Tom, Edd, Matt, and Tord, with Tom carrying a bazooka and Smirnoff, Tord with a pistol, Matt with a box of Matt ornaments, and Zanta's skeletal face learing above, as well as the Carolers, the little boy and girl from part 1, and the robot from part 3. Full length versions of the songs from the shorts play. To the side, the house logo is shown, occasionally switching out to a Zanta Claws themed Queue video featuring scenes from all three shorts and Zanta's cameos in other videos.
  • Tom's Bazooka Snipe: A dummy of Edd converses with Tom, who sits on the roof of the house. When Tom says to get inside, a scaracter in a Zanta costume will sneak up on an unlucky guest.
  • Get Inside: The three who don't hate Christmas listen as Tom makes an ass out of himself. Near the end of the room, Tom will fall out of the fireplace and grab at guests.
  • What's Going On?: Guests exit Edd's house, and make their way across to the neighbor's house, where a sleigh and zombie reigndeer are on the roof. Tord and Matt will scare guests.
  • Santa?: The audio from Zanta's first kill plays in the neighbor's living room. The little girl watches in blood-stained horror, and Zanta attacks from a boohole, still carrying the corpse of the little boy. Also, there's the Tomee bear on the couch and the four stars watch from a window, but that's not important.
  • Justice?: Exit the house, where the four are still watching and discussing whether they're safe or not. Zanta will jump off the roof and claw at guests (bungee stunt).
  • The Chase: Guests run through a cavern, where a crashed milk truck still plays an out-of-tune jingle. The bloodied milkman will reach out, devastated that he's still alive. On the other end, as they reach the next scene, a Cola truck crashes through the wall, with Tord on top, firing a "REAL GUN". (Well, a gun that fires air but looks like a realistic gun).
  • Cola Truck Chase: The room is set up to look like you're on the back of a moving Cola truck. The four are all here, bracing themselves from the wind. However, the Coca-Cola jingle stops as Zanta jumps down from his sleigh, an instrumental Ghostbusters theme playing.
  • Transition 1: Guests walk out of the "set" of Zanta Claws, where Santa Claus is leaving after giving the four their gifts. Tord's car leaves in the background, and all of a sudden Zanta kidnaps Santa and holds him at gunpoint.
  • Carolers?: Guests re-enter Edd's house, where Edd opens the door for the exploding carolers. They sing their song and "blow up" (If we can get some guests to be smacked with a flying wet rag in the smoke, that would be great, but alas, it's impossible and probably a safety risk. We'll just settle for smoke, strobes and a blast of air).
  • To the North Pole: A snowy black hallway. You hear the characters talk about the Z Gear, but don't see anything... until Matt mentions that it's a stupid idea. THEN the car falls out of the sky with a crash noise, but it stops before it can hit, say.... Sultan Kosen? Is that safe enough?
  • Just What Their Hearts Desire: The transition to this scene is a path between Zanta's monitors and caged Santa Claws, reenacting the scene where Santa tells Zanta he could "just be nice", and Zanta sinisterly agrees. In the scene itself, guests approach Zanta's castle, but encounter Edd (Who splashes out of the Cola pool (IT BURNS)), Tom (Who's Beautiful, but probably reaches into the uncanny valley and is trying to get out of the sun's light (IT BURNS)), and Matt (Who is already burned, and has both sides surrounded with burnt cash).
  • Switcheroo: Zanta holds Santa hostage, with the hats switched. Beautiful Tom will appear from a Boohole, firing a pistol randomly.
  • Finish The Job: Santa lies, crumpled in the corner, while Zanta shoots lasers all willy-nilly. Beautiful Tom will sacrifice himself for the sake of children everywhere, and a chandelier will drop at the end of the room.
  • Transition 2: Guests exit the set of Zanta's castle, where everyone's cracking stupid jokes, except Tom. Tom, no longer beautiful, glares at guests with his charred eye sockets.
  • Not Again: Again, Edd's door, Tom is sniping from above, drunkenly sniping at decorations while Matt and Tom tell him off. As the guests get to the door, a Matt "clone" will appear from a Boohole, busted bauble in hand and a mouthful of blood (some of which sprays on guests). "DELICIOUS CHRISTMAS"
  • S'up: Tom walks through the woods, mumbling to himself. Zanta will appear, leaning on his sleigh, not really being that scary.
  • It Sucks: Another length of woods, ending near Durdam Lane, where you can hear Zanta try to make a deal with Tom. At the end, Zanta will drop down and splat on the ground, scaring that poor sucker. He will then get up and growl at guests. (A lot of Bungee stunts for ole' Zanta, huh?)
  • BURNING MONTAGE: The audio for the Burning Montage plays, as guests enter a maze full of Santa Toms. Scenes include a burning log destroying a tinsel-filled tree, Tom hacking at a Christmas Tree with an axe, attacking a family's living room, and generally being a punk. At the end, Santa's sleigh is shot out of the sky.
  • Christmas Demolition Battle: As Zanta yells at Tom, Guests pass by the giant robot and Tom's stolen sleigh, as well as a burning Christmas tree. As they pass by both, Zanta (armed with an electric guitar) and Tom (With Susan) will bungee out of their vehicles.
  • Shoot the Suckers: The robot's still in the background, and Zanta and Tom are duking it out on the ground. Matt realizes that both fighting parties are villains, and Santa gives the order to fire. This causes another explosion to go off, knocking down both fighters.
  • Finale: Well, it looks like Christmas is saved again. The end of Zanta Claws III, where Matt and Edd sit on the couch, with Zanta and Santa behind him, the audio from the end playing. Tom, bandaged up in his wheelchair, will lunge at guests, and a second Zanta will rise from his grave and claw at guests.

Well, that was a lot of explosions, vehicle crashes, and bungee stunts, wasn't it? But still, it could be a fun haunted house. Stupid, but fun. Still, there's not a whole lot of room for new audio, seeing that Tom can't stand Eddsworld and Edd is dead, both of which are sad. But I think Edd would've been okay with the idea of Eddsworld-themed haunted houses. (I can't be too sure. I mean, it's not like Eddsworld would be owned by the amusement park who did so, and would keep monetization rights, but I don't know how this works. It may just be me thinking about how cool it would be to have something I made turned into a haunted house, so don't take my words for it.)

Eh, can respect you for saying that this is the one idea that you would never post. By the way what do you think of the nightmare pantheons layout idea i had on page 14 of the same thread you're on doc?

Hmmm... Pretty good, but I'm not sure the Tropers will be pleased with HHN characters appearing in the pantheon.

I remember you wanting ideas for rooms that Adult Swim characters could corrupt in a funhouse?

  • Hall of mirrors. A classic. I think Knotts had a haunted house dedicated to mirrors. I remember watching the video, but you had no idea what was going on because of all the mirrors. Maybe MC Pee Pants took over this part?
  • Funhouses have rooms where jets of air shoot up from the floor. Of course these jets are for looking up skirts, but they've become a mainstay.
  • A room where the floor keeps tilting.
  • A spinning tunnel.
  • I've never really been in a funhouse, because, as I said, I was a cowardly child and anything involving clowns was a big nope. But how about a mad scientist lab, taken over by the Mad Scientist from Robot Chicken?
  • An alien abduction room, where guests walk through a hall with a spinning beam of light into a UFO full of aliens.
  • CLOWN ROOM
  • A scene that takes place in a staff only room, where Robot Chicken's Nerd Character is being bullied by another AS character.
  • A room full of "fire". I read a story about a rescue team's haunted attraction once, where the house had a room to make it look like the building was burning. After the building caught fire years ago. And did I mention that this fire actually happened?
  • A Crypt full of skeletons.
  • A seance room.
  • A ball pit. Throw in Adult Swim's most disgusting character.
  • A room full of strobelights and lasers.

  • A room full of strobelights and lasers.

pretty good man

Behold the third idea of the Youtube Dead idea by doc!

YOUTUBE POOP DEAD

Facade: The same facade of the first Youtube Dead house idea but except with a queue video of the youtube poopers videos featured in the house

Scene 1: A hall of portraits featuring youtube poopers in which some of them will be drop outs of a twisted version of the youtube pooper of the portrait

Scene 2: Guests will enter into a CDI version of the Hyrule castle where they can see the CDI's version of Zelda's headless corpse on the floor then out of nowhere the cdi version of the king will pop out with the cdi version of Zelda and on some occasions the king might eat the cdi's version of Zelda's head (Youtube Poop: U Want Cake In Teh Mornin!?!?)

Scene 3: Guests will now be at a empty neighborhood with the same houses with purple roofs and on the windows are projections of PBG shooting people inside the house and sometimes he might burst through the door and shoot at guests (Youtube Poop: PBG Masters the Keyboard) (By the way this is from a ytp tennis round of NPCarlsson and Jimmy Davis)

Scene 4: Guests will be at I.M Meen's library where Meen is slowly becoming insane and stalk guests in the library while guests nearly exit the library an eyeless I.M Meen will pop out and attack guests (Youtube Poop: I.M Meen's Deteriorating Mental Stability) (By the way the eyeless I.M Meen is a reference to when I.M Meen loses his eyes after killing Michael Rosen then teleporting away but with his eyes missing in the ytp)

Scene 5: Guests will now be at Mr. Krabs tent where inside the tent is Spongebob and Patrick with shocked and horrified expression of finding squidward's head and while guests are distracted by this Mr. Krabs with a chainsaw will pop out to swing the chainsaw at guests (Youtube Poop: Mr. Krabs' Unquenchable Blood Lust)

Scene 6/Finale: Guests will be at a room where all the previous scaracters pop out to scare guests.

(Notes: Sorry if this is too short)

Also, the neighborhood is a recurring location in Jimmy Davis's poops (It feels weird to be talking about YTP on a forum), and another shooting actually happened in his YTPs. Have you seen his Chadtronic one? Chad shooting Sammy could be a good easter egg (like how sometimes, in YouTube Dead, Ashen's Hall of Portraits picture, instead of becoming his Halloween Logo, becomes a vomiting Food Special logo).

I mean, I'm not going to advocate a house based off of YouTube Poop. It just seems too out there, but I did consider a room in YouTube Dead about it, and in Maze Thinker's sequel house idea, I thought that a room dedicated to YTP could be crazy enough to work. But perhaps it could be a yard haunt.

Actually, that'd be the best way to do it.

It may just be me thinking about how cool it would be to have something I made turned into a haunted house, so don't take my words for it.)

honestly a good end room idea is a room similar to Christmas eddventure. here "tom"  would be destroying multiple of the characters. multiple penguins will come out from the dining room table and the real tom all bloodied up will pop out from a pantry. as guests exit a penguin tom will scare guests

I guess that could work. The house is about Zanta Claws, but Tom takes the reigns for a bit so I guess a fake Tom killing people would be a good finale.

I wonder if there's a room in an Eddsworld House I could throw Cobweb John into?
