Fear2010
I’m definitely hoping for the dates and the general admission as the next announcement cause that’s the first thing I want to come regardless of what all the houses and zones will be. That’s the point we’re at, and this should also be the month for Legacy to throw us some clues. Was expecting last month a few weeks ago, but he’s pushing them back cause he was impressed how quick some in the fan community got them right, and we’ve already got one house announced with Chucky.
Fear2010
I’m still with Ditto when It comes to Netflix.
Sinfear
Gonna be completely honest, I’m a little indifferent on Netflix returning to the event. I enjoyed Hill House and the first Stranger Things house but Netflix isn’t something that would necessarily make me excited again.
Fear2010
This is interesting. While there are a couple of outliers due to the hurricane, but this should give us the general idea of today’s crowds. https://www.thrill-data.com/hhn/orlando/2022
Fear2010
Late but It’s better than never! Legacy recently dropped the first clue for this year! Sweden, Brazil, Ghana, Haiti, Ethiopia, 0, Honduras, Iceland, and Denmark.
Sinfear
Maybe it’s just me wanting another urban legend/cryptid house but any urban legends of those countries anyone can think of?
Fear2010
Whether If I’m right or wrong, Here’s my take on the first clue: Legacy’s use of animation is a trope of his when it comes to HHN speculations. It instantly made me thought of the countries the Simpsons visited in the series. He mentioned Brazil and there are a couple of episodes about the country, so that could be a “code to unlock.” If I’m right about this theory, then this does sound like an Amazonian themed house. Could be an original concept with various monsters, but It also might be Creature From The Black Lagoon, since the movie took place at the Amazon rainforest, and Gill-Man was an Easter Egg in the Bride of Frankenstein Lives at 30. Fear2010
While everyone in the community are throwing in a lot of guesses what animated show he is using now and what will it be, Legacy have confirmed the first clue is a shared IP house, so this one might be related to the Monsters - It actually sounds fitting if he went with that first.
Sinfear
Wouldn’t be surprised that Monsters would be shared again. Fingers crossed for Creature From the Black Lagoon or Phantom of the Opera. The underrated monsters need their own houses.
Fear2010
Another code was dropped today.
Sinfear
Trying to think of a common thing all these countries have in common. Snowy winters? Maybe another winter-based house? This is honestly harder than I think it would be.
Fear2010
My guess is this: In the Simpsons, they have visited Canada four times. But that’s not all. You know who’s Canadian? The Weeknd who was also a guest in the series other than American Dad. I’m getting a Dawn FM type of hint on the second clue.
Sinfear
That’s a good prediction. And I’d be down for another Weeknd house.
Fear2010
Someone actually got one of the clues right on Discord. Credit goes to Skullhead525 and Chaotic_Neutral! From r/HHN by SkullHead525: “Just a note that might mean something: the countries turned to numbers alphabetically results in a 10 digit result for both clues: 1927850894 0340619155” inputting this into an isbn search engine and we got two books: The Last Vampire Phantom released in 1996 and Gemstones, Elves, and Other Insidious Magic released in 2018.
Fear2010
So far in total, Legacy dropped three clues with the use of books as hints rather than a TV show. The first one is the Monsters with a Phantom and Dracula mash up, the second one is Blumhouse with Insidious and M3gan, and the third one is the already announced Chucky house. I’m guessing the Weeknd is next, and the fifth IP could be either the Exorcist or Evil Dead Rise. Mad props to the HHN community in Discord. Fear2010
Gonna give Dead Maddox’s Pier on Discord for this. It’ll be easier to unlock more clues later. A=1 B=2 C=3 D=4 E=5 F=6 G=7 H=8 I=9 J=10 K=11 L=12 M=13 N=14 O=15 P=16 Q=17 R=18 S=19 T=20 U=21 V=22 W=23 X=24 Y=25 Z=
Fear2010
Not sure if it’s possible, but if it means less crowds to hit through all the houses or at least give guests a chance for one night to attend, then I’m all for it. https://hhnunofficial.com/2023/02/15/rumor-hhn-to-run-every-night-in-october/?fbclid=IwAR3kV5cVIrCgzyqab3LE1RoE-aUum6KloLk7dOAuHC7ND15joNYKG95teFU&mibextid=q5o4bk
Sinfear
Spec Map version 1 for this season is up and I’m digging the potential lineup. The originals look really interesting, particularly the Krampus and Japanese Creature ones. Not super happy about Dracula being attached to the Monsters house but happy Phantom could have a starring role. The music house intrigues me because it’s probably an IP(I want it to be Ice Nine Kills but probably not).
Fear2010
Actually the music house that is rumored is Metallica with a reference to their second album Ride The Lightning. I’m hoping the Japanese themed house is true the most, so we can have Youkai from the myths and folktales.
Sinfear
I personally hope the Japanese Creature housebis Teke Teke. I guess it would be cool to have a Metallica house but I’m honestly not the biggest fan of them.
Fear2010
There’s even an anchor on speculation map, does it mean Dead Man’s Pier will come back or is it some other sea-related theme house? I’d welcome Pier again with open arms cause It was such an amazing house and I still love it.
Sinfear
On one hand, I’d love for Dead Man’s Pier to return. On the other hand, I’d rather a brand new nautical horror house show up. Maybe something to do with Sirens but we already have the rumored Banshee house so I dunno
Fear2010
Looking At Krampus, I’m expecting the original version to have a Scary Tales treatment like Tooth Fairy at 30 that is also set during the Victorian era. I had honestly never thought they would do it again after 26 with the movie, but knowing the origins of it deeply than before, I’m happily now on board to this. Edited February 20 by Fear2010
Sinfear
That’s a good point. The Scary Tales approach would be great to see. I loved Tooth Fairy and Deadly Ever After so I’m hoping that’s the case.
Fear2010
And It also makes sense to continue the Scary Tales franchise in a way with spin-offs. They had done this before with Asylum In Wonderland at 25, Tooth Fairy at 30, and maybe the original concept Krampus for this year before It leads to whatever is next in the future.
