I really really wanted to. But didn't want Murdy giving me an evil look. But as soon as they started showing the video and the first thing that popped up on the screen was that red door, both me and my 9 year old son shouted "YES!!!!!" lol. We knew right away!! Grindhousehero13 Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 but its not like it not a trend or it has effected HHN before 2011 we had HOTC then we had TCM in 2012, both murderous Hillbilly families, who lure teens to there secluded house by means of one of their own hitchhiking. 2008 we had Friday the 13th, then My Bloody Valentine in 09 then Friday the 13th again in 2010, once again both masked killers back from the dead seeking revenge in a small town consisting of mostly woods who only show up on a specific day. 2009 and 2010 we had SAW and in 2011 we had Hostel both Torture porn that takes place whithin a random warehouse. the themes may be simuler by they are not the exact same thing. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Man, if you want to talk about all of the ways HOTC ripped off TCM it would take up another 205 pages of spec.
