Cody
I was going to say something about Casey Anthony in relation to the event. But I ruled out that it was too soon. It will always be too soon. Along with too soon, too controversial. Even with the massive outrage at the verdict, there's still enough people who actually believed the defense to result in offense if they went the safest route and showed her being put in an electric chair and fried right in the middle of the stage to the cheering of Satan and Hitler. Besides, she lives locally. If she finds out, she won't be happy. Remember Disney's reaction to Pirates of the Caribbean in 2006?
Oysterhead00
http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/21160/-evil-dead-4-this-time-it-s-real There's been talk of a fourth "Evil Dead" for pretty much as long as I've been doing this website - around fifteen years. Well it seems that things might be finally moving on it after all. Yesterday Dread Central reported that a fourth film has been gearing up for production in Detroit with Sam Raimi’s regular collaborator, editor Bob Murawski ("Spider-Man," "The Hurt Locker") heading there soon to work on the project. At the same time actor Bruce Campbell said on Twitter “Believe in the remake, dawg! The project is real. In the works. Cool as hell. Scary as hell.” Then today, Bloody Disgusting reports that Fede Alvarez, the filmmaker behind the hyped robot invasion short “Panic Attack!”, is set to direct the film. Alvarez scored a deal with Sam Raimi‘s Ghost House Pictures back in 2009, so this would keep it in-house. More as this shakes out as right now there's some big questions regarding scheduling, who's involved and in what capacity. Please please please please NEXT year.... Mr. Cleaver
Wishful thinking. Yes. I would LOVE an event like Tales of Terror, where the whole event is one theme, one cohesive story. And, seeing the 20's casino theme and the talk of a WWI hospital, I could see a whole event being just the "Horror History Lesson," a whole event themed around horrifying events of the past (20's casino, WWI Hospital, Spanish Inquisition, Radioactive Experiemntation (~50s)), etc. I would love that. but I may be alone in that little boat. I can dream, can't I?

Lizz
Did I catch you in my video? The guy that scared the crud out of me at 1:09?... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTDZfEK39-Q I agree though. I thought the house was phenominal in special effects but it was a one off. I just don't see it ever coming back nor does it need to. How were you able to film the houses?? You just made me so happy! I didn't get to attend in 2008, and I will be watching these walkthroughs now! Excited!

I didn't get to attend in 2008, and I will be watching these walkthroughs now! Excited! I used a B&W .01 lux pin hole camera. So no IR light (which glows red which would give me away) but it has a nearly human ability to film dark conditions. Unfortunately my DVR broke the first house in '09 and I haven't flipped the $150.00 to replace it. Edited July 15, 2011 by JWFearman

Wow, downloaded all your YouTube videos (gotta love VDownloader) and burned them to a DVD....it was awesome reliving the 2008 event. I hope you get the DVR fixed in time for this year! Cody
if the facebook year countdown goes as planned, hopefully tuesday will be an update. Remember, stuff is done when it's done. They rarely follow a rigid schedule, so the best way to wait for an update is just sit and relax. They're not delaying the event itself, right? foREVer56
if the facebook year countdown goes as planned, hopefully tuesday will be an update. if it went as originaly planned, wed have one tomorrow, so theres defenitely no set schedule. as cody stated many times, stuffs done when they want it done. no year has had a set update schedule, u can see that at horrornights.be as for the above posts about lady luck, i doubt it. im pretty sure the members with sources/are sources have stated that the icons are probably death and/or fate in one form or another. feel free to correct me if im wrong those of u with information. but we all wont defenitely know maybe until tuesday, maybe until august. we dont even know WHEN we'll know. and for the thing house, if its happening, i guess im open to give it another try. i didnt like the original house at all i thought it was ok setwise amd awful scarewise. but maybe since the trailer looked decent for the new one the house will be good? i will only hope they dont waste an ss for a bad house(which imo theyve never done since 06). i have no clue on disaster. it would be fantastic if those whove seen the facade to share very minimal details or clues about it if they could, or the interior sets, but for the pics and the codenames, fairytales sounds like it. i would love to see a house done in the woods. ive wanted a house like that for years. it has soo much potential, it could be kinda like the sz in jp with the people disguises with plants to blend in with the scenery, or the stuffed animals in chucky. I have seen the facade, and I have stated that I cannot see Fairytales (or Scarytales) as the theme. Nor can I see holidays has the theme. I have no intention of posting any specifics of what the facade looks like, but I will say that Holidays and Fairytales (again, Scarytales) are very unlikely. I posted that before the "eggs" came out. I'll admit I was wrong about it, but if you're 100% in Spec, you're cheating.
