  1. So this is happening... Scarezones only. What does everyone think?
  2. If this is the case, are they no longer hosting a "no mask zone" inside? Are we sure they aren't just removing the FFL set pieces instead? I wondered the same
  3. Is there any indication that we will get "fall festival" during the day?
  4. If it's coming, it's not on the current house slate. Could change, but as of this moment, it is not a house.
  5. Pump the brakes y'all. Like @Legacy said, the event is still happening (as of now) and there is no June 19th plan to announce that it's not. Builds are happening and scarezones are also a go. This year has IMMENSE potential and it will feel like an indie-horror film vibe with originals and tremendous nods to the past. There won't be colossal looming IP's that they're clearly trying to capitalize on like TWD, Purge, etc. This year has a very "homemade" vibe to it(at least the houses). It's a 5/5 split. 6/4 if you consider UCM Bride original
  6. Just had a thought. Would this not be the perfect year to open up HHN at IOA and USO? Bring in the same capacity, but double the space and maybe use IOA as the "holding zone" for guests that have a virtual queue reservation for the houses at Universal? You can add food, a show and some scarezones to IOA, but that way the capacity could be cut in half while still entertaining and feeding the guests. Yes, operational costs would go up, but I think guest satisfaction would go through the roof knowing that people could spend less time in line and more time walking around a general haunt vibe that has been expanded. Just my 2 cents.
  7. Construction has continued, yes. Lots of third party vendors are on it and moving forward.
  8. This is one of a couple times per year where Universal profits, as opposed to reinvesting into it's parks, etc. They will do everything in their power to get the event up and running, even if it has a smaller capacity. We also need these idiots to stop going out to unnecessary places. I heard today Wonderworks is still open. Are you f&$#ing kidding me?! The place where everyone is SUPPOSED to touch everything?! That place is a petri dish for viruses. Also, this is the gross statement from the Fun Spot CEO, clearly taking advantage of the other park closures: We value each guest who visits our parks and hope these measures give you confidence that we are taking the necessary precautions in this evolving situation. We remain committed to providing you and your family with a safe-clean-fun environment. We look forward to helping you, your family and friends celebrate each other while creating memories for a life time. At this time, Fun Spot America is fully operational. If you’re interested in purchasing a Single Day Fun Pass, Single Day Mega Fun Pass or 2020 3-Park Season Pass, you can save now by purchasing tickets online.
  9. The rumblings are still in favor of Scarecrow appearing at the event, though in what capacity is still TBD I think it's safe to say that any plans to have a zombie/virus related house/scarezone, are out the window. Here's an interesting exercise to help pass the time: Anyone want to compile a list of zombie/virus related scenes for a theoretical anniversary house or full houses(both original and IP, or speculated) that they will NOT be doing? I think it's safe to say we can rule these out. Also..... NO WALKING DEAD! C0NF1RM3D!@#
  10. If the rumors are true, from what I'm hearing, we will not be getting a permit for Shrek
  11. Is it though? A&D is always pulling rabbits out of hats; whether it's houses, scarezones, shows or announcements.
  12. I'm surprised this, from The Ifrit, has not been addressed on here: Seeped in blood, the roots have grown Vines of iron branch like a throne A flame is stoked, the fires lit A blade is forged in the pit Guards await, calm and steady Berries ripe, wine is ready Hold your hope within reason And prepare for the season Is this too obviously Terra Queen?
