Here's a thought, just a thought mind you not anything I've heard from any sources. So far the three houses that have Hollywood counterparts have all been revealed for both Hollywood and Orlando nearly simultaneously. So, since they have revealed the Remix maze with no word about Orlando whatsoever may be a sign that the house here may not be like the maze in Hollywood after all.4 points

Or they could be directly referencing all the Facebook posts begging for an update...2 points

Hey, I'm nothing if not obsessively thorough and investigative. I'm a Scorpio, it's what I do Now that the TCM announcement was made for HHNH, I still think my Lollipop Chainsaw theory could work out as a SZ...idk seems a little coincidental. I really need to stop making all these connections while at work -____-1 point

Sorry mate but that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I'm not a massive Stephen King fan but it's plainly clear a house with his name on would have just as much pull as a house with Silent Hill or The Walking Dead on it. You or I cannot for definite say whether they will or will not agree a deal with King in the future. Just because he has said no in the past does not mean he won't change his mind. Especially if they continue to make such good houses based off written sources like last years Poe house. Penn and Teller have had a hands on role in their house this year according to reports so there is nothing stopping King doing this in the future also. Once again I'm not disputing your info that he's refused in the past but you cannot guarantee things that have no guarantees.1 point

I think you've picked up on an important word choice... see more instead of hear more. Does anyone remember the twitter/facebook pictures we received last year as clues for the houses? Perhaps now that we're done with IPs, we'll move into that kind of reveal leading up to the website update. Hahaha! I wish! I didn't get a hoodie last year... I'll be crossing my fingers for their return!1 point

The "infested" clue was a mistake by Legacy, and it was referring to The Rat Lady.1 point

You know, I wonder if people are getting too focused on the DE aspect of this house. They could be referring to it more in that the house is more generally controlling the light and dark and how attendees interact with it, or that we'll get strobe effects in parts of it via "lightning." I think people are assuming it will be DE with Uni Monsters instead of zombies, and we haven't gotten word one way or another just how similar it will be. And a straight copy of the style in DE really won't work well with the Monsters imo, unless they change up some other things too. As was mentioned earlier, the house summary for Monsters Remixed would technically fit this house, and that's completely different. Plus, we haven't even gotten confirmation that this house even exists! Until we know what this house will actually contain, I will operate under the assumption that it's not exactly the same, and a form fitting jumpsuit would look awful for this character; especially considering the amount of details this monster in particular has. Even with only a second or two to see him, it could be painfully obvious that something's not right, depending on how they present him. I agree 100%. I would much rather have a scare actor. Just trying to think of feasible, accurate ways they could present the character without ridiculous costs for just one character in one house.1 point

Just to clarify, SS23 is not being used for Horror Nights. I'll be the first to admit, I'm horrible with the Soundstage locations. So if that is indeed SS23, then sorry... that's not HHN construction. We're looking at SS22 and SS20 being our Soundstage houses this year.1 point

So much for keeping this thread on topic about speculation and not dubstep... That being said, everyone who is so freaked about dubstep, look at it this way...between the screaming and the general background noise in most of the houses, the music will be the last thing you notice. Hell, they could be playing the polka in these houses and most people aren't going to realize it. The music is such a small part of the overall environment of the house, regardless of what genre is used it will still blend in with the background. I'm not a huge fan of the style, but if used properly it could easily enhance the house. There are a few houses over the past years where I specifically remember the music, Run had Linkin Park...and well, that's the only one where I can put my finger exactly on what was playing. The walk through each house goes by so quickly half the time you don't even recognize what is going on from an audio standpoint unless it is in direct correlation with a scene.1 point

Ok I think Dubstep is pretty much a terrible genre of music. As a musician I just cant get into the "artistic integrity" of computer music... But the videos that JW just posted have me interested... kinda cool. I realize its a horror theme with some drums and laser sounds laid over it, but its kinda cool none the less. Im hoping Orlando doesnt go the dubsteb route but if they do I trust them enough to give us something awesome. Im just worried bc a Classic Monsters house is something Ive wanted to see for a while now!1 point

Seems to me that the music would be distracting. I can't even shop stores that play that stuff. It drives me crazy! Really hoping Orlando goes a different direction with the classic monsters. Some things don't need to brought up to date. Hence the word "Classic".1 point

I'm old so I had no clue what dubstep was. Jumped over to last.fm and listened to some. I'm sorry but this stuff has no place in a horror themed maze. Especially a classic monsters one if that is what Orlando is truly getting. Give me gothic pipe organ and plenty of it. Yes my mind is closed on this one.1 point

Wesker, how did you not like the Wolfman and Dracula houses in 2009? That just astounds me! I thought they were fantastic. They were actually in my top 5 over the last 7 years I've attended. Whatever they do with the Monsters, I just hope it's with the respect they deserve. They are classics for a reason. I'm really looking forward to finding out exactly what that house will be.1 point

I absolutely hate dubstep, I don't care what they do with the house I would hate the house just cause of the dubstep "music" playing. I very seriously hope we dont get that here in orlando.1 point
