  4. OK, I've map a map for this year based on SPECULATION. Nothing besides the 4 announced house are 100% confirmed. Hopefully this will help give you a basic idea on where we stand as of right now.

  5. Perhaps it is because we all are such lushes during the event that they've had no real reason to up the prices much over the years considering that regardless they make a profit off of us. (And I'm merely speaking for myself...because this event is my drinking time of year.) Three words for the Caretaker having more hair these days = Bosley Hair Restoration.

  6. Holy hell Legacy, I think you've created the fashion statement of HHN 22.... I am going to purchase one ASAP, simply because they are that awesome. I think I've found my uniform for attending this year. Thanks for creating such an amazing shirt for all of us Walking Dead fanatics. The shirt statement has become my motto in life, whenever something goes wrong, it's obviously Carl's fault. The little shit. THANKS AGAIN!!!

  9. Do you mean entrance as in house or entrance as in queue? The queue for 2008's Body Collectors: Collections of the Past was the normal NY Library facade location. The house entrance was on the IOA side of the soundstage. To put it bluntly... it was the walk from hell thanks to Rockit's construction.

  10. So in a nutshell: Iroquois means Six Nations = The six remaining SZ groups - Vampires, Dragons, Clowns, Prisoners, Trick-or-Treaters, and Female Chainsaws. These "tribes" will probably be fighting each other with us in the middle, and the action beginning at the beginning of Venture Blvd -Hollywood.

  11. Maybe not even have a designated icon, but rather maybe there will be some type of entity that is represented throughout the even that we're all against. I don't see them using that as a marketing icon per say, but perhaps it's jus something that the event will be centered around without them beating us over the head with it via an 'icon'/'theme' ya know?

  12. just some spitballing. --from what I read it seems like wagers (goods, wives, children) were a part of Native American Lacrosse games. --Maybe Doc is referring to the general idea of tribes? I can't really see how this would be used in a practical way (outside of themeing/marketing)...but perhaps we have "tribes" that are unified in some way like some way...which gets me thinking Terra Queen. was Terra Queen 2004? (2004's been alluded to a few times already). --I thought we were getting more nomadic "zones". Doc mentioned in his latest video "running to follow your favorite"...but now we are getting set (but fairly general) locations from Doc. He also makes the distinction between the zones and "hordes" (for lack of a better word) in 2008. Maybe we have 6 generally set locations, and 2 actually nomadic groups? -Done spitballing

  20. So sorry, newb here, but I had a few comments... Lots of the insiders have made a lot of comments on "games" being played here even before they "begin". Personally, that's making me think of the games we had last year with Lady Luck... not saying that she'll come back for sure (or that she'll even be present in Vegas [though that would make sense] ), but prehaps the insinuation is that there are some online games coming up, relating to some sort of story? Other insiders have also said that there are new rumbings of an icon, but that you don't need one to have a story. Does this mean that they've figured out a way to tie the hordes/scarezones/houses/something together? I mean, I personally think a good icon this year COULD be some sort of Atlas-type that "shrugs" and the world goes into chaos. Some sort of "Fear" character, maybe? I know people are saying "Variations Of Apocolypse" or "The Fall (Or Death) Of Reality" is wrong, but I feel like Walking Dead and Penn and Teller fit very well into that, and when you consider that Silent Hill is a personal apocolypse and distortion of reality for anyone entering and that Alice Cooper is supposed to be a demonic nightmare in which reality is distorted, it all sort of fits in. If you look at it through that lens, you could almost feel a "Bloody Mary Otherworld" aspect to all the houses in the event, even the unannounced ones such as the "Photograph", which literally comes from the Bloody Mary Otherworld year, the predicted "Victorian House with the Evil Portal" [which could correlate with ideas of a distorted reality OR a fall of reality OR even some sort of Trick Or Treating theme] and the Gargoyles, which could be spun into apocolypse or some strange lens of our world. Conversely, you could tie all these things together from a childlike view of nightmares, maybe some sort of "Cindy" styled event (though I'm almost positive clues point to the fact that she's not coming back). I mean, think about it in the eyes of another tortured child: Imagine that this child is moving around constantly, being shuffled around after the tragic death of her mother and supposed arrest of her father, sometime during the "Walking Dead" timeline (I'm not sure if this is cannon or possible, but let's just say...). Her father is actually a zombie. Of course, then "The Walking Dead" would fit right in. She might have met a friend that lived in some middle America suburb, that has horrible nightmares each night, relating to Alice Cooper. Our child then moves into Silent Hill. Silent Hill is the product of a child's fears, if I'm not mistaken. Alessa's bad memories of the nurses create them, her guilt creates a form of Pyramid Head, etc. And isn't it true that whomever goes into Silent Hill face their own demons or demons of others in the town? If so, then couldn't another child character posess Silent Hill, too? She has been moved into a decrepit apartment building in New York or some other big city. Her bedroom is just across from a wretched gargoyle that she thinks constantly looks in her window, and she fears that one day the gargoyles will come to life... It's common to have bad dreams after scary movies, and especially for a child who is all alone in the world. Maybe the child has bad memories of the movie theatre (possibly the same one run by The Usher). Maybe she was watching a very old reel of Creature Features, relating to 100 Years? Or maybe something horrible happened in the theatre, like the death of her mother in some fire or blackout or something. She remembers the reporters snapping pictures of her, resembling Dead Exposure. Maybe this is also the reason why this house has had so much trouble, what with the recent Dark Knight Shootings. She had been moved into Las Vegas, which, as everything else after the zombies, had been ruined. She imagines what could have caused the mutated bodies she finds in the street. Her final place of residence was an dilapidated victorian house where some other tragic accident happens to her. On Halloween, awful creatures of her imagination are manifested within the house. The roaming scarezones relate to the fact that this little chid has never had a place to rest, always on the run from one fear to the next. Like a trail of bad aura and nightmares following her wherever she goes, the scarezones roam, too, and resemble parts of her memories that were not so lucky to have been even as stable as her "houses". Children that she used to know from the Orfanage or the Skoolhouse, the zombies that chased her, the fairytales she read to pass the time in trains or cars of dragons and vampires, the social workers traveling with her who seemed as evil as women with chainsaws, the memories of when her parents used to take her to the traveling circus where she loved the clowns, the escape that she wishes and imagines her father must have made from his "jail", the ghosts of those that were dear to her... Once again, I know people say things like this can't happen, but with some creativity it can all DEFINITELY be tied together. Or, they could just not be tied together at all and that would be that. ALSO, I was wondering if it was possible for the roaming hordes to have "showstops" similar to ones in parades. They could roam until they reach a certain point, and then, in Nightmaze style, set a single prop or two that will react with the rest of the scarezone's music or story and the actors could spring into action. I personally think that it could be done, and a few short stories could even be told in this format, such as some sort of evolution of the dragons, some sort of circus act, the death of the ghostbusting chartacters, the zombies turning one of the "customers" into one of their own... I think that could be "out of the box", right?

  22. I'm going to interrupt the speculation for a moment. The "Norse God" statement that originated in the post by Grime was a post to get things back on track about speculation. So from this point forward, no more talk or mentioning "Norse Gods". We do have members of these forums that have sources that will always remain nameless (so don't ask), that get information about the event each year. These members include the following: JWFearman Dr. Jimmy Legacy Lizz Wesker69 They at times provide hints and clues through posts and/or videos (Dr. Jimmy). These are posted for you to speculate on and try to figure out! These members will not come out and say the actual information, or they could lose any source they have and we'll never see clues and hints again! They may come across as blunt, harsh, and know it all's at times, but when you read between the lines they are trying to help and give all of us something to speculate on, which in most cases turns out to be fact. We seem to go through this phase each year, and the staff seems to post one of these messages more than once each year. Why? Horror Night Nightmares always welcomes NEW members and members that may have not ever been to Halloween Horror Nights yet. These members have no idea who is who, and who knows what, or even how these speculation threads operate. Let's welcome that and let them know without getting into an argument, we all need to help speculation move on and in a way that don't become hostile or argumentative! This is supposed to be a FUN thread to try and figure out what we have in store for us each year. Let's keep it that way! ALL OPINIONS and THOUGHTS are valid, RIGHT or WRONG. If you know someone is wrong, sure you can correct them and help/guide them in the right direction.. BUT DO IT NICELY! That is ALL WE ASK! We don't want to WARN or BAN anyone at all, we try to keep things RELAXED as possible. but if things keep getting out of hand WE WILL WARN YOU, you get 5 POINTS before a ban! Please think before you post, we enjoy the speculation from everyone! Let's keep it fun, please! If anyone feels they have been warned for the wrong reason, please contact me via private message! Back to speculation..

  23. Ok, so for a good recap of the scare actor groups from what is known from spec. 1 - Vampires 2 - Ghost/LT 3 - Zombies 4 - Dragons 5 - Escaped Prisoners 6 - Trick-or-Treaters 7 - Clowns 8 - Chainsaw Drill Team (female) These I believe are the best descriptions for the groups so far. Since we know a general description of the groups, now to figure out how they will be implemented in the park, what types of characters are going to be in them etc. Not to say anyone else is wrong with what they think, but some who have a very good idea of what these groups will be have directed our thoughts to these answers so far.

  24. For the sake of semantics, the line is "Out for summer, out till fall", but that's just me being an a**. So there are multiple things I want to get across to you. The first, I agree that you're entitled to your opinion and I truly want you to give it if it will help with speculation. That last part to me though is key. I've been trying to avoid all of the bickering going on, as I find it completely unnecessary on a thread about SPECULATION. That being said, there are people on here who are trying to help everyone on this forum by using the information they know to add to the speculation. Without them, this thread would be mostly wishful thinking. If they tell you you're wrong, they're doing it to HELP you. There's no point in going on for pages and pages about an opinion which lacks any plausibility. Keep that to the wishful thinking. It's also unnecessary to be offended by anything that's said to you. We're all here for the same reason, and that's love of HHN. I've held my tongue prior as the best way to avoid bickering is to ignore it. But I do have a reason for saying all of this. I will agree to disagree if the time calls for it, but all you've done is give your opinion with no backing of an argument. The problem this causes is that when multiple people give reasoning as to why you are taking something in the wrong light, and you still form no solid argument for your own idea, it comes across as stubbornness. This is not an attack against you, I'm simply showing you that your argument is poor, and I would like to understand why you believe you're correct. Below are a few reasons why I believe your idea is incorrect. I shouldn't have to, but I ask that you please take this as constructive criticism. First, how do you define a "repeat"? In the form of a scare zone, it would be in the way of a repetition. With this in mind, the idea of an Alice Cooper scare zone would not only be a repetition of the house in Hollywood last year, but would also be a repetition of the house in Hollywood this year, AND the house in Orlando this year. Regardless of the title of the house, Alice Cooper is the IP featured in all three. In this way, an Alice Cooper scare zone is repeating three haunted houses. However, the "traditional Halloween scare zone" in the way you described it sounds unique to the Skoolhouse. If there's no longer a bus, a school, or a playground, then that sounds like less of a repeat to me than an Alice Cooper scare zone. What you're left with are kids in costume, celebrating Halloween. There is no story line, and the characters are as pedestrian as vampires, so it sounds as though nothing about it is a "repeat". The zone fits into the clue because we are a collective of HHN fans. For most of us, our first answer to the clue would have been the Skoolhouse. Due to the inability to have sets for scare zones, which may honestly be a plus to the event, the clue was referring to a group of children celebrating Halloween. Like many have said before, having an Alice Cooper zone for this clue would have been way too obvious, as well as it not being a direct quote. As stated earlier, there are people who have helped with speculation by giving away clues to information or steering people away from being incorrect. They have been correct so far, even with the difficulties occurring over the summer with the event. Doubting them is one thing, but doing it without giving a reason is just odd. In the end, all I ask is that you do two things for me: 1. Explain WHY you think Alice Cooper will have a scare zone. 2. I'm curious as to what you think an Alice Cooper scare zone would resemble, because to me it would just be the same as the house. Please describe. P.S.: Zombies are zombies. Although I agree that the GP will see zombies in the park and think "walkers", that doesn't mean that the roaming zone is a direct tie-in. Also, TV is bad for you, read the graphic novel

  29. I've been to both parks, I've been to both events, and I've worked at universal and will be working at Busch Gardens come September. Everyone keeps talking to me like Ive never been to the parks, or either events. I'm not stupid, and i will keep posting my speculations, even if im wrong. I know that the gp doesn't always run to the rides leaving houses open.. But it does happen. I know that the walkways are larger at universal than at bgt.. Because I've been to both too many times to count. Just because I do not post that often, it does not mean that I do not know anything. I've been on all of the boards since hauntfreaks.. I'm not new to this.. Speculation thread is more like a "defend yourself" thread.. Casey Thanks Lyn! Everyone keeps saying im comparing the parks and events, but im not.. Casey

  30. I think the fans of HOS and HHN are very different though, because if they gave us the Forsaken this year, A repeat house, would people here be okay with that? people would throw a tantrum, but in HOS you get repeat houses every time, so I don't know, different crowds, what is even more funny is that Hollywood Does repeat houses, and people in Orlando Would still throw a fit if that were to happen

  31. Super disappointed with the current status of the site and the "updates". I do not know why Uni has changed their method of HHN site announcements and interactive media (if that is the case) but I plan on voicing my opinion to them in a letter when all is said and done. The HHN website is something I look forward to every day...several times a day!! And it gets me super worked up for the event ....so I am missing that terribly. I still remain hopeful that the site changes are just being delayed for some technical or other reason, and I keep checking this forum to see if anyone is aware of what is going on with the HHN site. Keep udates coming if anyone hears different about the site changes. Thanks.
