  1. I'm going to interrupt the speculation for a moment. The "Norse God" statement that originated in the post by Grime was a post to get things back on track about speculation. So from this point forward, no more talk or mentioning "Norse Gods". We do have members of these forums that have sources that will always remain nameless (so don't ask), that get information about the event each year. These members include the following: JWFearman Dr. Jimmy Legacy Lizz Wesker69 They at times provide hints and clues through posts and/or videos (Dr. Jimmy). These are posted for you to speculate on and try to figure out! These members will not come out and say the actual information, or they could lose any source they have and we'll never see clues and hints again! They may come across as blunt, harsh, and know it all's at times, but when you read between the lines they are trying to help and give all of us something to speculate on, which in most cases turns out to be fact. We seem to go through this phase each year, and the staff seems to post one of these messages more than once each year. Why? Horror Night Nightmares always welcomes NEW members and members that may have not ever been to Halloween Horror Nights yet. These members have no idea who is who, and who knows what, or even how these speculation threads operate. Let's welcome that and let them know without getting into an argument, we all need to help speculation move on and in a way that don't become hostile or argumentative! This is supposed to be a FUN thread to try and figure out what we have in store for us each year. Let's keep it that way! ALL OPINIONS and THOUGHTS are valid, RIGHT or WRONG. If you know someone is wrong, sure you can correct them and help/guide them in the right direction.. BUT DO IT NICELY! That is ALL WE ASK! We don't want to WARN or BAN anyone at all, we try to keep things RELAXED as possible. but if things keep getting out of hand WE WILL WARN YOU, you get 5 POINTS before a ban! Please think before you post, we enjoy the speculation from everyone! Let's keep it fun, please! If anyone feels they have been warned for the wrong reason, please contact me via private message! Back to speculation..

  2. I don't think the "new Age of Darkness" was much more than a marketing ploy... However, having said that, nothing has really been the same since 2010. Were seeing a lot of things that that are new and innovative. But just because we've seen a theme before 2010... doesn't mean we'll never see it again. AC was a red herring in that clue to obfuscate the answer.

  9. Last week I went to Finnegans got a hurricane, then roughly an hour later another hurricane. Let's just say I was fairly drunk, and by fairly I mean really. (I hadn't eaten all day so that contributed a lot). If you're looking for the most bang for your buck I would recommend those, seriously like 80% booze and 20% juice. Make sure you eat first so you're not a drunk fool

  10. Well said Mark and I agree completely. I'm not here to Lord anything over anyone. This should be fun! We want to help out. Especially when the clues are lacking on HHN's side. Back to spec: As Lizz said though on the props. I have not heard any confirmation that ALL zones are roaming so it all depends on what ends up being where. I would like to see Ghosts or the trick r' treaters in CP they just seem to fit there. I would LOVE to see the Skoolhouse back but that is just wishful thinking. Vamps were pulled off really nicely (IMO) in shrek alley in '06. I would love to see the statue vampires back... or flyers. Klowns... eh.... Klowns with Chainsaws... better. Killer Clowns From Outerspace would be killer!. To me it screams hollywood but I honestly couldn't have expected clowns to stay away forever from the event. I was cold to the dragon idea at first. But I have since warmed to the idea. I really think they could pull this off with a stationary area. There just has to be a stationary scare zone SOMEWHERE. I can't imagine CP and Sting alley without something and honestly don't see why those areas would be affected. The others I pretty much already talked about. I have also heard rumblings of an iconic nature.. But if it happens, I don't think it would be marketed. The commercial and approved art are typically done or near done at this point and adding something now would probably either be site specific or in park. IMO I like the story and sure an icons brings it together... but it isn't absolutely needed to tell a story. Doc.. LOL Oh to have Chris Hemsworth's physique though... maybe someday

  12. Ok, so for a good recap of the scare actor groups from what is known from spec. 1 - Vampires 2 - Ghost/LT 3 - Zombies 4 - Dragons 5 - Escaped Prisoners 6 - Trick-or-Treaters 7 - Clowns 8 - Chainsaw Drill Team (female) These I believe are the best descriptions for the groups so far. Since we know a general description of the groups, now to figure out how they will be implemented in the park, what types of characters are going to be in them etc. Not to say anyone else is wrong with what they think, but some who have a very good idea of what these groups will be have directed our thoughts to these answers so far.

  13. For the sake of semantics, the line is "Out for summer, out till fall", but that's just me being an a**. So there are multiple things I want to get across to you. The first, I agree that you're entitled to your opinion and I truly want you to give it if it will help with speculation. That last part to me though is key. I've been trying to avoid all of the bickering going on, as I find it completely unnecessary on a thread about SPECULATION. That being said, there are people on here who are trying to help everyone on this forum by using the information they know to add to the speculation. Without them, this thread would be mostly wishful thinking. If they tell you you're wrong, they're doing it to HELP you. There's no point in going on for pages and pages about an opinion which lacks any plausibility. Keep that to the wishful thinking. It's also unnecessary to be offended by anything that's said to you. We're all here for the same reason, and that's love of HHN. I've held my tongue prior as the best way to avoid bickering is to ignore it. But I do have a reason for saying all of this. I will agree to disagree if the time calls for it, but all you've done is give your opinion with no backing of an argument. The problem this causes is that when multiple people give reasoning as to why you are taking something in the wrong light, and you still form no solid argument for your own idea, it comes across as stubbornness. This is not an attack against you, I'm simply showing you that your argument is poor, and I would like to understand why you believe you're correct. Below are a few reasons why I believe your idea is incorrect. I shouldn't have to, but I ask that you please take this as constructive criticism. First, how do you define a "repeat"? In the form of a scare zone, it would be in the way of a repetition. With this in mind, the idea of an Alice Cooper scare zone would not only be a repetition of the house in Hollywood last year, but would also be a repetition of the house in Hollywood this year, AND the house in Orlando this year. Regardless of the title of the house, Alice Cooper is the IP featured in all three. In this way, an Alice Cooper scare zone is repeating three haunted houses. However, the "traditional Halloween scare zone" in the way you described it sounds unique to the Skoolhouse. If there's no longer a bus, a school, or a playground, then that sounds like less of a repeat to me than an Alice Cooper scare zone. What you're left with are kids in costume, celebrating Halloween. There is no story line, and the characters are as pedestrian as vampires, so it sounds as though nothing about it is a "repeat". The zone fits into the clue because we are a collective of HHN fans. For most of us, our first answer to the clue would have been the Skoolhouse. Due to the inability to have sets for scare zones, which may honestly be a plus to the event, the clue was referring to a group of children celebrating Halloween. Like many have said before, having an Alice Cooper zone for this clue would have been way too obvious, as well as it not being a direct quote. As stated earlier, there are people who have helped with speculation by giving away clues to information or steering people away from being incorrect. They have been correct so far, even with the difficulties occurring over the summer with the event. Doubting them is one thing, but doing it without giving a reason is just odd. In the end, all I ask is that you do two things for me: 1. Explain WHY you think Alice Cooper will have a scare zone. 2. I'm curious as to what you think an Alice Cooper scare zone would resemble, because to me it would just be the same as the house. Please describe. P.S.: Zombies are zombies. Although I agree that the GP will see zombies in the park and think "walkers", that doesn't mean that the roaming zone is a direct tie-in. Also, TV is bad for you, read the graphic novel

  15. You've misinterpreted Dr. Jimmy's clue. He was trying to be clever by using an AC reference for this clue, since AC is a confirmed house. However, like everyone else has said, we're looking at traditional Halloween. Not an Alice Cooper themed zone. Also: Remember that Dr. Jimmy never makes his clues obvious. Using arguably one of Alice Cooper's most recognizable songs for a hint would be far too easy. You have to delve deeper to get to the true meaning. And in this case, it's regarding the second half of his clue.

  16. It's not a repeat of 2008's scarezone...It might have similar costumes and stuff...But a different concept...Like it will be more Halloween themed instead of having a whole "School House" theme..

  17. The phrasing of the clue, specifically the words "comes back", lends itself to being something we've seen. I do not wish to denigrate your guess, but I feel a Skoolhouse/Traditional Trick r Treat style zone is far more likely.

  18. The skool scarezone is one of my favorite memories of HHN, it was amazing, sometimes I would sit near and just listen to the amazing music and watch the actors, it was truly an amazing zone that year, the house was really great, it was truly magical, I would really love if we saw it come back again

  20. We have clues. The person who offered us these clues will neither confirm or deny. You have said you will not confirm things. Do tell us how we are suppose to know we are on the right track in speculation? It is not wishful thinking. It is speculating on the known. Which is 8 statements from Dr. Jimmy. So unless you wish to enlighten us, or provide better clues, then just saying wrong means little to nothing. Or do we have to quantify each of our specs for you? This is why I think....I postulate this because.....Here is my essay written out stating my opinions, why I think they are right, all wrapped up in a conclusive paragraph... Definition of speculation: spec·u·la·tion (spky-lshn) n. 1. a. Contemplation or consideration of a subject; meditation. b. A conclusion, opinion, or theory reached by conjecture. c. Reasoning based on inconclusive evidence; conjecture or supposition.

  21. Since no one has done this already, I decided to make a compilation of the posts for the eight clues from the time of Dr. Jimmy's video until the above post. The first listed are what I believe are correct along with a quick reason. Here's what I found: Free-falling: Vampires - Clue clearly given in the singing of song, Vampires referenced in song. Werewolves I've seen shit that'll turn you white: Ghostbusters - Could be anything paranormal, but apparently an obvious quote There's no more room in hell: Zombie horde - Obvious clue is obvious Lampy swore he saw one: Dragons (mythical beasts) - From what others have said, gargoyles won't be used in a "zone" and a house concurrently, so this fits London (Gargoyles) - I combined two posts for this one The Brave Little Toaster ( ) I'll be seeing you: The Prisoner - Quote with symbol. Could possibly be escaped prisoners. WW2, maybe country/rednecks The Director School's out for summer, but comes back in the fall: Skoolhouse (Please let this be true) - Amazing scare zone and unique to houses Halloween related or Alice When I'm serious, sometimes I'm joking: (K) Clowns - Only given option Lollipop: Lollipop Chainsaw (my personal favorite) - Body Collectors turns to Nightingales, female CDT seems plausible and amazing Something related to the '50s Drive-in theatre

  22. Not to be an insufferable know it all, or even a sufferable one, let me just address the statement I think boogeyman made about those who may have inside knowledge "just telling us". There's a good reason that I only make "cryptic statements" and another good reason that this time I will neither confirm nor deny any guesses. Obviously those who know are hearing things from those who have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements. Hinting and making obscure clues won't put those people in jeopardy, openly saying things will. But, all you out there are dying for some scrap of info, and I think it wouldn't be fair not to give you something, even if it is something cryptic that you have to try and figure out. Also it makes the whole speculation thing a lot more fun. It builds anticipation, without out and out spoiling the whole thing. We wouldn't want to ruin all the fun and games before we even start playing them now, do we?
