JDW
A glamorous masquerade ball is revealed to be a macabre dance of death. When the masks come off and the stitches are ripped away you’ll find that beauty may be skin deep, but horror oozes much deeper.
lunatic
this is a very interesting concept, i hope the masks or makeup looks amazing.
Cooger and Dark
If Uni pulls off a better version of this: Then I would say we are all set for a good time. The stitches thing has me especially intrigued.
mystiquephreeq
From the blog:"It is grand in scale there are elements above your head while this off-putting yet harsh waltz music plays."Above? Hmmmm, like the flying monkeys?!!! Must not get hopes up.
ThNdIzNiR
Without stating the obvious, I think that the key to this zone being really good hinges on 3 things... makeup/prosthetics, quality costumes/clothing and acting ability. If 2 or more of those attributes are lacking, it probably won't be too impressive. However, I do have faith that they'll pull it off. Brandon
I have a feeling that this zone will be VERY similar to Blood Masquerade from 2006, except instead of vampires they will have stitched up skin. If they do it as good as they did in 2006 then it will be amazing.
Legacy
I would expect it to be more like Esquilito Muerte... only gory instead of day-glo.
JackTheREAPER
I have posted these pictures before but this is pretty much what they're doing, and if the costumes are anything like these than it'll be a great scarezone! Ande
I believe this is the first construction from this zone! A chandelier? http://twitter.com/MickeyXtreme/status/505731097637187584/photo/1
Legacy
That would make sense. They described the zone as an "eternal dance." Edited August 30, 2014 by Legacy
JDW
At first glance, this may seem like a normal ballroom, but guests will be terrified when they see human heads inside oversized candles, appendages dangling in the streets and human faces ripped right from skulls with bloody remains still intact. Coast
Anyone else think there might be some sort of dropping gag to it like Phantom of the Opera? I'm probably wrong but that's the first thing I thought when I saw it that high on cables.. Its interesting for sure. Arsik_22
I wonder how this zone will be different from the Hollywood version? Yours will most likely be way more elaborate. Our scarezones aren't very good with a few exceptions (Clowns, Welcome to Hell, Freaks, and a few others) because the same props are reused every single year and the only new thing is the costumes most of the time. ForeverEvil1
I wonder how this zone will be different from the Hollywood version? Hollywood's is based around the fact that the people in the masquerade are cannibals in disguise. Orlando's is based around the fact that the people in the masquerade are oddly stitched freaks and killers. Really, they aren't too similar besides the masquerade ball concept. Dr. Jimmy
Looks like I should have kept the original stage lyrics to "Masquerade" in my cryptic performance with the reference "to the new chandelier". I just couldn't help throwing in the Red Herring to pimp those expecting Insidious!

electraheart
I'm in a love/hate relationship with these candles, a part of me feels like it's over the top cheese, the other part of me thinks this will be really cool in person, hoping for the best!
Guest kiwisoup
I'm wondering if/how it will be lit up for the event...
Legacy
Flame effect inside with likely a red or gold (or both) patterned focused front and like a bright backlight. The fact that it's white leads me to believe it may have somewhat colorful lighting.
