Brianb14 Posted October 31, 2015 Share Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) I haven't been on this site in forever, and although I didn't get to attend USH this year (first time I haven't gone in at least 4-5 years!), I did get to go to Halloween Horror Nights Singapore. For anyone curious about HHN 'round the world, they're very different events. While Hollywood is overall a scarier event with more to see and do, Singapore's theming, attention to detail and decor kills USH. I couldn't believe how detailed the sets and costumes/make-up were! And the event was at the pinnacle of creativity. It was a great experience, and it was fun to see how it compared to Hollywood. For anyone interested, I posted a review of USS in its forum page under reviews. Hope I'll be able to be back at Hollywood next year! Enjoyed everyone's reviews of the Hollywood event this year; living vicariously through y'all! I am disappointed to hear that the event (to some) wasn't that great this year... Has anyone figured out whether or not Jabawockeez are just doing the photo op and having the other groups perform on the stage inside? we were talking to a worker in the city walk universal store and he said everyone keeps saying photo ops but nothing if they are performing or not. One of the people who knew the line-up this year has said that TWD and FVJ are a lock for next year. We probably knew that already haha. Supposedly FVJ will be the flagship house going in 747. What he is saying was already what I and many others would have said when speculation eventually opened up. He did know the lineup for this year, but it's ludacris that things for next year a for certain. He knew regardless of when it came to Hollywood, it would do well ratings wise. Plus, they already have two Freddy vs Jason shirts, some towels, mug holders, etc ready so that would save money in terms of designing the merch for that property just like Halloween and AWIL. Murdy normally takes a vacation right after the event ends although he may have a few thoughts running through his don't think things are locked down (though TWD at this point is locked till Daryl dies and everyone hates the show lol) though with all the people asking for FVJ I'm positive we will see it but the process is nowhere near even signing the paperwork.
