Dark Legions: Vampires

So random off the wall question. I know I'm with the rat lady at the front of the park in front of this zone. ( and since I figured this would be the best place to ask this ) I don't think I'm going to be one of her escorts, but do you think they are going to make us vampires cause were close to that? Or if not what characters will we be

I have never been a fan of vampires, but I do appreciate the wide variety of costumes in this hoarde. I will have to make more of an effort to track down the vampires to see them in action more than I have already done so. My best experience was having a group of them walk through the store while I was inside.

The hordes all have their own rotation and go to a different location each set, but the second cast usually takes over for the first one in a particular spot. So it's more like 90 minute sets of each type of monster in one location, with each legion visiting up to 4 or 5 locations in a night (depending on closing time and delays due to weather).

So did you end up being one of her escorts...?

something funny that happened Friday is that there was a blonde guy with a pony tail, leather jacket and black pants, he was walking by where the Mummy is, but he was not an actor lol, I saw him from behind so I thought the Vampires were coming out, but he wasn't

I had a fanboy nerdgasm saturday when i was heading to Kidzone... the vampires were out in Hollywood and there was a vampire that i saw hop up onto the bench infront of HMU in a crouching stance. I stopped.. back tracked a few steps, looked over at him... sure enough, the mask he was wearing was that of "The Master" from Season 1 of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

So yea.. the shirtless vampire is great, but i'll be getting a pic with the Buffy villain vampire lol

My boyfriend and I sat by Shrek tonight to watch the Vampires do their thing. We had one guy approach us, threatening to bite us so my boyfriend offered him my fanta. Then he offered me instead lol I said I wasn't his blood type. That seemed to amuse him. We interacted with him a few more times before we left. Very fun guy. I'll definitely keep an eye out for him on future visits.

i actually nearly love this horde because of the actors (im talking to the nosferatu who scared me in CP early thursday and the one who scared my girlfriend in NY during the 2nd hour of EP) and there costumes (not being re-used and not stupid like other hordes >.>) but the only problem is every time i meet this horde is when the sun is still out. Which is very funny to ask them why they aren't getting burned or dying and before some people say that it doesn't harm this specific horde for some odd reason, in the Horror Unearthed game the whole game was to go in your coffin before the sun kills you. So yeah it's the only problem about having vampires out in the streets throws me out of it a little but still there great fun and variety.

At least they don't sparkle in the daylight.

I kind of wish there was some nod to sparkling vampires... Could have done something to make it really funny like make it look like all the other vampires were beating him up or something like that.

shame on you

(besides, they did use those vampires for Bill and Ted, they used twilight on the show like 2 years in a row

Had a great time watching this legion in multiple locations last night. FINALLY got to interact a bit with the hooded Master - a long overdue pleasure! I saw on FB that Gloria Estefan was one of the vampires last night. I truly don't know if we interacted or not, but there were SO many of the ladies on the attack last night, I just had a blast with them all! And... I could swear I saw Angel in Central Park. Who I don't remember seeing before. But thoroughly enjoyed the exchange and soulful glances. So... if I can't have a minion, or a conquistador, or a warrior for Christmas - I want a Christmas Angel.

On my visit I was wandering around Sting Alley and a vampire in, what looked like, American Civil War military garb snarled at me from the shadows. It was too dark to decipher if it was a Union or Confederate uniform. I stared at him for a while and even asked what side of the nation he was on but of course I didn't get an answer.

What is the reference here? The "Nicholas Cage is a Vampire" hokum that sprouted earlier this year (or was it last year?) or the Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter movie (which I didn't see)?
