  1. I can confirm that they had access to the movie, they streamed a copy over to the theater at Citywalk for A&D to watch.

  3. In my opinion Makeup is better for the actor. Id rather have prosthetic's on so I can show expression. One thing that I love is the expression on a scareactors face. Masks are just so bland to me. Its just my opinion.

  4. I think the houses and street experience is going to be amazing this year from what we've seen thus far, but the marketing this year quite frankly has sucked. The website is horrid, the one commercial is okay, the billboards are bland, and even though I like the posters on the gate it seems like we won't get a video either. I feel like my excitement this year is definitely more self generated than due to anything they've done marketing wise. It might have something to do with I don't like how The Walking Dead is taking the forefront. I get the reasons, but it doesn't do anything for me. Just my opinion.

  6. When I was watching them during the rehearsal they where in full costume with the chain saws! From what I saw they where practicing surrounding people they where screaming very loudly and it was very freaky!

  7. I was at Blue Man this past Saturday night (late showing) and got to see the front gate all lit up with music playing. It was awesome! The little wooden shacks below the archways were lit by red lights from the inside, and the music was a creepy sounding gregorian chant. It looked like they were testing lighting and fog in the streets as well, but didn't see any actors in the streets unfortunately. It was nice to enjoy some pre-HHN ambiance with literally nobody around

  10. Yeah I know, I was just saying it would be nice but pretty much impossible.

  11. That is exactly one of the many reasons masks make much more sense than makeup. Make up also runs and smudges in the humidity and heat. On a television show between shots the make up crew can come out and touch actors up, scareactors doing a 45 minute set at a time in a house = no time for touch ups to be had until they go on break. And then you've got a huge cast where touch ups aren't practical given time constraints and the number of make up artists available. When it comes to make up versus masks, lets also not forget, the lines in the houses move by at the speed of light...no one gets more than a few seconds of a glimpse at a scareactor before they are moving onward. In that split second when you see the scareactor, I wouldn't think the main thought in your mind would be "Man, they should've used make up".

  12. I don't think it's only costs. IT takes a lot of time to do makeup like that. Time I don't think they really have since they have so many people.

  13. So we have the bunny mask...I wonder what else there will be...it's so exciting, 5 days and we'll know!

  14. I for one lean toward makeup, but only because it makes such a big difference. I mean look at the difference here: The ones from the show look so much more realistic. Yes I understand the cost, was just showing how much of an impact makeup has compared to masks.

  15. While I was watching the rehearsals for hhn I kept getting distracted by the amount of fog and lighting effects comming from the lagoon area!! I could even see the fog and lighting effects from the stage on citywakk

  16. It looks like it's this one? EDIT: Nope, the one from the media event is not that one. Back to the hunt!

  17. that would be pretty great, if all the workers had some kind of costume, didn't even have to be too much, just a little bit of make up and different clothes, I would like that, I just wonder how much that would cost them, it sounds like a nice Idea but I would rather have more scarezones too, but it would be really cool I mean, the custodial already wear bloody shirts,

  18. Unknowing that rehearsals was last night and i heard some of them and let's just say this year will be awesome. I wish I can tell you some but where is the fun in that? But the actors' were on their A game it sounds like all they need is an audience.

  19. In the video I watched there was a room with two or three fake nurses... Pretty sure there will be a few real ones that will really fill up the space.

  20. I can't wait for this house I'm a huge P&T fan and for them actually to be in the house themselves just made this house even more awesome! Iknow that they will be there opening night does any one know when the select nights are?

  22. He's right...the videos really don't give much away at all. So for those of you who dying to see them but are afraid that your going to ruin your initial experience with each house, no need to fret, that will not happen. So, come on, give into peer pressure and watch them, all us cool kids are doing it....

  23. THANK YOU! Without watching the video, I now know the one thing that HAS to happen in the house, and can make a 90min wait in line worth it, is that siren. Makes my willpower that much stronger to not watch it...until Friday after Happy Hour when I'll be powerless to resist

  25. I went to the Fright Feast at HOS in 09. The sliders were out and there was no one else around except me and my husband. Further, they could tell I was afraid of them. Needless to say I had like 8 sliders come at me at once and chase me from that area. If you want to see them really move, head to the Fright Feast when the park is empty and don't run away from them. The shovel scares from years past also achieved the same type of scare in me. Give me trash can lids, shaker cans, shovels and sliders on the street and I am one happy haunt fan. Scared, but happy.
