  1. Yeah it seems like the Sunday - Thursday night crowds have been insane this year (most likely due to the cheaper FFP option, and cheaper single night option in comparison to Friday and Saturday night prices). Hoping to finally knock out my Order of Four and some 5 in 1's tonight (doing Stay & Scream obviously).
  2. Heard it was definitely an AOLS night last night. I am heading that way this evening so hopefully they have had their fill and will stay at home tonight.
  3. You guys/gals that are at 1,000,000 points or closing in on it are absolutely crazy! I can't even begin to fathom the amount of time you all have put into playing the online games :-)
  4. Yeah that's what I have been hearing too. It's gotta be the difference in ticket prices. Cheaper tickets on Sun-Thurs = annoyingly HUGE crowds...
  5. Whomever is in that boo-hole right after the doors to the right gets someone in my group every time we walk through (mucho props). You and the rooftop actors (close to Merle's hand) have the best hiding spots in the house (although Sheriff isn't too shabby either). I always point out Merle's hand to anyone new that is walking through the house and the actor hiding back there always get em :-) For the actors that are forced to be in "open" locations, I kind of wish that a different kind of scare would be provided by you (and mainly having to do with your scene). Zombies are (supposedly) only concerned about eating you, so I wish there was a sense of relentless pursuit from the "open-air" actors (since we can see them anyways), with the only thing stopping them from eating you is a "barrier" in their scene (like a fence, table, etc). This would give this house a great mix of startle scares (ie the hospital exit, rooftop, sheriff, etc) and foreboding scares that you can see from a mile away but have to walk through regardless. Currently, the open-air actors just kind of stand around and look at you (a potential meal) as you walk by, or the more energetic ones lunge at you, and then reset, as in a standard house. Standard zombie behavior should not involve lunging and resetting, it would involve the relentless pursuit of human flesh with only their surroundings limiting them (which bucks the philosophy of most SA practice in most houses). I think by leaving the lunging/startle scares to the hidden actors, and having the "open-air" actors reaching, scraping at whatever hinderance is in front of them and/or constantly trying to get after the human passers-by, the flow and overall feel of the house would be significantly improved. The open-air actors would probably be even more exhausted than they already are if they had to reach, and come at guests non-stop for 45 minutes at a time haha.
  6. I have yet to go to the event on a Friday or Saturday (besides opening weekend) this year, but it seems like the Sunday - Thursday crowds are now overtaking the "peak night" crowds in terms of numbers (at least from what I am hearing). Having 120 minute wait times on a Sunday is proof in the pudding. Can anyone who has gone on a Friday or Saturday recently chime in with the average wait times? I'd be curious to see if the wait times on non-peak nights are more ridiculous than the peak night wait times (on average). I'd wager to guess that they are, most likely due to the FFP and overall cheaper ticket prices for single night tickets on Sun-Thurs.
  7. AOLS = Army Of Little Shits Used in a sentence: "Well, looks like it's gonna be another AOLS night at HHN this evening..."
  8. Last Sunday was atrocious (crowd-wise) but at least there isn't a holiday on Monday this week. Here's to hoping that the army of little shits doesn't descend upon HHN for you guys and gals venturing out on Sunday.
  9. If you look to the right in that hallway (through the mesh grate), you can see Pyramid Head coming at you as he makes his way into his main room. It's actually pretty scary if you catch it with the right timing, mainly because you aren't expecting to see him there. I happened to glance over there the last time we went through and he was methodically making his way towards us as he walked into his room.
  10. Alice soundtrack is one of my favorites :-) Glad to see they have a support email setup for the game/scanner issues now. Hope to see more of this type of interaction at future events.
  11. Hey armyofrobots, which character are you in the house? I think you are in the hospital scene but not sure which actor you are (out of the 3 in that scene).
  12. I knew I saw it opening weekend but I have been looking for it ever since and haven't been able to see it. I'll definitely check out the hallway next time I go through the house.
  13. Really enjoying the new game (at least it involves some iota of skill and not dumb luck haha). It looks like you can't shoot at the shadow people as they appear or else you will miss. Gonna take a few times to gauge the proper shooting distance, but I can see myself playing this one quite a bit (without it feeling like a grind)
  14. I feel really bad for the first few actors in this house (Pretty much everyone before the end of the chain link fence section). There are no hiding places for you and the costumes you have been given are suspect at best... Good job working with what you got though.
  15. I didn't care for the streets at all Opening Weekend, but they have gotten significantly better each and every time I have gone back. Keep on rockin!
  16. Had a great time in this house Sunday night. Due to the crowds, even the Express line was a good twenty minutes (well worth the wait though). Red button was working during our run and the bride and groom were together as one (as they should be). Someone got me with the last water gag in the buffet line and that water is gettin kinda "ripe" if you catch my drift haha.
  17. We hit this house first on Sunday night and had the entire house to ourselves (which is freaking incredible if anyone gets the chance). Got a double wolfman attack from both sides (perfect timing BTW) and Bride of Dracula got us 3 times in her room. Missed the Dracula at the end of the hall, but he got Wesker (who was walking behind us). Got to see the entire Frankenstein rampage scene (I didn't know he actually busts through the "wooden" slats in the hallway, super cool scene) and the finale was as epic as it ever was. Getting completely surrounded by classic monster faces is more intimidating than it sounds haha. Thanks to all the actors in this house for making it one of my favorites of the year. I hope to see you many more times before the event is finished.
  18. Holy hell it was packed on Sunday night. A horde of lil shits running around acting like fools, but our group still had a blast (thank heavens for Express). Got to hang out and chat with Dr Jimmy and Wesker in Finnegan's for a bit too. It was great running into you guys!
  19. Memory is my go to, as it's the most fun (and actually involves some iota of mental capacity in lieu of blindly clicking). Hopefully the next games will take the Memory game route instead of the brutally frustrating "blind luck" route...
  20. I've been through the house at least 5 times so far and have only ever seen two wolfmen in their scene. The one on the right covers some serious ground though (back and forth behind his fence) so maybe it just appeared that there were 3 in there.
  21. Just knocked out about 55 Morphan wins today to get my 100 wins badge... I never want to see this, or the Cerebin game EVER again...
  22. While not as terrible as the Cerebin game, this new Morphan game is going to definitely be a GRIND to the 100 wins badge. I'm trying to space it out to 25 wins a day. That's all my mind will allow since it is such a plodding experience....
  23. The makeup/prosthetics on the "little girl" near the entrance was awesome. A million times better than a mask imo... Thanks Universal for giving us a least one proper walker makeup :-)
