  1. My newly improved speculation map. 2. I say it goes in the old Parade Building. Don't @ me.
  3. Because I don't follow speculation maps, and don't agree with them since they can be wrong from time-to-time, I've put together my own speculation map based on already-announced houses. Feel free to disagree. Stranger Things - Soundstage 22 Trick 'r Treat - Sprung Tent 2 Dead Exposure: Patient Zero - Sprung Tent 1 Slaughter Sinema - Shrek 4D Theater 2 Also, aren't we supposedly getting our next house announcement tomorrow? YEARS ATTENDED & FAVORITE HOUSES HHN XXV - JACK PRESENTS 25 YEARS OF MONSTERS & MAYHEM HHN XXVI - HALLOWEEN: HELL COMES TO HADDONFIELD HHN XXVII - SCARECROW: THE REAPING
  4. If this is indeed going in Sprung 2, then this will be the first house in that spot since 2014 where the façade won't be an actual house (Hive counts for me since it was pretty much the front door for a house). YEARS ATTENDED & BEST HOUSES HHN XXV - JACK PRESENTS 25 YEARS OF MONSTERS & MAYHEM HHN XXVI - HALLOWEEN: HELL COMES TO HADDONFIELD HHN XXVII - SCARECROW: THE REAPING
  5. Skip school on the 13th, head to Sapphire Falls, and just chill for the day. Then the next day, take the bus to the Studio, watch Horror Make-Up Show, then head to Finnegan's Stay-N-Scream and wait for 5:30 to come!
  6. Here's mine. I've been going since 2015. 7. 1. okey 2. okey 3. I hope so. This sounds like a really good house, and I don't want the location it's going in to be what ruins it.
  8. 1. I looked through Legacy's twitter, their blog posts, and his Talking Head video. He didn't say anything about it going in a sprung. 2. Where do you get the information that "confirms" where the houses are going? Also, if it does go in a sprung, that gets me worried. We all know how Blumhouse was in a tent, and while this sounds like a really good house, I'm worried a tent wouldn't be big enough.
  9. So you got people saying it'll go in Sprung 2, then you have people saying it'll be in the new parade building, then you got me and a couple of my friends saying it'll go in the Shrek theater. l o g I c
  10. Can someone tell me why many think this will go in Sprung 2? This sounds like a moderately-sized house... I personally think it'll go in Shrek.
  11. Nope, now they're spook-ifying ET Adventure into Stranger Things Adventure!
  12. IOA isn't being used this year, and will probably never be used for HHN again.
  13. Do we have any idea of where Stranger Things will be going? I personally think it's going where The Shining was.
  14. I feel that tomorrow will be our first house announcement thanks to that being the beginning of spring break in the area.
  15. Because I'm too lazy to dig through the 24 pages of this thread, can someone give me a rundown of the current rumored line-up? 16. 2015: The Walking Dead: The Living and The Dead- Out of the 3 years I've been, this is still the worst house I've ever been through. Not a single good scare, the façade was garbage, and... do I even need to say anything about the bathtub scene? 2016: The Exorcist- Now, I know, a lot of people loved this house because of how accurate it was to the movie, I agree. But just... too many dummies. Really again, not many good scares, but a couple of them were pretty good. (For now) 2017: The Horrors of Blumhouse- Holy crap, this house is awful. After watching Sinister, I was so excited to see some of those murder scenes... we got a projector and a hallway full of Mr. Boogies, The Purge is generic and nothing but a single room and hallway, and Insidious is WAY too long. Only 1 or 2 good scares in this house. Favorite Houses HHN 25- Jack Presents 25 Years of Monsters & Mayhem HHN 26- Halloween: Hell Comes To Haddonfield (For Now) HHN 27- Saw: The Games of Jigsaw
  17. I think because of the recent tragedy that happened in Vegas, that in The Purge section of the house, they're going to either remove or change the weapon of the purge member that comes through a door and start shooting her gun, who else agrees? Favorite Houses HHN25- Jack Presents 25 Years of Monsters & Mayhem HHN26- Halloween: Hell Comes To Haddonfield HHN27- Saw: The Games of Jigsaw (for now)
  18. This year was INCREDIBLE! All houses but one which I'll get to later were the best houses I've seen! Not too much to say about scare zones unfortunately... House Rankings #1- Saw: The Games of Jigsaw- This was my most anticipated house of the year, and it does NOT disappoint! The scares were very good, guest-activated triggers everywhere, we saw Billy on his bike... only real complaints are 1) No real façade and 2) No John Kramer or Gordan Lawrence game over scare #2- Scarecrow: The Reaping- Hands down the best original house they've ever done (Unless you include Jack's house from 2015 which was both OP and IP), the sets were very creepy, the detail is amazing, and the scares are perfect! Main Complaint: They said guys 6 feet and taller, and so far, the first half was guys 5"9 to 5"11 and second half is where all the big dudes were. #3- Ash Vs. Evil Dead- This is the greatest comedy house of all time. The details will make you laugh like crazy, "HELLO PUSSIES!", and Ashy Slashy at the very end made me burst out laughing! The biggest complaint I've heard and 100% agree with is: None of the Ash scareactors look anything like him! #4- The Shining- This house was freakin' awesome! From the very-well hidden scares, to the actors they got for Wendy and Jack Torrance looking exactly like them, to the very well done Blood Elevator and Here's Johnny! Only real complaint is the façade not being the Overlook Hotel itself #5- Dead Waters- *Preps self up for all the hate Ima get for ranking this a bit lower* This house was incredible, don't get me wrong. Visually it's probably the best house they've ever done, only real problem is it's a very short house, Walking Dead and Body Collectors felt much longer, not too many scares, and while the Voodoo Queen does appear in it, she can be quite hard to spot. #6- The Fallen- Once again, this is a very visually stunning house! Some really good scares in it, detail is amazing, has the same problem with Dead Waters with not many scares, and it seemed more like walking through a cathedral full of demons rather than being in the middle of a battle between angels and demons. #7- American Horror Story- This house was very well done, pretty hidden scares, and an air-conditioned queue line! Biggest problems are definitely the lack of really iconic scenes, a lot more Asylum than Coven and Roanoke, and missing some characters. But other than that, still a pretty good house! #8- Hive- This house would've been a lot better had they gotten more time to build it, but unfortunately there was the big problem with Conjuring and they had to pull it out for this. Story-wise, it's okay I guess... two biggest problems are 1) The façade is the worst façade of all time and 2) The scares being very repetitive. #9- The Horrors of Blumhouse- Hands down one of the worst houses in HHN history. They said both Sinister films, all 3 Purge films, and all 3 Insidious' and a sneak peek of The Last Key, the Sinister part was pretty good since it was straight out of the film, The Purge was nothing but a room and a hallway, and after watching the 3 Insidious films and seeing the trailer for the new one, none of the Insidious section made any sense. Scare Zones Rankings #1- The Purge- Now I know what you're all saying: "Dude what you talking about? It's the exact same scare zone from 2014, man!!11!" Yes, I know, other than the woodchipper it's nothing but a carbon copy of the 2014 scare zone, but I didn't attend that year and can't say anything about it. So because of that, this scare zone for me was VERY good! #2- Trick 'r Treat- After previously watching the film, this scare zone was FREAKIN' AWESOME! It directly follows the stories in the movie, the scareactors look exactly like the characters, and they were very interactive! All I'm gonna say for this scare zone is that I think it would've been better as a full house. #3- Invasion!- After reading the plot of this scare zone, I already knew it was gonna be great, and it was! Now, just because it's at 3/5 doesn't mean it's a bad zone, it was still really good, I just found the first 2 to be better! M'kay? #4- Altars of Horror- This scare zone didn't really intrigue me at first and it still doesn't. It's pretty much just a photo-op, well actually, no! It's NOTHING but a photo-op! The only reason this isn't #5 is that my boi Jigsaw was in here and me and him played our own little game! #5- Festival of the Deadliest- Horrible scare zone. The scareactors are doing nothing but roaming around and growling at people, no real theme other than the soul collecting! Shows Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Farewell Tour- 5/5 Academy of Villains: Afterlife- Haven't seen it yet, gonna wait for the full stage to be reset Favorite Houses HHN 25- Jack Presents 25 Years of Monsters & Mayhem HHN 26- Halloween: Hell Comes To Haddonfield HHN 27- Saw: The Games of Jigsaw
  19. Well actually my dear HHN fanboy, a new concept art has emerged and it is showing that yes, the parade building will be demolished for Nintendo, however, the two tents are indeed safe! And a new parade building is actually planned to be built back there as the new house location! Favorite Houses HHN 21- Nightengales: Blood Prey HHN 22- Penn & Teller New(kd) Las Vegas 3D HHN 23- The Cabin in the Woods HHN 24- Halloween HHN 25- Jack Presents 25 Years of Monsters & Mayhem HHN 26- Halloween: Hell Comes To Haddonfield
  20. Houses: #1- Saw: The Games of Jigsaw- Just finished watching all the movies recently and MAN do I love them! The plot twists are mind-blowing, and the traps are so gruesome yet so unique and cool! Plus it's going in the Shrek theater and Asylum was a pretty good house and I absolutely loved Krampus, plus I spoke to #MattCorn and he said he walked through and said that it's probably the best IP house this year! #Saw #Hype #2- The Fallen- After reading the plot and looking at the concept art for this house, I immediately fell in love. I've seen videos of Gothic from #HHN22 and that house looked amazing! Hoping for this to be an amazing sequel to it. But main reason of hype for this house are the flying gargoyles they mentioned. 'Nuff said. #Fallen #Hype #3- Ash Vs. Evil Dead- Just recently I finished watching both seasons and there are amazing and hilarious moments in every episode! I laughed my head off in each episode and plus, I'm terrified of chainsaws. And plus knowing that this will be the comedy house this year, I am even more hyped! #Ash #Hype #4- Scarecrow: The Reaping- I am absolutely TERRIFIED of scarecrows, and knowing that they are gonna be towering over me at 6 feet and higher, I will more than likely scream in this house more than once. #Scarecrows #Hype #5- Dead Waters- I have watched multiple videos of Bayou of Blood and the human sacrifice show they did, and it all looked like so much fun! And knowing that this will be a sequel to it in the form of a house and that the Voodoo Queen herself will appear in it, I am absolutely HYPED! And... there better be a live human sacrifice at the end. #DeadWaters #Hype #6- American Horror Story: Volume 2- Just recently, I finished watching Asylum and Coven. Asylum was an incredible season being both super creepy and ominious, yesterday I finished up Coven and while it was still really good, I can see if it'll be the shortest section in the house. And I am nearly done with Roanoke and I can see why many people have been calling it the weakest season. Pretty predictable, no epic intro with the amazing song, and it just feels very different. #7- The Shining- Now don't get me wrong. I am still super excited for this house, mostly because I want to see in person "Here's Johnny" as well as the creepy hedge maze, and of course the Blood Elevator, Twins, and All Work and No Play. But other than that, not much in the movie I'm interested in seeing in the house. The room 237 scene really isn't that creepy, and the rest of the movie is more just Jack and Wendy arguing. So, I am still excited, but not as much for the others. #Shining #StillHyped #8- Hive- This is one of those houses that I feel is gonna be a little meh, mostly for two reasons. One, it seems like it's just gonna be a normal vampire-themed maze, and two, I'm worried about the house itself considering we know it was supposed to be Conjuring. Don't want another Scream Being Purged scenario. #9- The Horrors of Blumhouse- I think we can all agree on this. We're already getting the exact same Purge scare zone as we did in #HHN24 and we've already had Purge as a house, and it wasn't even that good! (Well to be fair, it was supposed to be Scream but it was still Purge!) Insidious we had a house 2 years ago, and Sinister doesn't really catch my attention, but I'll state my opinion once I watch the first movie tomorrow. Plus this is going where Lunatic's Playground was and we all know how that house went... #Blumhouse #Meh #10- The Repository- Now I don't actually know if The Repository is returning or not, but for a few minutes it was on the site and whether or not it was by accident, if it is indeed returning and they didn't mean to put it up yet, I saw what it said and it sounds like the exact same Repository from last year, which don't get me wrong I did really like, but it definitely had problems. And if the exact same house is returning with no fixes, then I won't be too excited when doing it on my RIP tour. #Repository #NoHype Scare Zones: #1- Trick 'r Treat- I just finished watching the movie yesterday and it was incredible! From how all the stories tie together, to the cute yet creepy Sam, this is bound to be a good scare zone! My only concern is it's going in Central Park and for the last 2 years, Lair of the Banshee and Evil Roots were the worst scare zones in my opinion. #Sam #Hype #2- Invasion!- After walking through the San Francisco area yesterday and seeing all the props, this scare zone is definitely gonna be freaking awesome! From the 50's-style aliens that will be walking through it, to the UFO that will hopefully have fire coming out of it since it's crashed, and the alien experimentation on humans they talked about! Only problem is, it seems the scare zone is gonna be really tight again and that's what made Dead Man's Wharf last year not that great. #50'sAliens #Hype #3- Altars of Horror- I know what a lot of you are probably gonna say, we've already had this scare zone tons of times, last year we had A Chance in Hell which for me was the 2nd best scare zone behind Survive or Die, and we've had many stage scare zones in the past and this isn't looking to be any different. But, the thought of talking and interacting with characters like Jigsaw, Jack Torrance, or Ash makes me super hyped for this scare zone! #Altars #Hype #4- Festival of the Deadliest- This scare zone isn't catching my attention much. It sounds like it's just gonna be a bunch of Soul Collectors running around! #Festival #Meh #5- The Purge- This is gonna be the exact same scare zone from #HHN24 and we're already having Purge in a house. 'Nuff said. #Purge #NoHype I have attended #HHN21, #HHN22, #HHN23, #HHN24, #HHN25, #HHN26, #GonnaAttendHHN27 Halloween Horror Nights XXI Favorite House- Nightengales: Blood Prey Halloween Horror Nights XXII Favorite House- Penn & Teller New(kd) Las Vegas 3D Halloween Horror Nights XXIII Favorite House- The Cabin in the Woods Halloween Horror Nights XXIV Favorite House- Halloween Halloween Horror Nights XXV Favorite House- Jack Presents 25 Years of Monsters & Mayhem Halloween Horror Nights XXVI Favorite House- Halloween: Hell Comes To Haddonfield
