  1. I FINALLY had candy last night in Kid's Zone. Of course, Rosie did end up with the bulk of the batch (at least the batch she knew about). However, I did stand my ground - so to speak - even though she and Dead Uncle Fred were having a very unpleasant conversation about me. And they didn't even have the courtesy to do it behind my back!! Well, that's a story for another time... Nonetheless, my resistance withstood the onslaught, and I successfully delivered the long promised candy to my ballerina! I was so happy to hear that it was her favorite, too! I was glad to hear their very tall "guardian" is pleased that we are also looking after their children. ... to all the Traditionals in Kids Zone last night, you were truly amazing, fun, and totally on point. Thanks for yet another genuinely delightful night! <3
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWabM9YzRqY YES I DO!! One more night... <3 omg, I just realized I totally forgot to look for our cheerleader last night. Please extend my apologies, and I heart her! And thanks to everyone for giving such a great experience to the friend I brought through with me last night!! She really enjoyed it! <3
  3. When you feel like you have to say, "It's not you, it's me"... to a house... you might be an HHN fanatic.

  4. I think this is where I stand: 1. Alice Cooper - Surprise!!! 2. Gothic - I've always loved a stoner party. 3. The Walking Dead - a walker gauntlet just does something to a girl. Nerdgasm. 4. House of Horrors - I just love how the performers took lemons and made Barcardi Limon. 5. Dead End - terror has a new home; I kicked it out of my basement. 6. Penn & Teller - my undead, erm, undying love to Elvis and the Clown. 7. Silent Hill - as I said somewhere else - because someone has to be 7. Gratitude and applause for all the great work this year
  5. I guess I fall into the camp of having a problem with the individuals instead of the alcohol. The vast majority of folks I know don't become abusive when drunk, and I have surely been known to enjoy a frosty beverage or dozen myself. I also recognize the financial implications for Uni of alcohol - not only the cost of the drinks, but the way that alcohol tends to loosen up the purse strings for everything else. However, the safety of the actors, I agree, is of paramount importance. (Our own safety as well, of course, but they are most often the targets of abuse). I would be interested in hearing any of their viewpoints, since I think the situation may affect them most significantly.
  6. I also noticed something going on with our vampires in Central Park - late, I guess sometime after midnight. I saw an actor running up to security/OPD, and then tons of people standing around trying to get a glimpse of what was going on. I didn't want to contribute to a gawker's block, so I moved on, but I really hope everyone is okay now and the culprit is apprehended, and toast. I've tried to address security attentiveness to our actors in surveys, and I hope they will ramp up do what they should to keep them safe. Only three more nights - I know we all love our weeks with you the scareactors, but your well-being is most important. Thank you for facing this crap that should never be in the first place, and watch your backs.
  7. You get to touch Magic Mike? Heck, I may have to check out the show after all...
  8. I feel so bad! Every time I see my favorite trick or treater, I don't have any candy. Every time I have candy, I don't see my favorite trick or treater. Halloween, I promise! Pinky swear. <3
  9. omg. I did the walker gauntlet. omg omg omg. That was one of the most frickin' awesome experiences ever. And that last dark haired walker totally rocks donkey socks. I can die happy now. omg omg omg omg omgomgomgomgomg....... (R.I.P. Steve)
  10. You know several of those earlier posts? About how awesome this house and the cast is? Yeah. More of that. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. (Love you guys and gals!) <3 <3 <3
  11. Well, who the heck do you think is responsible for that??? (Always good get attacked by you!)
  12. Okay, according to Alice's website, he has concerts in the UK on Saturday, Sunday and Halloween (amongst many other dates). While I can't imagine he would pop over here to Orlando for just one night, just for HHN... if he DOES show up tonight, somebody really oughta please please text, email, PM, FB, whatever - me. I don't care how crowded or how rainy, my sorry/happy butt will be there!
  13. This is always so fun to hang out with this Legion! Got to spend time with them in Central Park, IN Central Park ("I love when they can't run away") and Hollywood. Thanks for the multiple shout outs and offers to procure body parts for me, as well as the request for an invisible person. Oh, and I loved seeing the awesome tat - wreaked Havoc on my entire evening! I love in your face, and it's hard to get more in your face than this group. Women folk, as always, I salute and thank you!
  14. Went through here for the first time in quite awhile - far too long. Cast B never fails to delight. Finally was targeted by the Weeping Ang.., erm, statue at the edge of the facade. Nice attack! Also had some truly delightul interactions with the gargoyles in the second scene - especially the one on the left, who offered special and fun greetings on both sides of his abode! Never can get enough of the drop door gargoyle - although our interaction time was far too brief!. Ah, my bell ringer. You have continued to up the creep factor, which I didn't think was possible. It was a delight and pleasure to proffer my heart for yet another pass through the bell tower. And for the first time in all my runs, I finally saw the gargoyle fly across the starry night. That was - really beautiful, actually. Impressive. I wish I had more time to spend here, but thank you for allowing me to both enter and exit the cathedral yet again!
  15. I had a neat run through with cast B last night. Everyone was on point, and the scares were fun as always. I love Dracula's cape flourish (now you see me...). Also got more scares in the duck room walkaround, and more air shots from the Mummy himself as I walked around him. I did find myself a bit confused in the Frankenstein rooms. The first creature did not greet me with his customary scare; however, the rampaging creature DID get right up in my face, followed by a delightful greeting that I haven't gotten before. So... did they switch? Did they change tactics? Confused... That really doesn't matter to anyone but me, so... regardless of who/what/where, thank you everyone! You've continued to bring a really fun and scary experience here to some of my favorite characters ever!
  16. Last night, incredibly, I got to do a solo run through this house. It really increased my appreciation of this house when I didn't have to share the scares, and the resets were all ready for me. My favorite room is still the opening through the hospital - the walkers and the doors. Love my doors. But all of the rooms were so much fun in which to interact, take my time and look around more. That's never gonna happen again, hell week/night commences. Thank you to all the shufflin' participants, I really enjoyed my time with you!
  17. You know how, when you go through a house multiple times over 6 weeks, and it keeps getting better each time? Yeah, that I keep forgetting people, but I'm trying really hard not to. Had two cast A runs last night, both were so fun and well awaited! First set of straightjackets - thanks for attacking me - multiple times - every time. Love my nurse and sharing hand hearts!! It looks like our doctor is fully recovered and completely on top of his game, yay! Both black widows continue to work the strobes and their spider webbing to get VERY in your face, and I love it! Mom and Dad both rock - Mom seems to be getting more psycho as the event progresses, and Dad gives me enough attention from above me that I'm appropriately creeped out. And I do like that. Ah, my bully ain't no bully but a sweetheart (but don't tell anyone that, coz he also scares right good-like). I have been really remiss in appreciating our cheerleader, since I'm usually focused to the right. Thanks for the scares, and I hand heart you too!! Dead Jock and Dead Dad are getting really good at both getting me every run through - I especially enjoy the "L" sign Dead Dad holds up to his forehead (how did you know?). Cold Ethyl, I know you don't get nearly enough acknowledgment at what is set up as a distraction. Please know, every time I go through, it's good to see you're back (har-de-har-har). Helzo, thanks for hitting your target (me) every time. And special kudos on my second run - not only did he get me, but also the guy just behind me immediately after. And the guy was still scared, knowing he was there! Heart XRay Alice, you always combine creep-i-tude and affection. Which is extremely disturbing. And makes me very happy. Final mattress room Steven psycho person - thank you for chasing me out of your room! They chase because they care... Finale Alice and Steven, thanks for coming after me each time, even though I tend to be distracted. And so much applause, as always, to my finale showman; I tip my invisible top hot to you as well, kind sir. I really hope I didn't forget anyone. Thank you all for making this silly lady so happy during my many run throughs. So sad it's almost over, but grateful for the wonderful memories, and anticipating a fabulous and over the top final night! <3
  18. A little after 8:00 pm this evening (Wednesday), outside the Simpsons area, there was a Beast that was going for a scare by me, and ran into/tripped over the footrest of my chair. It looked like he was fairly injured; he limped off, and it looked like he was going off set. If he is not on these forums, PLEASE extend my concern and well-wishes to him; I was just sick over this. I hope he's going to be okay, and I'm really, really sorry I was there and in his way. With all the yahoos out there trying to hurt the actors on purpose, he/they certainly didn't need this to add on top of the problems.
  19. Medical room is Poison, I'm pretty sure. And yes, I've also heard both Devil's Food and Black Widow in, erm, Black Widow. Which makes sense. Good spider!
  20. Crap, I can't not go again. Who needs car insurance, anyways? :P

    1. MahB

      MahB

That's the spirit? lol :P I'm definitely bummed I can't go again. :\ Will have to console myself by getting some HHN goodies some time in the next week. <3

I didn't word that well - not go again other than Halloween. Fighting myself about going Wednesday. I feel your pain, but enjoy the goodies! :)

  21. Found it - yes, whether intentional or not, it seems to have been there the whole run.
  22. I noticed from the beginning of the run - I remember saying something about the floor being "wonky", and then figuring the same thing, that it was set up to assist in disorientation. If we're talking about the area right around Heart Alice in Xray, that floor has been that way since EP.
  23. Han shot first.

These aren't the droids you're looking for.

  24. While nowhere near the level that our actors experience, I certainly could have done without the lady that got well and properly terrorized by the beasts in Hollywood last night. I don't mind her hiding behind me; I don't even, necessarily, mind her touching me. But grabbing my arms from behind and plunging her nine inch nails into them seriously invades my boundaries. Sigh - some people's children.
  25. I didn't get to spend much time with this legion last night, but I did have some wonderful interaction with the Master in Central Park. There were also many attentive ladies there that seemed to really like the way I smelled. Blood is like fine wine - it improves as it ages. I salute you my fellow Strengoit!
