deliciousoatmeal
So happy the first announcement wasn't TWD. I hope the event shifts focus away from it, and it seems like it is
ForeverEvil1
The jealousy is real. This is one I'm looking forward to watching on YouTube and hoping that the movie and maze are good enough for Orlando next year.
Freak
I'm looking forward to seeing this! I'm expecting grand and beautiful sets. I think this has potential of having the finest sets HHN has ever made. This could also end up being the only maze I look forward to.
deliciousoatmeal
I feel like I'm going to be massively underwhelmed by the maze's facade. They're most likely using the mansion as the facade, of course, and I don't see how they're going to effectively scale a 100-200 foot tall facade down to about 20 feet. Does anyone know what the tallest facade they've ever built was?

I agree that Del Toro is able to visualize and create awesome set designs. Maybe this will result in some effective scares as folks are admiring the sets. Grindhousehero13
Since Del Toro has a hand in the maze I'm sure it won't disappoint especially creature wise.
Hatchet
Excellent choice for a first maze announcement and just like Insidious in 2013 I am super stoked we get another awesome IP exclusive to Hollywood. Thank you John Murdy you did not disappoint! This maze has a really good chance at being my most anticipated of the whole lineup.
hhnfanforever
Considering Murdy said it will be in the metro sets, I'm assuming it will be in 747 and the facade for Black Sabbath in 2013 was pretty massive if you look at old pictures/videos, I have a feeling this facade will be something similar but not in 3D obviously. Tobias
Considering Murdy said it will be in the metro sets, I'm assuming it will be in 747. Nope, the Metro Set location is where the TWD maze has been the past several years.
Mr.HHN
I'm excited for this one, glad to hear Del Toro is involved!
DTH316
I knew this was coming! Super excited, I can't wait for some Del Toro insanity in person. However, the subtitle is god awful. Every year since Kill, Jason, Kill, they just get dumber and dumber. Either way, won't effect the maze much. Hopefully they utilize the maze aspect and have at least two paths at the end or something as alternate endings. That would really drive up repeat business for me! Kurseddragon
I don't mind this one...I still think The Saw is the Law is the absolute dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Ridesandstuff
I honestly don't think its bad
deliciousoatmeal
Is "Guillermo Del Toro Presents" part of the title of the maze? It's on the announcement image, and I realized that would probably make this the longest maze title in recent history.

foREVer56
then may I introduce you to "The Life And Crimes Of Michael Myers"Clowns 3D: Music by Slash says hai.I swear Hollywood is BAD at making names. The Walking DEAD:DEAD Inside, Evil Dead:The Book of the Dead, Kill, Jason, Kill, and now this. This one isn't nearly as bad as ^, but still not great. It'a minor thing, as it has nothing to do with the actually maze quality, but it still bugs me. lolREALLY jealous about this one. I was supposed to come over to Cali for this event, but plans fell through so I will not be attending. Hope it's great!
deliciousoatmeal
Just a thought, but do we know from any trailers or screenshots what the main character's house looks like? I'm curious as to how it's more worthy of being the facade.
kingundisputed_
It's in the trailer and it's stunning.
deliciousoatmeal
It's in the trailer and it's stunning.I don't mean the mansion, I mean the cottage in America. I had assumed (and hoped) that the mansion would be the facade, but for some odd reason John decided it wouldn't make a good facade. I agree that it would be hard to scale down though, but still. deliciousoatmeal
As someone pointed out on USHForums, the facade for the maze will be the building seen in this trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN33gvxS-c8
DTH316
Now that I've seen the movie, I feel this maze didn't represent the movie to it's full potential. Oh well
ForeverEvil1
Now that I've seen the movie, I feel this maze didn't represent the movie to it's full potential. Oh wellYeah, lots of scenes are merged, though honestly I do understand why, since a lot of the scenes are in the same locations.
