As a matter of fact, it's technically already started! they've already started clearing the T2 queue! Notice how they removed they removed the small silver wall from the queue completely? Compare that image to the 2010 construction: ^^2010 construction Notice the difference? Anyway, post any construction updates you may have. Just remember that this is not the speculation thread. Here ya go! Black tent in the WWW arena has been erected! Mummy venue Not much going on by JP. Over by Terminator (Soon to become Despicable Me), the carpet has already been laid out for the maze! Beautiful sight, isn't it? One last look at Terminator. Not much has changed from last week except the black tent in WWW arriving and the carpet being laid out by T2. I have one that is pretty exciting as the walls for Western and Terminator have gone up! Lower lot maze. Nothing really going on yet except for a handful of boxes down there (If you can look closely) New signage for the JP venue entrance. I'll bet the real reason why they put the sign up there was so that they could have a place to put the maze signage instead of just a cheap banner. Nothing going on by JP...yet. Hmmmmm.....could these be for the Terror Tram? Now what you all have been waiting for..... That's right, walls have already gone up at Terminator! Doesn't look like House of 1000 Corpses to me and certainly doesn't look like it'll be in 3D. If you look closely, you can see that the walls look like they are being re-purposed from Steven's house from Alice Cooper last year. Wait for it... There you go! See what I mean? Remember in 2010 when the major three venues were well under construction and we were still wondering where that fifth house was going? I'm a little worried about the JP house though, there is literally NOTHING down there. But the same thing happened last year with Terminator and they still pulled it off. I saw a few steel drums on the backlot as far as TT is concerned. I can't wait to see more pictures and videos. I won't be able to make it to the park until HHN. Construction on the Wild West arena: Look at that. They've painted the walls to resemble that of a forest. I wonder if they're doing that to make it fit in with the theme of the maze.... Carpet has been laid out for the lower lot. Nothing was going on by JP or Shrek. The most metal thing you'll see all week. Now I've saved the best for last... DIPPIN' DOTS FLOAT!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, in all seriousness, here's the REAL treat I'm excited to show you guys.... The Terminator queue. Lookin' swanky, huh? More Terminator goodness. Part Two is coming right up! Here's a closer look. Anyone see the black widow wall from Alice Cooper with the cobwebs? What's this now? Remember when John Murdy said something about doing the largest room they've ever done for the history of HHN? Well, I think this is it. I doubt that little stand will be in the house though. Haha. I'll post my thoughts on what I think it could be in the spec. thread. Among those three doorframes, do you see a wheel-like structure in the middle? I'll share my thoughts on this in the spec. thread. So there you go. That's the ENTIRE T2 queue and the maze update for the day. Disclaimer: I got those last shots with permission from the cast members. We stood by the side before entering the T2 show to finish our floats and they were totally cool with taking pictures and looking around the balcony. It would make no sense for them to use those walls in T2 and then make new ones for a repeat. Am I the only one who feels that this will be slightly longer than Corpses? Could just mean they're not using that specific scene anymore... for example, imagine if we saw walls from Saw's Cold Room (when Jigsaw is being operated on) in the WWW venue.
