PsychoScarepy: Hatchaway Camp (WWW arena)

Synopsis: Escaped inmates of Shadybrook Asylum wreak havoc at a summer camp after they are unwittingly hired as counselors. Set in the mid-'80s

The murderous inmates of Shadybrook Asylum have yet again escaped incarceration and now they have their eyes set on the idyllic Hatchaway Camp. Under the guise as the new camp counselors (whom they gruesomely murdered), the inmates are going to teach these unhappy campers of an important lesson about SURVIVAL. So pack your sleeping bag, hunting knife, and chainsaw, because at Hatchaway Camp, you won't be going back home!

Maze Backstory: Other than the known fact the Shadybrook inmates were hired as counselors for Hatchaway Camp, the maze's main story centers around a doomed camper named Molly Schmidt. Molly was a sweet and naive teenager who arrived at Hatchaway in the summer of '86 hoping to make friends that would last a lifetime. Unfortunately for Molly, her is lifetime is going to be cut short because of the arrival of the maniacal counselors. For Molly, the first week of the Hatchaway was just a ball, she made plenty friends albeit with the exception of a clique of popular kids who constantly harassed her. After telling her plight to her cabin's counselor "Angie" (one of Angela Demort's familiars), the clique mysteriously dissapeared, apparently being "sent home" by the counselors. Things started even weirder when the more campers started to dissapear. Molly became increasingly paranoid after she tried to phone a freind at home and realised that she was never sent home in the first place! Upon finding out that there was something wrong, Molly decided to visit the Head Counselor and discovered that he was decapitated by no one else other than Angie! Terrified, Molly ran away to the forest and was never seen again.

Queue video: The video features a variety of death scenes used in the "

series, "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbBCP7VKM-E," and "Friday the 13th - Part I."

Queue Audio: The queue audio will feature a voice-over of Molly re-telling her experience of Hatchaway Camp via letters to her parents. Her letters will come in three stages: first being of how great camp is, second has her notice that something is amiss and getting increasingly paranoid about it, and third has her absolutely terrified and begging her parents to take her back home.

Maze Soundtrack:

Facade - Dancehall

1. Social Dance (transitional)

The camp's dance hall is eerily abandoned. Party and snack food is laid out a the buffet, but is left untouched. Blood is splattered all over the tables and windows. A banner announcing the dance is splattered with blood. The song "

is played in the background.

2. Kitchen

Human body parts are stuffed in inside a huge Dutch oven. The stench of rotten pork scents the room, its main source is large decayed boar butchered on a counter. Then we see an obese "counselor" (maniac) forcing a camper's head into a deep fryer. Another counselor jumps out of the refrigerator attack the guest with a cleaver.

A river is heard in the background. As the guests enter the boathouse, a counselor attacks the guests with a boat paddle. The guest walk through a row of boats that have corpses hidden in them. The corpses, pale and bloated due to drowning, come to life and attack the guests.

6. Campfire Circle

An insane counselor is singing insulting lyrics to the guest as they pass by the Campfire Circle. The campers surround the fire are dead and mutilated and the corpse of another camper is roasting on a spit over the fire. Another counselor jumps out of an outhouse attacking the guests with a guitar.

7. Empty Cabin

The on the beds are the mutilated corpses of the campers laid out on their beds "sleeping." Some campers come back to life and try to call out for help.

8. Bathroom (Outhouse Kill)

A counselor is shoving a camper inside the outhouse toilet with the help of a plunger. He starts laughing maniacally as he cracks "poop jokes" while the poor chap is drowning in the feces.

9. Cabin (Hazing kills)

The guests enter an adjacent cabin and find the counselors giving a "hazing." Everything is in complete chaos, there's blood everywhere and the counselors are literally ripping the campers apart with their bare hands. Suddenly an inmate emerges from a room revving a chainsaw.

10. Outdoor Shower (sheeted area)

The guests go through an outdoor shower that is set up like a sheet maze. More counselors and inmates attack the guests with hunting knifes.

Tents are laid throughout the campgrounds. The tents are bloodied and filled with the hacked remains of the campers. When the guests walk through them, mutilated campers crawls out and call for help.

While walking through the forest, a delirious camper (Molly) attacks the guests with a hunting knife. She's in a state of panic and might be going crazy.

15. Abondoned Cabin/Body room (Inmates' reveal)

The guests enter a dilapidated cabin, presumably the inmates' hideout. The bloodstained gowns and strait jackets the Shadybrook inmates were wearing are hanging on cloths wires, the room transitions into a body room containing the corpses of the real counselors. Inmates in Shadybrook gowns attack the guest in the body room.

16. Camp Counselor Angie (Molly's death/Body storage)

The last room has all of the campers' propped and arranged in a circle, with each victim dying of a different ways, one of them is a decapitated Molly. Camp Counselor "Angie," who presumably killed Molly, interacts with the corpses as if they were still alive and then taunts the guests with a hatchet if they walk by. Molly's corpse also comes to life for a final scare.

17. Final Scare - Archery Range (Outdoor area of WWW arena)

The lights of the archery are blindingly bright (a la Brenda's death in the original Friday the 13th) and you see couple of corpses propped onto the targets impaled by many arrows. Then a inmate emerges from the range chasing the guests off with a chainsaw.

Characters:

"Camp Counselors" - Crazed youths dressed in tattered, blood-stained Camp Hatchaway T-shirts and outrageous feathered and lethal 80s' hair-dos and don'ts. The back of the shirts reads "counselors," indicating that they're the counselors.

*Campfire Counselor - This guy.

Since they will be the victims in this maze, most, if not all, of the campers are mutilated in a variety of ways: e.g. throat slashed, stabbed, eye-gouged, burned, skinned, thrashed, bashed, etc.

*Molly Schmidt - Essentially, she's going to be a Molly Ringwald look alike. Pretty, prim, and innocent but with a tattered and haggard appearance due to the fact that she's been traumatized.

Angela Easter Egg - "Camp Counselor Angie"

Well, here are my movie mazes... Yeah, they may be not as detailed as the rest of my treatments but I'll fix that whenever I'll get the chance to.

Rob Zombie's Halloween: Evil Unmasked (Stage 37)

The residents of Haddonfield don't know it yet... but death is coming to their small sleepy town. Sixteen years ago he was committed to Smith's Grove, now Michael Myers has escaped from the mental institution and makes his way back to his hometown intent on a murderous rampage.

Facade - Myers' House (Childhood)

1. Myers' House circa 1990s'

Guests enter the Myers House through the frontyard by entering through a chainlink fence. The grass is dry and died, the house is adorned with cheep Halloween decorations and lights, and a pumpkin-headed scarecrow is seated in a lawn chair on the porch. The first thing the guests see upon entering the Myers' residence in Ronnie White's corpse tied to a recliner in the living room, the original Frankenstien movie is playing on the TV. Suddenly a young, clown-costumed Michael Myers springs out of the shadows with a large, bloodied kitchen knife and threatens the guests as they are ushered to a hallway leading to kitchen. In the kitchen, Steve Haley's corpse is propped up on the kitchen table, when the guests walk by him he screams out for help but Michael Myers appears once again, now brandishing an aluminum bat, bashes his head in as he emerges from a cupboard. The guests are then lead through another hallway that leads to Michael's bedroom, which is decorated in the same manner as Laurie Strode's room in H2, but on the cabinet lies a bunch of broken and bloodied cages of Michael's former pets. At the bedroom, the guests see the clown-costumed Michael, who's now wearing a clean Shape mask, gently cradling his baby sister in his arms, serving no threat to the guests as they walk past him, however that only proved to be a distraction when the real scare comes from a gravely injured Judith, who bursts out from another room scream for help. The guests then walkthrough another hallway, witnessing Michael brutally finishing off Judith by repeatingly stabbing her with knife. The guests exit through the backdoor where the guests are confronted by Michael's beaten and bloodied bully (Wesley) who begs for help as they enter a wooded area that leads them to Smith's Grove.

2. Smith's Grove Sanitarium (present)

The guests enter Smith's Grove Sanitarium in the wake of Michael's break-out. Upon entering the asylum, the entire lobby is in a state of dissaray, the corpses of the orderlies and security guards are strewn on the floor, and the alarms of the facility are blaring. The inmates of Smith's Grove (presumably set free by Michael as a diversion) are wandering aimlessly throughout the halls of the ruined hospital, though they're virtually harmless they make many attempts to frighten and taunt the guests. After going through lobby/hallway, the guests are ushered to Michael's cell. His room, looks like any other cellroom, but the walls are lined with a plethora of Michael's paper mache masks. A paper-mache masked Michael bursts of the closet, and attacks the guests. Shortly afterwards, the guests find themselves in the hospital's reck room, where we hear a recording Loomis' description of Michael in one of his sessions. There we see Michael brutally stabbing a Nurse in the neck. The guests lead to an emergency exit where they leave the hospital.

3. Rabbit in Red Lounge

The after going through a dirt pathway, the guest find themselves outside the Rabbit in Red Lounge. The guest encounter Michael again, finally in his iconic Shape-costume, stalking the perimeter of the club. Once inside, we noticed the mutilated corpses of several employees hung by the neck on holiday lights. The guest navigate through partyroom floor, where the mortally injured club Owner pops from behind the bar begging for help before Michael emerges from a door behind the bar and proceeds to finish him off with a large butcher's knife. The guest are then led through the a hallway where we see the silhouettes of the dancers stripping behind the curtains of the booths. Suddenly a bleeding, scantily clad dancer runs out of the screaming for help only to snatched away and dragged back into the booth by none other than Michael Myers.

4. Haddonfield Cemetery

After travelling through a wooded area, the guests find themselves at the gates of Haddonfield Cemetery. In this part of the maze, the guests have to navigate there way through seemingly endless rows of crypts and tombstones whilst being stalked by Michael. The Cemetery will also have fog to further disorient the guests.

5. Wallace House

Not long after leaving the cemetery, the guests find themselves walking down Winchester Drive, the neighborhood where Lindsay Wallace lives in. Entering the house via the frontyard, nothing seems wrong with this neatly kept and decorated house that's until we see the silhouette of Michael Myers butchering a teenager through the windows. Entering the house, the guests see Paul, Annie's boyfriend, hanging on a noose with a pumpkin smashed onto his head. From the shadows, Michael attacks the guests again and starts to toy with Paul's corpses by pushing it back and forth. The guests are then lead to the livingroom, where a bloody and seemingly deceased Annie lies a couch. When the guests walk by her, she screams for them to runway. The guests enter the kitchen where Mr. and Mrs. Wallace are seated around the kitchen table. Mrs. Wallace appears to be dead, but Mr. Wallace is stilled barely alive with Michael standing behind slicing his neck through with a kitchen knife. Then the guest walk through a blood splattered hallway where a body a police officer lies. One of the doors in the hallway opens to reveal a frantic Laurie begging for help. Shortly after that encounter, the guests reach the end of the hallway where a large window reveals Michael peering through the window, attempting to slam his had through it. The guests exit the house via backdoor.

6.Myers' House (present)

After walking through a wooded area, the guest find themselves once again at the gates of the Myers house, which is now in a dilapidated state.

From Dusk 'til Dawn: One Hell of a Night (Stage 29)

The "Titty Twister" is under new ownership and is now opened with new staff of alluring dancers who will quench the lustful desires of their vicious patrons. But at this nightclub, there's more to worry about than the murderous cut-throats who patron it, because the staff is revealed to be a new breed of vampire who set out to make you their new sacrifice.

Facade - Motel Drugstore

1. Drugstore (Vampire Firefight)

2. Motel

3. Desert (Mass Grave)

4. The Titty Twister

With the cabin being haunted and the youths transforming into vicious "Deadites" the only thing you could do now is run.

Yeah. I will post them sometime after this weekend, but they will get posted. It's just a VERY big week as I have a huge test in about an hour. That being said I have an idea of what I want to do, but it's not a sure thing/theme. As of now I'm going with the tagline:

HHN: FEAR FIGHTS BACK

But that could easily change.

^ Thanks for the kind words. :)

Well here is my Terror Tram (finally!) I would have posted it weeks earlier, but I never got around so here it is!

Terror Tram

The Legendary Truth: Don’t Look Back…

Tram description:

After boarding the tram, the guide will talk about how members of the Legendary Truth Collective have been investigating a series of mysterious murders that occurred in the Toluca Lake area, which is conveniently adjacent to the back lot. Strangely enough the murders have been reportedly related to Urban Legends. The guide also mentions that they are filming the investigation as well, then the transmission cuts to a "found footage" documenting the film crew's investigation, which eventually depicts them being ruthlessly slaughtered by a group of unknown assailants, presumably the same ones responsible for the murders. The tram suddenly stops in the middle of the road and all the lights go out. A message appears on the transmission screen, cryptically stating "Don't Look Back." When we do, we see the corpses of the film crew and the Legendary Truth team strung up on the trees (the transmission screens will also show this ghastly discovery). The Tram starts working again and the guide is instructed by his/her manager to evacuate the people on the tram as soon as possible. We are then dropped off at Whoville only to find out that the murderers have transformed the entire back lot into an inescapable nightmare where urban legends become true!

Bunny Man Bridge (WhoVille)

As the guests approach WhoVille, chainsaw wielding maniacs in bunny costumes ambush them, chasing them away to the next set. Guests will also notice that all of WhoVille is littered with the mangled corpses of rabbits.

Organ Harvest (Bates Motel)

As guests approach the entrance to the Bates Motel, they notice a an abandoned police car, bloodied and riddled with bullet holes. The radio goes on and off, reporting cases of bodies being found with their organs missing. Various cars and vans are gathered around the Motel, the back of the vehicles are filled with mutilated bodies. Victims (some unconscious and many fully conscious) are stretched out in gurneys, having many of their internal organs forcibly removed by black market surgeons. When the victims try to call out for help, the surgeons threaten the guests with dangerous surgical tools. After leaving the Bates Motel, the guest then approach an abandoned bus with decapitated bodies hanging out of the windows. Adjacent to the bus is bloodied road sign with a pile of heads right next to it, making it seem like the passengers in the bus were beheaded by the sign. However a demented surgeon emerges from the bus, chasing the guests away with a circular saw.

Lovers' Lane/Hitchhiker Road (Wilderness Trail)

As guests climb up the Wilderness trail they notice a sign that reads "Lovers' Lane," which is ominously written in blood; a mortally wounded teenager suddenly jumps from behind the sign, pleading the guest to help her. Afterwards, they will notice several 50s'-esque cars parked along the side of the road, but the couples in the cars are soon revealed to be dead. Behind the one of the cars is a hook-handed maniac. The Hook-handed Maniac will continue to stalk the guests as he reappears in random places in the around the forest. He will also appear to slaughter a couple hapless campers in the same style Jason did in '08's "Nightmare Tour."

At the burnt cabin, bodies of the Hook Man's teenaged victims are stored in there. Some of them, who still barely alive will scream to the guests for help.

Once the guests reach the top of the Trail, guests will notice a crazed hitchhiker disguised as an elderly woman, dumping bodies near the "No Dumping" sign. The guests then come across a tree with several dead teenagers hanging on it. There's one lone survivor trapped in a car being tormented by the same Hitchhiker, who's now brandishing an axe.

White Creek Hill (Sheet maze)

White Creek Hill, the sight of Angela's notorious killing spree, has become its own urban legend. The despaired wails of the jilted Angela can still be heard. The reanimated corpses of Angela's suitors taunt the guest as the enter the sheet maze. The sheet maze is adorned with wedding bouquets and wilted flowers as well splatters of blood on the walls/sheets. The Bride's March is faintly heard in the background. Angela's ghost will stalk the guest at ever corner and turn until they leave the maze.

Don't Answer the Phone (Bates Mansion)

Guests will approach the Bates Mansion and hear a recording of the phone conversation of a Babysitter being taunted by a serial killer, who's calling her from the upstairs phone. The guests will eventually see the silhouette of the killer stabbing the babysitter to death through the window. At the front of the Mansion there is also a pile of garbage ready to be taken away. Among the trash is an assorted pile of toys, most notably a life-sized Clown Doll. The Doll, a maniac in disguise, frightens the guests who happen to his cross his path.

Don't Look Back (WotW set/Loading Station)

Basically all characters from the previous areas reappear for one last time, but with more chainsaw bunnies...

Aren't You Glad You Didn't Turn on the Lights? (On our way to the Mummy cave)

After being picked up by the tram guide, the guest almost leave the backlot in one piece. However, the tram stops in the middle of the road again because a surviving member of the Legendary Truth appears in front of the tram. Driver receives a message from the transmission, instructing him/her to turn off all the lights, which he does so promptly. The Legendary Truth member begs the driver to turn lights on as she as dragged back into the dark forest by the killers, who are now clad in the bunny costumes. The LT member screams for one last time, and soon a motion activated light reveals her corpse, strung in the same manner as the other LT associates from earlier. The Bunny Man appears again and signals the driver to go, while waving goodbye to the guests in a very disturbing manner. Shortly after that encounter, a final message appears on the screen saying, "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights?"

This game has gone nowhere (yeah, I finally realized it when I saw that I was the only one who actually posted most of the treatments), so I propose that start a 3rd game because I doubt any of the contestants still remember their maze treatments.

So by default does that make me the winner of game 2?

I am bringing this back as well... here is the story if anyone is interested. Mazes will come if this thread is resurrected.

I am trying to make an icon or something, but the basic premise of the event is that there are these people in an asylum believed to be mentally insane, but really they are the only people able to see an evil that posses and kills the innocent. The people in the asylum are too terrified of the beasts to contain themselves so they are constantly sobbing, yelling, or screaming yet no one believes them despite the fact that they are the only ones who can actually see the demon's possessing the living.

^ Interesting concept. But maybe for an icon suggestion I would suggest that the "entity" that these ill-fated inmates see is the Boogeyman itself.

It would work great for an event concept because the Boogeyman can be anything!

For example, to one inmate the boogeyman can be a demon, to another it could be a ghostly phantom, or to yet another it could be Michael Myers, etc.

You can also make the inmates major characters who play central role in the maze. For example, the inmate who sees the Boogeyman as Michael Myers can be Laurie Strode, or something like that.

You can probably tye in these individual fears that these inmates are thinking/seeing to each maze or scarezone that would make up the event.
