Grindhousehero13
Discuss All Aspects of "Zombieville" Scarezone Feel your stomach churn as you encounter a decaying English village, ravaged by the walking dead. Breathe in the foul stench of decay as the corpses of butchers, barbers, and yes—even senior citizens, reawaken in search of satiating their hunger for human flesh. DTH316
... remember that Blink 182, attack of the elderly idea I had? Not too far from it lmao But Zombieville is a pretty basic name, but hey, it's better than ZOMBIEZ.

jymmymack
Sounds pretty close to Zombieland and looks to have some humor.

jymmymack
I meant the name itself is a riff on Zombieland. The idea is closer to Shaun.

Zombie_Fury
This is definitely the scare zone I'm most excited for! Zombies at HHN are always my favorite, although wasn't the Dawn of the Dead scarezone here as well, or was that New York Street? I'm wondering what style they are going with this year as well. I always prefer fresh looking zombies, rather than skeleton looking ones
Trevler
Dawn of the Dead was New York Street.
DTH316
I like a mixture of both . Fresh zombies recently bitten, zombies that have been around and zombies that are hungry and falling apart. They all have different scare factors
electro_killer
I guess it wouldn't be a Halloween event without zombies.
bmoz628
I guess it wouldn't be a Halloween event without zombies. No no, it still would be. lol I love zombies but sometimes it's nice to have a year away from them...
Trevler
We didnt have any zombies last year. People asked, WHERE ARE THE ZOMBIES. So we have zombies this year.
HorrorNights93
I guess it wouldn't be a Halloween event without zombies. or klownz, freakz or psycho pathed murders lol i think its kind of cool how we all anticipated zombies being related to the event in some way. DTH316
I still think flesh eating mutants count as zombies in some way. If the "crazy making disease" in 28 Days Later counts than so should that!
Trevler
Mutants are born that way. Zombies are created. They also didn't really look like zombies. They looked like.. well... I don't want to be mean.
DTH316
But weren't these mutants created because of the plane crash?
Zombie_Fury
I Can't wait to start seeing what they are gonna do decoration wise for this zone. Hopefully its as good as all the years past with zombies. Sidenote, Am I the only hoping one of these zombie scarezones will eventually lead to a maze. I keep waiting for zombies to infest one of the maze locations, and think it make an aweome house!
Trevler
No. The plane crashed in mutant town and the mutants were eating the survivors. I would think the real key difference between zombies and mutants is that zombies are mostly unthinking automatons that only care about eating humans. Mutants are more or less fully functional. Mike Murder
just to clear things up: zom·bie /ˈzɒmbi/ noun 1. (in voodoo) a. the body of a dead person given the semblance of life, but mute and will-less, by a supernatural force, usually for some evil purpose. b. the supernatural force itself. mu·tant /ˈmyutnt/ adjective 1. undergoing or resulting from mutation. noun 2. a new type of organism produced as the result of mutation. Although there are many "horror" variations on each and both are fundamentally different, I think we can all agree that their function on the TT was pretty much the same. I am pretty apathetic toward the idea of a zombie maze as in general I feel that zombies are boring and have basically been done to death. Plus they really work better in a SZ or TT capacity where they have larger areas to shamble around. Slow scares don't tend to work as well within mazes and fast zombies are just lame.
