I know it's been brought up before, but my curiosity as to why it happens has suddenly been sparked. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's some examples... The Hallow/The Skoolhouse = Trick 'r Treat Dungeon of Terror = House of 1000 Corpses Run = Hostel (does Cold Blind Terror count as a generalization of The Thing?) They take the theme of a popular movie, and then make it generic. Personally, I like the concept of that. But it happens really often. Sometimes multiple houses each year. Does anyone know why it happens so often? I'm just curious, thinking about rights and stuff like that. I mean, Universal is a movie studio. You would think they had all the rights they wanted. Also, if you know of more examples to add to that list, feel free to post them. I had more, but then forgot them. - Doc

Have we already ruled out that Doctor Frankenstein Clone in SS22 is complete BS? The second I saw it, I didn't think it was a real role... than again, I could be wrong...

So, here's my speculation... The orange demon/dragon heads seem to be the same or similar texture as the heads in the vortex tunnel at The Hallow'd Past last year. They're lit the same way and are obviously 2D. Now, the other heads definitely appear to be hanging. What if this is a Chinese New Year hint? They have lion and dragon dancers that look a lot like the ones in the photo. Remember the colored street roles. (For a better look at the image, go here: http://twitpic.com/60ipbn/full )

The Marvel Zombies idea is great! "Maximum Carnage: RETOLD!" I wish they could do something like that - however, permissions are tough considering Disney owns Marvel now....

Hello sig makers, I would like a signature, please. It should say "Dr. Satan" (without the quotation marks) on the left sid of the sig in this font: http://www.fontspace.com/david-kerkhoff/drawing-blood Beneath that, I would like it to say "The Doctor is in..." (again, without the quotes) in that same font. I would also like this image in the right side of the sig: Some blood stains around all of it would be cool. The text should be red with a white outline or shadow. Thanks! Doc

It sounds like it might just be leftover from Orfanage. Gobstopper, unfortunately, does not exist. It was a fake trailer made by Funny or Die for a non-existent movie. But the concept itself, evil Willy Wonka (how about "Killy Wonka"?) could definitely work. That's something I'd love to see!
