  1. I guess, for me, the fact that this was supposed to be the 1st time they used open flame "in" a house......it could have been actually "in" the house. I didn't think it was bad....but I thought it was just a flame and nothing really special.
  2. Thanks for the appreciation. I try my hardest to get as many people as possible. I get a lot of "What the fuck was that?" The scareactor who said that in PS:HFTH is actually in that house. She enjoyed that line as well!
  3. That would be my cast, Cast B, and he is a member on here. I will make sure he knows you showed him some love on here.
  4. Your Orfanage guesstimate is only correct during the first 30 to 60 minutes of the park opening. It usually stays at around 60+ minutes most of the night. I don't think the others are too far off, but someone else can give you a better time frame than I.
  5. The issue was fixed that night and they have had no issues since then.
  6. I don't know if it was actually a busted line or a valve that was broken, but there was water everywhere. The entrance to the house was flooded so they had to clase the queue down so they could fix the problem and clean up the water.
  7. Orange County doesn't have school today! That is why the park was extra busy with school-aged children.
  8. On a side note to that, I was told by our "Floating Specter" that she saw someone take out a knife and attempt to cut the scrim in her hallway. I can't believe anyone would even think that was cool or would have the balls to do that!
  9. I have to thank the closing cast zombie in the "zombie baby" room for making me jump on Friday or Saturday. I was waiting for the baby to pop up again and when I turned around he was right there and I jumped. I am sure he had 10 - 20 seconds to wait on me and hope the payoff was worth the time standing there!
  10. I really dislike people who walk through my area and insist on touching my curtain or area around my boo-hole. Sometimes I have actually run into people's hands/arms because they have done this just as I am moving the curtain back to pop out. oops Also, I can't stand too far back into my boo-hole because if I do I can't see people coming. If you look back into my boo-hole and see me....why would you point me out so that you ruin it for others who didn't want to be told where scareactors are??!!?? I like having an ops person in my room (especially 2 of them) and think they do a good job. That being said, I think they all need to do a better job of keeping the people from being able to stand at the door at the end of the hall. It allows them to see too much of the "man behind the curtain". My scene partner tries to keep them moving as well, but it doesn't always work. That is all......for now
  11. Just a quick question for you: What kind of costumes did you expect in a "period" ghost house? I agree that the masks aren't the best option....but did you want us all in white sheets????? I do think our house could have been a few scenes longer.
  12. I think my girlfriend is Sinister's tag-out and know for a fact that she does not just stand there. She did play the whole innocent, hair-twirling girl who would immediately snap at you. She is a vetran who doesn't/hasn't ever just stood there in any role she's ever been cast in. She has since become aggressive for the whole time.
  13. Apparently the whole park is a smoking area Luckily, I have yet to see/smell people smoking in the houses! I think there should be clearly defined, visible smoking areas and anyone outside of that should be asked to put it out. With that being said......I know it won't happen
  14. When you get into the park and get to the lagoon there is a digital board with wait time listed. It will tell you wait times and directions to rides. Also, there are several others scattered throughout the park that will also tell you wait times of the rides. If you have a smart or iphone, there is a "Ride Hopper" app that has user-listed wait times as well. I have that and find it to be a little accurate assuming that there are other users in the park. I don't know any website that has up-to-minute wait times. I think Harry Potter ride has about an hour wait most of the day.....but I haven't been there in a while and exclusively ride single rider.
  15. I am behind a piece of cloth in the hallway just before the last scene. I don't know if it was me, but I try really hard to be only out there briefly. I wear a paigeboy cap, white collarless white shirt, suspenders, and brown wool pants. If that was me, then thanks for the acknowledgment, if not then I am glad you appreciate the job someone in my house is doing. You can PM and I will give you my exact location in the house so I can tell if it was, in fact, me.
  16. Harry Potter is just another land within IOA so you just walk into it. You don't wait in line at this time of day. OK, if you have the time and if the wait isn't too long, i would highly recommend waiting in line for the normal queue. If, however, you are running out of time and want to ride the ride then I would suggest doing the single rider line. You can't really see the person/people in your party as the seat somewhat wraps around you and single rider is usually much faster. Speaking of the ride vehicles, make sure you can fit in the ride vehicles just inside the ride gates otherwise you can't ride the ride. I don't know you or what you look like, I am just saying the vehicle seats aren't very wide..... Hope that helps!
  17. If you walk down my hallway and start knocking on the door behind me, guess what, I am probably not going to try to scare you. Or, on the revers, I will try to scare the s^#$ out of you!!!! Generally the 1st....
  18. It is in the middle of the house in the room with all of the computer equipment and there is a left hand turn in the room. TheChair can give more definite placement of the room in the house.
  19. Last year, I was going after a girl and didn't realize she was carrying one. Luckily, I was wearing a mask and so the sabre hit my mask and not my face. It was just jolting to be going after someone and having something you didn't see, hit you in the mask.
  20. When you walk out of Zombiegeddon, you are right next to the Disaster! Ride and Zombie Gras is in the street right in front of the Disaster! Ride. Hades is in one of the Sound Stages with PsychoScareapy. This is too far away from Disaster! to be part of its queue.
  21. I think he is a scareactor in the LT house this year....that's kinda funny
  22. Obviously the SS houses would be ok. I think the tent houses would be (In Chucky it didn't matter too much) but I haven't been through them to know how the light effects them. I know Jaws queue is not great in the light.
  23. ^ One word to describe the videographer's type: Douche!!!
