  1. Hi All Will be attending HHN on Sunday along with my other half (thought it weird that it shuts at 12.00 on Halloween, but what the hey). How far is HHN from the Royal Pacific? Presume we will need to get the shuttle? If so where do we get it from and how often do thet leave? Do they actually stop at 12.00 (i.e. should we leave at 11.30 to make sure we get back to the Hotel?) Thanks massively in advance, we are v worried and don't want it to ruin our trip!! Oh and hope to bump into some of you guys there!!
  2. Awesome. Is there a website that shows current waiting times for IOA and Universal so I can get an idea of standard wait? Presume it usually doesn't go much beyond an hour or so?
  3. My girlfriend and I finish a Behind the Horror tour at 4.00 - we then have 2 hours until Islands of Adventures closes. Is that a realistic timescale to see Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey? I had read that it can take a long time (an hour) to get into the Wizarding World, is this accurate or do you simply walk in like any other part of IOA? And also most sources claim that it takes at least an hour to get into Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, do we have no chance then if we only have two hours? I presume that IOA is closed at night too? Thanks in advance for any and all help guys! D
  4. Did post this elsewhere but not sure where is best... Hi All What a brilliant thread idea! As you may have seen in a couple of my earlier posts, my girlfriend and I are coming over from the UK just for the weekend as its our anniversary (she never gets any time off work and has had a really rough year, I'm doing this to cheer her up) Would anyone be able to "customise" our experience a little to give her a nice surprise when we are there? We will be doing the RIP Tour on Sunday 31 starting at 7 and ends at 11 - if anyone has any suggestions of something fun (even if it's just shouting out her name or the name of her boss or something) that would be awesome. More than willing to ensure we wear something to distinguish us! Message me if interested - it would make our trip. All Best Dan

  6. Thanks Dave. Yep, are lives are crazy - she hardly ever has time off and we are determined to do this. It's basically our vacation in a weekend, but we are horror fans and its our anniversary so we thought lets just do it! So you feel that each time you go in a house its a little different? Whoops "our" lives. It's late!
  7. Hi All Been a while... We're going! Yes, myself and my sgnificant other have taken the plunge and decided to come over from the UK for the weekend... Sat 30 Howl O Scream and Alone Sun 31 HHN RIP Tour (Halloween, how cool!!) Mon Fly back! Will be exhausted but soooo looking forward. Question - because we are only at HHN one night (tour starts 7.00 end 11.00) should we also get express pass to go back to a house we enjoyed? I notice a few people go back a couple of times or does that become tedious? How long will there be after 11.00 to see the houses? Anyone going on Halloween? Thanks in advance
  8. Violence / Accidents etc. Has anyone heard of anything like this happening at the park? I presume it is pretty rare, but if you scroll down sounds pretty nasty... any views? Do people freak out a lot in the mazes or something? http://blogcritics.org/culture/article/attraction-review-universals-halloween-horror-nights/ Also, purely out of interest, just wondered how safe the chainsaws were? Am presuming they can't really do any damage if someone were to slip as they are special "prop" chainsaws... or am I totally wrong? Always been fascinated by that... Just curious!
  9. Goldie, do you travel from Venice, as in Venice, Europe! Wow! Are you going this year?
  10. Did I mention that this website is awesome?!?! The two of us look at it regularly! Stay and Scream sounds like a good idea... have just done a quick check - it says that it opens at 6.30? In that case, when does the park open to the general public? Or have we missed something?!
  11. Hi guys - please help!!! Because of her work schedule, my other half (a doctor), can only make it for a weekend. We would be travelling from London on a Friday morning... spend Saturday at HHH then head home on the Sunday... we would use the express pass... To everyone who has been, is it SO good it is worth this, or not worth the hassle (i.e. huge amount of cash for a weekend trip, be exhaused afterwards etc).We are also concerned that as it will be a Saturday evening the crowds will be a nightmare and every house will be a "conga line" effort as opposed to an experience. Everyone's opinion appreciated as we are going to decide today.
  12. Hi All. Been watching a lot of footage on You Tube and am slightly confused... in some of the houses it looks pretty quiet and you experience the houses so that everything comes as a surprise... in others it looks as if everyone is so close together they could do the conga... and you can see everything that is co...ming up! Obviously one is a very scary / fun experience and the other quite boring and unscary as you know what's coming next... is it much quieter at the beginning of October? Or is it always mad busy? It will cost a lot to come from the UK and any comments from those who have been hugely appreciated.
  13. HHH Hollywood or Orlando? Hi All! We are looking to organise a really special trip: has anyone been to both? Which would you recommend if you had to choose? Would you also take into account Knotts Scary Farm and Howl O Scream? Anyone able to compare these as well? Thanks so much and looking forward to your thoughts!
