  1. If the 90’s vibes are the case, then they better bring back Vamp again with Grunge icons from Seattle area as Vampires.
  2. Hamlet is Shakespeare’s closest story to meet the horror genre imo. It’s a dark tale of vengeance, guilt, insanity, and gruesome violence. You could argue that it is secretly.
  3. Found this on YouTube! The guitar downtunes does sound a bit like if it was done by Brad Delson from Linkin Park or Page Hamliton from Helmet, and the keyboards gave me the Broken-era NIN vibes. I love it! https://youtu.be/ntMe-QHc_GI
  4. Yeah, It could work as a scarezone similar to Your Luck Has Run Out but better. The slasher character just interacts the guests like normally, then hides back while telling them to wait for moment and scares in his/her true form.
  5. So many creatures to choose from. Been checking some of the most Notorious killers worldwide that they could take some inspirations for an original slasher-themed concept like Pedro Lopez from South America who was very prolific and was responsible for claiming the lives of between 110 to 240 victims in Ecuador whose whereabouts remained a mystery after he was released from jail (which is pathetically sad and fucked up that the guy is out there now for more than two decades).
  6. Couldn’t believe that I’ve forgot to add Russia! I would definitely include that if we ever get eleven houses for the event.
  7. I’m about to bring in the scarezones next, and each one will represent a country like the houses individually. Norway: Pagan Black Metal Scene China: Wu Shamans/Sorcerers Italy: Legendary Roman Creatures Morocco: The Boukhencha ogres South America: The Maricoxi Ape Men And the Lagoon show could be it’s own version of Illuminations.
  8. What the lineup would look like of an International theme for HHN? It would mostly be originals with some returns. Each house would represent a country. Think of it as the World Showcase of Horror. Greece: The return of Hades from 2010 Japan: Youkai creatures in a castle/Wicked Man’s concept UK: Lesser known Victorian stories USA: The return of Nevermore from 2011 India: Scary Tales spin off inspired by the Jungle Book Africa: Voodoo (Less problematic than the other imo) Canada: The return of Yeti from 2019 Mexico: A Chupacabra house that was supposed to be built in 2012, but scrapped. France: The Beast of Gevaudan Germany: Nachzehrer Vampires @Wicked Man
  9. If that were the case, then it would mean they have to bring back Frankenstein, Dracula, the Invisible Man again, which it’s too predictable. Why not go with lesser known Victorian stories like The Castle of Otranto, The Turn of the Screw, and Carmilla?
  10. Inuyasha and Demon Slayer are among the most popular anime shows related to Japanese mythology and folklore, but I do want a Youkai house though. I also like the idea of an International theme. One of the scarezone locations would fit perfectly for a Norwegian Pagan Black Metal scene. I even came up with a Scary Tales spin off house inspired by the Jungle Book for an India representation.
  11. This might sound too similar to characters from Leave It To Cleaver, but it’d be interesting if there was a Chef icon who is of course a cannibal that makes food out of his victims for not following the rules and used skeletons as tables and chairs for his local restaurants. Have yourself a taste of Fear!
  12. If you mean that and the signs, then yeah - but I’ve expected to see scareactors as the icons. Concept wise, I get it they were supposed to be trapped in Fear’s lantern with a handful of exceptions, but it was the event’s big milestone year to make past favorites looked like if they were unleashed. Not so very much at this one disappointingly.
  13. Since this house mostly took place in the late 40’s, have anyone noticed some historical references to the Second World War and the Great Depression? I know there was a photo frame of Harry S. Truman who was president between 45 and 53, which is probably the closest one to notice in terms of historical accuracies.
  14. The HHN Finale of Seek & Destroy. All the scareactors emotionally gathered for the Controller’s ending speech and hugged each other after. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1812846985493281/permalink/4269642176480404/
  15. This house was sadly the last one to be located at the Shrek theater.
  16. I hope there’s gonna be a closing ceremony tonight; I’d love to see all the icons (with also the inclusion of Eddie, Cindy, and the Terra Queen), Leatherface, Beetlejuice, The Bent-Neck Lady, and Frankenstein’s Monster and his Bride standing behind the front walkway of 30 Years, 30 Fears scarezone as the finale of this year’s event.
  17. As it turns out, the HHN Orlando Facebook page has recently confirmed that Lady Luck represents Temptation.
  18. Any luck on the tunes that are made for this year’s event? One of them is an awesome banger in main gate and parkwide from what I’ve remember hearing.
  19. The next thing we all should be doing next is rank all the scarezones. Here’s mine! 1. Eddie’s Revenge 2. Gorewood 3. Seek & Destroy 4. Crypt TV 5. 30 Years, 30 Fears
  20. This will sadly be the last HHN show in the Fear Factor stage before event ends; it’s most likely gonna get replaced by the Harry Potter overkill.
  21. As for the houses I had walked through on opening night, these are my top list from top to bottom. 1. Case Files Underneath: Legendary Truth 2. The Bride of Frankenstein Lives 3. HHN Icons Captured 4. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 5. The Wicked Growth: Realm of the Pumpkin 6. Puppet Theater: Captive Audience 7. Revenge of the Truth Fairy 8. The Haunting of Hill House 9. Beetlejuice 10. Welcome to (S)Carey: Horror In The Heartland Though, my “bottom-tier” houses never made it to my expectations, but none of them were bad this year. All of them were good to near-perfect to me.
  22. Lady Luck represent Fate who seals Fear and gives her victims no luck.
  23. I think it would work more as an anthology series, some fairy tales and stories could work for one episode each like the Twilight Zone, and some could work for one season like AHS.
  24. Anyone noticed the recent Roman Numeral scars on Fear’s body? If you look at him more clearly while walking more slowly through this house, you’ll see darker red ones as not only the newest additions to his appearance but also as a reference to HHN 21 to this year. At this rate, the Orlando’s creative team are probably gonna give that character a redesign before bringing him back in the next five or ten years.
  25. I’ve had some thoughts that Chance would represent corruption before they confirmed her as Madness cause of the Harley and Joker-like captivation between her and Jack, and the way she was influenced by him and his maniacs.
